I just got to Africa. Am I close to getting Quiet as a buddy or did I miss something?
Quiet is mission 11.
Or do you mean you already have her and you're waiting to use her?
Give it a few more missions if so.
I am convinced it is nigh impossible to stamina kill skulls without a huge amount of patience, at least with the tier of weapons i have at the moment.
So don't have any regrets about blasting them to smithereens.
The mission where [sp]you have Skull snipers stopping you from reaching Code Talker[/sp] was the only time I ever successully neutralized all Skulls non-lethally. Supressed tranq rifle is my baby.
Finished my first mission in Africa. The place seems kinda dirty and depressing but maybe it was because of the first mission backstory. (Of course I'm not judging the real Africa here)
Are the troops in Africa a bit more experienced?
I only finished like 13 missions but will I get bigger GMP rewards later? So far it seems like I have just enough to develop a couple of things and not have negative GMP.
Can you still get resources from your FOBs whilst in offline mode?
Don't intend on getting into the whole FOB thing on my first playthrough but the game forced me into making one.
wait how the hell do you get the fulton outfit
You get it by retrieving a First aid file during the [sp]White Mamba[/sp] mission.
Mission 31 spoilers: Just killed [sp]Sahelanthropus[/sp] for the first time, not counting the fight [sp] early in the campaign, where you have to hide from him[/sp]
I come back and [sp]Kaz reveals he's blind for some reason and now there's "Big Boss is Watching You" signs all over my base.[/sp] Fuck that noise, Kaz, I don't want those up there.

I've only fought them once so far in the [sp] cargo extraction mission[/sp], I took one of them out non-lethally but after I beat them they all just woke up again and fucked off.
Any actual benefits to taking them out non-lethally?

There is in late game, but if you don't know about the benefit, then there's no use of doing it because you would have to do it again later to get the benefit.
So after playing this game ~22 hours I discovered this cool trick that lets you go back to ACC without having to call in the chopper, lose money, walk to the LZ then wait for the helicopter to depart!
You can just select Return to ACC in the pause-menu! WHOA!
I feel fucking stupid now.
Is there a way to deactivate Quiet's humming? It gets annoying after a while
What do you exactly lose in the FOB gamemode? Do your FOBs simply have their own resources, so anything you lose is just a bonus, or is it possible to go borderline bankrupt if someone fultons everything that isn't bolted to the floor?
This game has a stupid plot and I'm actually pretty mad about it.
Whooa, 46 spoils and little easter egg: [sp]I was dicking around on mother base, and came across a female S++ rank Intel member, and she said "Boss, no matter who you are, you're still my CO". She fucking knows.[/sp]

That this game is [sp]GARBAGE[/sp]?

[sp]No seriously you make me wait through 4, Portable Ops and Peace Walker only to reveal only a little bit of this matters? Oh cool it's Liquid. WHO FUCKING CARES[/sp]

This is also what I get for looking up older characters on the wiki. Don't do that.

Well what were you expecting of the game then? [sp]I mean it's filled in a tonne of gaps between PW and MG. The only thing I think is mega shitty is the fact they cut episode 51, and didn't put anything into the game to at least explained what happened with Eli, Mantis, and the child soldiers, especially seeing that they had a metal gear, and a potentially world destroying virus.[/sp]
[sp]Eli creates his own nation Inner Heaven, which falls apart in about two days[/sp]
Has anyone tried to fool the enemy soldiers using the "Enemy eliminated!" tapes yet? Using the iDroid speakers?

It's stuck in my head help
Man the FOB system is so broken. The online doesn't work for fucking days and then for the two minutes it does work all it does for me is take away half my staff because, surprise, my single command platform was easy to infiltrate, and then loses connection immediately afterwards.

I have the opposite problem. I can't invade without the player suddenly showing up and resetting my progress, but defense is easy.

Going to Combat Deployment, Rewards or ANYTHING that used Online in any way took like a minute before I decided to try opting into the beta. Now if the online is busted (which it usually is) it instantly says it's fucked instead of trying to connect for a minute. Also editing emblems doesn't lag.

I don't have the chance to defend because the online is broken, but the enemy can still invade me whenever they want.
They said you can opt out of this, but you actually can't. The game will force you to build a FOB through a tutorial.

I like to imagine the QUIET option on the menu is just to tell her to shut the fuck up.
For the longest time I thought it was a radio just being obnoxious, it wasn't until she gave me the casette of her humming that I figured it was her. Why would you even give that to me game?
Apparently I need MB coins to start another FOB? what kind of bullshit is this
Apparently I need MB coins to start another FOB? what kind of bullshit is this
The Konami kind of bullshit, apparently.
God the target practice is obnoxious as fuck
I personally don't mind multiple FOBs being behind a paywall because I don't like having one FOB in the first place at the moment. Maybe when connection issues are resolved I'll like the mechanic more, but it's frustrating being unable to actively defend my own base just because the servers seem to be fucking up from the launch week overload.
It is pretty dumb that MB coins are even a thing, though. Should just be a big resource charge.
Wow, I just ran over a soldier with my jeep, and when he was writhing in pain, I got out, slowly walked over to him, and shot him in the head. I think I deserve an instant demon horn for that.
Please tell me there is [sp]a sword to go with the Gray Fox costume[/sp]
I think you'd actually get more demon points for letting him bleed to death, I remember that being a heroism dropper in Peace Walker.
God, it's so hard to get fuel resources. I have a fuck ton of everything else except fuel.
