Ah, so [sp]Missions 30 and 31 aren't the final missions. Nice to know. Do the missions afterwards have some big revelations to them though?[/sp] Also, feel free to spoil this for me, but [sp]what's this "burger plot" that I keep hearing about with Kaz? Is it a side op I have to obtain, or just some sort of cassette tape?[/sp]
Oh thank god Sorry kids, gonna carry your AKs for a bit longer
You can also throw them in a vehicle and then fulton the vehicle. You can fulton 3 at a time that way.
I convinced my girlfriend that Snake was dead and that Pliskin was someone else and I was so determined about it she thought it was another Snake brother first and then a liquid ocelot type of Pliskin having one of Solids limbs situation. However watching me play V she's now developed a crush on BB. Can't say I blame her :v:
Man, what if that was the twist of the game, that Plisken really was this separate guy who had his arm replaced with Snake's, and so his spirit lived on in him. A spirit brother vs spirit brother fight would have been stupidly amazing
Imagine if Solid, Liquid and Solidus all actually had one big showdown, instead of [sp]Soldius being tossed into a fire, and Liquid being a false persona of Ocelot's gambits as he has an admittedly-epic fist fight with Solid.[/sp]
what's the best way to beat the [sp]quiet sniper mission thing on extreme. i've heard getting a tank works well, this true?[/sp]
Use the [sp]Rocket Arm. She'll lose all fatigue in 5ish shots[/sp]
Imagine if Solid, Liquid and Solidus all actually had one big showdown, instead of [sp]Soldius being tossed into a fire, and Liquid being a false persona of Ocelot's gambits as he has an admittedly-epic fist fight with Solid.[/sp]
Wait, do you mean Solidus [sp]as he's depicted in MGS4 before being set on fire, cause I don't think he would win the fight.[/sp]

That being said, I would have preferred Liquid actually possessing Ocelot's body over what they made up in 4.[/sp]
So I just did mission 41 or 43 (can't remember which.) and right after the mission [sp]Eli stole Sahelanthropus.[/sp] and now I'm stuck. I don't have any yellow missions or yellow sidequests to go do. I just went and did a side ops and I've been visiting motherbase repeatedly. I also gave [sp]Paz all the photos I've gotten (I've done 10 of the wandering mother base soldier side ops.)[/sp] Any non-spoiler tips? Or should I just keep doing side ops and the extreme/stealth/etc missions?
Just keep doing Side Ops
[sp]First, I don't think Solidus should have fought Solid and Liquid- his relationship with Raiden was very Big Boss vs Snake, and having Raiden take him down was better. But still, all you get [sp]is a single Harrier fight and Liquid Ocelot being a cunt about Solid Snake being there, and that's ultimately it.[/sp]
[sp]removes your FOB just straight up removes it don't attack people with nukes[/sp]
holy shit can you defuse/take it from THEIR base?
[sp]removes your FOB just straight up removes it don't attack people with nukes[/sp]
(endgame post Mission 31 FOB spoilers) [sp]Something's got me confused about this whole thing. I'm unable to invade anyone with nukes, period. So I assumed you needed hero status to even try. According to RichyZ earlier, hero status prevents retaliation with nukes. This obviously does not add up. I'm probably never going to attack a nuclear player just in case. Also is nuclear retaliation a choice? Like, if I built nukes and someone earned my retaliation with them, could I just say no? I don't want to be a dick and wipe out a player's FOB, but I'd also like to reduce the invasions on my FOB.[/sp]
Random question for those who are playing on PC, (spoiled because it relates to a story element) [sp]Did any of you get a massive slowdown before the most recent patch in the cutscene with Code Talker after beating the Skulls in the airfield? My FPS is usually consistently at 60 FPS, but when that cutscene was going on, it dropped to like 13 FPS whenever I looked at Code Talker, and 33 FPS when I looked away. I don't have Vsync on.[/sp] Oh, and has anyone found a way to disable the game's post process AA yet? I know it was possible in GZ, and I'd like to use a better form of AA than the game's without the side effects of throwing AA on top of another AA.
What am I missing for attaching underbarrel weapons? I got the UB conversion and weapon customization but I can't seem to attach them anywhere
question for those who have completed the game about end gamish stuff - I have just received the first mission for africa, so please keep answers spoiler free: initially I figured that I'd spend this game doing more lethal play, but have found that non-lethal still feels more compelling at the moment. however, I really wanted to do more lethal stuff in the beginning - now having seen from a few pages back that your actions do (in some part) appear to affect what custscenes you see, are any of them impactful enough that I'm missing out by not playing lethally? I don't really "rp" per say but I tend to play the way the game encourages you to - that is, non-lethally and with as much stealth as possible. however I really want to see bb's fall into madness, but repeatedly I can't push myself to actually start killing instead of just knocking out / holding up enemies. is there a part where you start wanting to kill just as a player, and are there story/gameplay rewards for doing so? [editline]7th September 2015[/editline] i've been playing pretty much constantly since release but because i've been doing every side op as it becomes available i've been doing the main missions pretty rarely lol
~stuff~
Nah, just play how you feel you want to. Don't try and choose your play style on what you think would make the most canonical sense. I played entirely non-lethal and it made no difference.

This is to prevent new players from getting fucked up by messing with things they don't understand. It's a retaliation option. It's not automatic, you'll need to push the button.[/sp] [editline]whoops almost forgot[/editline] [sp]Though 150k heroism limit is probably revoked if you have nukes yourself, since your heroism'll tank anyway. I'm fairly convinced that Peace Walker has done side ops a lot better. I've not started chapter two yet but it feels like the game has outstayed its welcome, might need a break for a few days before i dig into it.
I have a question for people who play the PC version. So the game runs silky smooth on the highest settings, but when i add words in the emblem editor it completely torpedos the performance and it stutters like crazy. But when i exit the emblem editor everything is perfect again. This happens to anyone else?
Man I can't wait until winter when I can get this game and join you all in the fun. Hopefully by then we'll have more information on if there is going to be a fix to the missing story or more additions

So my local eb had a collectors edition no one knew about. I returned my copy and snatched it up. Only problem. Is there's literally no code anywhere inside either case or the box, how do I access my in game rewards?
Theres some weird shit going on /v/ right now. People are talking about MGSV and MGS5 are different games, and MGS5 will be a game about the 6 aborted fetuses from Les Enfant Terribles
Is [sp]going bankrupt[/sp] difficult :v:? Also I feel like deleting my save, I've gotten really far into the game but the whole Online [sp]FOB[/sp] thing sucks. I might finish the game on this save though. I regret [sp]building that stupid thing so much[/sp].

Apparently, other players can nuke them, and it wipes out your FOB completely.[/sp] It still annoys me that the game literally forced me to build an FOB and do the training mission the last time I decided to go online. I thought the game would just mention it and fully leave it up to you to build one, but nope. I guess at least the first one was free though...
So I'm spotted through a solid floor in an FOB infiltration, and then I'm told this Combat Deployment which takes nearly 3 hours and has an 80% chance of success has failed FOR THE SECOND TIME IN A ROW I've about had enough of this bullshit yo
I hope my soldiers will be fine, I built the thing seeing as I wanted to get the extra benefits from it in the SP mode. I've been playing the game Offline so far as I don't care about this stuff, I'll keep playing Offline again.

Do emergency alerts only pop up when first entering a new map? It's really goddamn annoying to get an alert every time I deploy somewhere. It'd be fine if I could just respond from there, but having to go back to the ACC to even have a SLIM CHANCE of being deployed to defend someone's base is goddamn horrible. All that GMP and materials wasted for deployment just to end up disconnecting from the alert session. Can I just wait in the ACC and eventually get an alert? It seems like it stops checking after the initial load in. Such a pain in the ass.
i'm trying to get the butterfly codename but it keeps giving me fox instead do i have to get myself detected on purpose so i can get butterfly?
