Tried it the first time I fought him
[sp]It does nothing at all, Ocelot just says that it's not enough or something like that[/sp]
[sp]Someone said it works if you do it like 50+ times. Not sure if it's true or not. [/sp]
Give it time, you probably destroyed them recently and it needs a while to respawn. Its a funny thing to happen on your first playthrough, not so much on subsequent.
I've only done it once and I'm already on mission 16. They sure are thaking their time with it.
Still doesn't work for me, and I'm on the beta.
Could you tell me what's happening when you launch and give me your C:\Windows\system32\dxgi.dll
Is there a list of every R&D unlock + Requirements?

Is this it?

I would click it but don't want to spoil anything.
FOB is so bad i deleted my save file
Man, I feel horrible when I'm about to clear a Soviet checkpoint and hit the last dude in the shoulder instead of his head with my sniper rifle.
Poor fucker started mumbling as he bled out so I put him to sleep with the Wu. Moments later a truck arrived and found him, making me legitimately hope he survived...
This is probably the first game in a very long time where I genuienly care what happens to some of the opponents. (Not counting the PMC's because they're horrible people that choose to be in a combat zone. :v:)
Also, someone here said that doing non-lethal runs makes you miss out on so many things. I myself mostly go non-lethal because that's what GZ taught me (lethal = bad score) but can you infact get good scores lethally if you are precise/quick when killing?
I've got the same reaction towards the enemies.
I always sneak and never kill in Afghanistan because I'd feel bad killing those silly cheeki breekis who just follow orders.
However, I go full Rambo in Angola. Fuck the PMCs and fuck those assholes who enslave children and throw them on the front lines for their own profit.
Just finished mission 30 without getting caught at all, no kills. [sp]Got a B rank for taking so long. :V[/sp]
Also, [sp]Skull Face went full-on ham movie villain near the end. "This lust for revenge! WHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOO!!"[/sp]
(MGSV Ending spoilers) [sp]Is there no way to get Quiet back as a buddy?[/sp]
the ranking system is so botched. i consecutively just s ranked three missions in a row while running around and killing everyone
ak47 master race
I get that being in a APC will lower your risk of being detected since you're incased in armor and there's no way for them to see your face but.. I wanted to go on a rampage at that time and drove into a base and started shooting people. After killing like 2-3 guys noone calls in the radio that there's enemy fire, at that point I decided to stop shooting and drive near these guys, no response. Someone finally finds a dead body and calls it in and now everyones alerted, I'm thinking finally the fun can begin! I start shooting again. No reactions from the enemy, they just ignore me as I pass by them, they even outright ignore me as they witness me blow their friend up with the autocannon.
???
Yeah I regret getting into the FOB system, I feel like in a week everything will be gone :v:

ANIME WRITING
honestly the whole car ride was embarassing just because the dialogue can't get any more cornball
"TEN MINUTE MONOLOGUE WITH PLENTY OF TIME FOR YOU TO INTERJECT AND CALL ME OUT FOR BEING AN IMMENSE FAGGOT I'm such a great villan!!!"
Sadly, FOBs don't have separate resources. People can fulton out all your shit, and the second you come back online, the game reflects this. Arguably a better system would be for FOBs to have their own resources and staff, but whatever.
haha holy hell, even less reasons to put mgs5 out of firewall block list
I guess it'd be alright to have FOB work as an additional MB that can be raided, but whatever is raided is just stuff you wouldn't have if not for the FOB, so you're only losing a bonus. But if the FOB defense is so silly with AI being bad no matter what ranks or alert level you put, and it's easy to bankrupt someone
oh well, with so many months left till PC MGO I can only hope they're actually going to work on that online component
I don't get why you guys are going through all the trouble with firewalling it or whatever. there's a disconnect button in the main menu when you load up your save?
anyway you just stick all of your shitty extra soldiers on the security detail so even if you do get raided you just lose your guys plus whatever little resources are on it. FOBs are amazing solely because you can house more fuckers. that's all it's for: just so you can get your staff ratings higher

i'm too lazy to get through 30 messages every time I launch the game
and putting something on a firewall list isn't problematic whatsoever wtf
Ok so I blew up everything in C2W to the point where I couldn't play the mission any more and the rank it gave me was "--"
but I went back to it and got an S rank but it didn't change. Does anyone have an issue like this?

who closes their game
i just let it run in the background because obviously it was such a great idea to make items take two hours to research
can they just make a mobile app so you can continue with the metagame bull without having the game left on? i feel bad for console players
The game actually forced me into the FOB system.
I decided "hey, I'm going to go online to get my bonus", and as soon as I went into my iDroid, it forced me to do a tutorial on how to build FOBs that I COULD NOT LEAVE. It wouldn't let me close the iDroid at all. I had to go through with it.
And then, it forced me to go through a training mission with my own FOB.
At this point, I really don't care about my FOB. If someone invades it, they can have my shit there. I really don't care.
Also [sp]Just to clarify, Missions 30 and 31 are the final missions, right? Just curious as I'm hearing things about "Mission 41 has this key bit" or how Mission 51 was cut from the game and explains a lot.[/sp]

yeah honestly it feels retarded, on one hand it makes the game "progress" somewhat by not giving you everything instantly at once, on another hand thats what the resource requirments are for - the game has so many artificial limits it's not even funny at this point, and it's a bloody aaa+ game that requires resources even in the ACC when running in background
apperantly you can speed it up with cheat engine's speedhack modifier tho

Short answer: [sp]_____noo_____[/sp]
furthermore: [sp]there's chapter 2 after the bossfight with sahalenthropous, with even more story development. There are ~50 missions overall, including mission repeats on different settings (eg. one of the first repeating missions is the famous C2W, but on "subsistence" mode - where you dont get jack shit and have to procure everything on-site[/sp]
Wait, I found other thing that really grinds my gears.
MGSV lacks additional content to unlock. While PW had fucking Pooyan, Monster Hunter and shit TPP only has - fulton one guy, fulton tank with squad, fulton a bear or find blueprints.
No T-shirt uniform, no swimsuits and too few codec dialogs.
Water gun is cool though.

you could say that. the rest of the missions are just kind of tacked on last minute for the most part but they stay fairly fresh irregardless of their repeated nature

I've lost A+ soldiers that weren't even on the security team. Shit is fucked.

yeah but the game had like another year's worth of developing to it at least. a whole continent got cut and the chapter 2 missions are just extreme versions of earlier missions because they didn't have the time to make fresh locales or whatever to host them in
it's weird though because there's some areas in both afghanistan and africa that aren't even really touched at all. especially in afghanistan. there's a whole barracks that only has like one side ops missions in it the whole time
also olive drab sanek is best sanek. it just feels like he has way more detail in his od green outfit than in any other. i guess because it's so clean
ON MY WAY TO GETTING THE BIGGEST HORN
I have a friend who says his FOB still gets invaded even after choosing to disconnect in-game. According to him everything regarding FOB's just doesn't fucking work and it's a huge mess.
I don't know personally yet because I have yet to be invaded despite playing this game constantly.
Just to confirm with this FOB shit, as long as I don't go online I won't lose anything at all?
So some guy invades my FOB, and I turn off all my cheats/trainers to fight him.
Turns out I think he was using the same darmn trainer as me.
Why are you even using a trainer to begin with? Unless you already finished the game and you're just messing around now.
