Any advice on doing the [sp]Quiet sniper battle[/sp] on Extreme? I did it with a sniper in the regular mission, but that's simply not possible on Extreme. And dropping supplies doesn't work either.
[sp]Take cover behind something that you can pop out of, tap the aim button so you expose yourself for a split second. This causes her to shoot at you and miss which gives you a small 2 second window to shoot back at her (Works best with a sniper rifle). Once you hit her, she'll try to relocate to another position which is when you would try your best to track her movements through your sniper scope and be ready to shoot her immediately after she sets up again. If you miss the opportunity, just repeat the first step.[/sp]
IS there a way to see all the animals you've rescued?
They should show up in the animal platform right?
They should show up in the animal platform right?
well shit there's an animal platform? I've been spending a lot of time in free roam to gather resources and not doing the main missions
How and where can I steal some APC's and tanks? Do I need to use gas grenades to clear them first?
Sneak up behind them.
Do the heavy infantry side ops and tank units.
I drove a jeep off a cliff near an outpost and it hit something and took enough damage to start a fire, and every soldier in that outpost carefully walked towards the burning jeep to investigate
outpost captured

Check the encyclopedia in your iDroid's Mother Base tab

I had a soldier almost spot me and run to investigate once. Stepped on one of their own landmines.
The others just pretended they didn't hear or see the explosion.

I once shelled an outpost with fire support just to clear it faster. Killed everyone except one asshole sleeping in the back that I didn't notice, who got up and then started sprinting back and forth endlessly like he was shitting his pants on hyper speed.
And he was behind the bulletproof camp canopies, so I had to pull out my sniper rifle for that one.
Am I the only one who, in Episode 16, just fultoned the truck and ran away?
It worked like a charm, and I got S rank.
I made a new emblem

I just found out (fairly big spoiler) [sp]The Cobra Unit from MGS3 were created with the same parasites the Skulls have.[/sp] :mindblown:
Welp. I'm going deeper.

I'm pretty sure this game has given me both a phobia of, and a prejudice against, [Major Plot Spoilers] [sp]people who speak Kikongo[/sp]
If there's one thing that bites into my deployment planning, it's GMP costs. Later in the game when you've got lots of upgrades for your chopper and probably enough weapons to fit almost any situation at high ranks, a single deployment can cost tens of thousands easily, which can start cutting into profits from side-ops and collecting. If you just want to dick around in free roam and don't do any collecting at all, you've basically wasted GMP for that trip, and almost every little thing in the game seems to add or remove GMP. It helps feel like you have an organization to run, but after a point it just seems more like additional busywork if all your developing projects have kept your base's funds relatively low.
it's fine because i'm sure you don't know anyone that does

I did it, like a fucking champ! Non-lethally, too. That [sp]Sniper Wolf costume[/sp] is amazing.
Does it matter how I finish mission 40?
[editline]5th September 2015[/editline]
Cause I got this plan.

I wish I knew about the [sp]Butterfly emblem[/sp] trick beforehand.

What? Tell me now
Imagine if Sahelanthropus was in Metal Gear Rising? Oh god.

[sp]Wait what? Is this the mission it's supposed to prevent? I thought it was side op 150. Do I lose quiet now?[/sp]
[sp]Wait what? Is this the mission it's supposed to prevent? I thought it was side op 150. Do I lose quiet now?[/sp]
[sp]Side op 150 is the mission that triggers the entire chain of events leading up to losing her. I believe you have to add the butterfly to your emblem before 150 even becomes available for you to prevent losing Quiet.[/sp]

If MGR2 is a thing you know that something like it is going to show up.

With Platinum Games I wouldn't be surprised if Raiden fucking sticks his cyborg body into a cockpit and pilots a Metal Gear in an even more crazy and insane battle than the one in [sp]MGS4[/sp]
The servers behind FOBs are amazing. I just tried to train on my own FOB.
"FOB is already being invaded"
i just got fultoned out of a guy's base
FOB is the best aprt of this game, this rules
the moment im able to do FOB's is the moment everyones shit starts becoming my shit.
