Fulton it.

Get a horse or DD infront of it for a temporary solution
I convinced my girlfriend that Snake was dead and that Pliskin was someone else and I was so determined about it she thought it was another Snake brother first and then a liquid ocelot type of Pliskin having one of Solids limbs situation.
However watching me play V she's now developed a crush on BB. Can't say I blame her :v:

Please tell us what he says when he sees Plisken.
My goal is to convince him that they were running out of money so they just used a similar model and voice actor.
Traitor's Caravan is rather aggravating. [sp]every time I try to fulton the damn truck they cut it down, but it's not fast enough to drive away without getting one-shotted by the skulls. The one time I got it out they two-shotted the tank I was in and stranded me far enough away that I got riddled with shots before I could get out of the hot zone.[/sp]
The tiny circles are probably just the weird dotty digital comic thing that Kojima's had for transparency when you walk up to a wall or whatnot since MGS4.
Yes, its that exact effect thing! Just remembered it was in MGS4 aswell...
Its basicaly the only thing that bugs me, along with that other stuff, and it doesn't even annoys me all that much. Even considering not getting a new PC or a PS4, and rerouting money towards myself, like necessary stuff....
well, stuff that is more necessary than metal gear, like food and clothes and saving towards my own car

sounds like a bad porno already
I've reached the true ending and listened to everything I needed to in order to learn everything.
My thoughts (Spoilers, obviously, for people who reached the final ending of the game) :
[sp] I'm sitting here leaning back and pondering if I'm actually satisfied with any of this or not. Chapter 1 was really awesome, fun, and compelling and I enjoyed Skull Face as a villain. Then we hit Chapter 2 and I start seeing the signs of an unfinished and cut up project that got left to sit and thrown forward in hopes it will be enough. We're left with many unsolved plot strings and an almost isolated story that only clears up a few plotholes from the Metal Gear games only to make more in the process. No real finale to Eli and Sahel (even Episode 51 cut video really brought no satisfying closure), we get some warnings from Code Talker to keep an eye on Kaz and that gets dropped almost immediately, and the main theme of the game and Chapter 1 (language and how it constructs or deconstructs society) gets pushed away by Chapter 2 and forgotten except for research talk via cassette tapes. Worst of all is we don't get a story of THE Big Boss [/sp]
[sp] No, instead, we have the story of a phantom Big Boss, Venom Snake, and how he in all reality is an O.K. guy. No cutscene or event pushes this man on the edge to become a hateful villain. He does his job and he looks after the soldiers who he sees as his sons and daughters, his 'Diamonds'. If we wanted to look at a real villain in the series out of the main cast other than Skull Face we could look at Huey who is the ultimate piece of shit. We don't see anything of the Real B.B. until the end and he leaves to work on Outer Heaven. We already knew this info and all the game serves to do is explain why we kill Big Boss twice in MG1 and MG2 and we get an explanation of why there are two Outer Heavens/Mother Bases. I don't hate what we got but I do feel we didn't get the entire meal that Kojima wanted us to have in the first place. I can see the hands of Konami muddying this project all over. At the same time, I can't act like Kojima is blameless here. Even if Kojima had all the time and money to work on MGSV, it seems from the get go we were going to have this Phantom Snake plotline and I still feel it wouldn't have really gone in a direction we were hoping. [/sp]
[sp] If anything the complete MGSV would have been perfect to setup for a sixth installment. For what, exactly? Since we have a couple important questions answered about MG1 and MG2, we could finally have a game that focuses on Big Boss going off on his own to build and give birth to what becomes of Outer Heaven and Zanzibarland. We could get a game of him meeting Frank Jaegar and Sniper Wof and training her and how he earns the name "Saladin". We would get to truly see this man become one vengeful and villainous bastard who wanted to get back at Zero and how far he goes to do it in detail. Something to truly tie it all up and let the series go out with a bang. Our journey with the Man Who Sold the World. Due to recent events, I am unsure if we'll get to see a Metal Gear Solid 6 and if it will even attempt to delve into that sort of story. We'll have to see. All in all, I really love this game but damn do I feel some disappointment with its story. At least I got countless hours of Ocelot  [/sp]
In an attempt to go full nuclear I stopped taking showers and ended up getting the you stink cutscene :v:
Mission 13 bug, want to hear if anyone else have experinced the same.
After you get out of the first village area and past the first guard outpost, the game pretty much fast forwards me into the target mission area and plays the small scene where you [sp]turn off the oil pump thing and see the body's in the oil[/sp]

[sp]really annoys me that the trailers are all cut in such a way that they show BB killing/recruiting child soldiers and getting an almost cult following with his diamond dogs and forming outer heaven with a bunch of fanatics, but the worst thing he really does in the game is some morally ambiguous shit. Like for fucks sake, it's a game that was sold as big bosses villain story, and we get bonus points and rewards for doing heroic stuff and helping out animals[/sp]
[editline]8th September 2015[/editline]
[sp]also that fucking paz scene in the trailer, as well as the clones of big boss tease with all the zero dialogue, but instead that only shows up in an audio recording and a weird fever dream big boss had while he had the flu[/sp]
Is there no David bowie in this game
Is anything off of diamond dogs in heee
[sp] In a perfect world, I would've loved if part 1 was all about skull face and language and creating diamond dogs/the start of outer heaven and part 2 was fleshed out and was all about BB and diamond dogs lust for revenge turning them into really scummy villains and tearing their lives apart (instead of just kaz being mad all the time[/sp]

Theres a cover of The Man Who Sold The World but i think thats it.
Does anyone know what specifically triggers [sp]Huey's exile and Quiet's disappearance? [/sp] I appear to be stuck.
Ok guys I'm going to ask a potentially offensive question
Is it really worth playing through all of the MGS games in order? I have never played a Metal Gear game before and I've been meaning to try it out for a long time. Honestly I kind of want to jump on The Phantom Pain hype train before it leaves the station, but I feel like I'd be lost without catching myself up a bit first. I just started on MGS 1 and I'm enjoying it for the most part, but it's really dated and at this rate it'll be a while before I get to MGS V.
Playing all of the previous games first is probably major overkill, but this shit is so involved that I feel like I'd be robbing myself of something if I didn't

This is before including the pile of content and features shown that were snipped making it even more frustrating.

That would have been perfect. In fact: [sp] I was expecting Kaz's paranoia would be the catalyst for that. Instead we get 'Kaz Learns a Lesson Of Life from Not Big Boss' and also 'Kaz Now Likes Not Big Boss more than Real Big Boss' [/sp]
I found a really nice avatar.
I'm a real soldier now.

You're free to watch the movies that are made out of all the games on youtube. I would point at KefkaProductions specifically. From there you can read up on the wiki whatever you'd like and then jump into MGSV. It's how I did it and I would consider myself caught up and knowledgeable of the series enough like anyone who played it. It's a good alternative if you are unable or don't want to play the games.

The Phantom pain pretty much has story elements from all 6 main entries so you might be a little lost
Does anyone know what specifically triggers [sp]Huey's exile and Quiet's disappearance? [/sp] I appear to be stuck.
I think you need to [sp]Max quiet's effection or whatever. Also do all (Non-repeat) missions and Yellow Side-Ops[/sp]
If you've done that, just keep doing any side ops, it should trigger.

I'm stuck again [sp] I just did the "we'll turn them into diamonds" thing but now I can't get anymore story missions. Am I suppose to get my R&D and medical up? I know someone got Paz before this so how do I get Paz?[/sp]

[sp]Just keep doing Side ops until something new comes up. Also Paz is in a blue door on the med platform[/sp]
[sp]Wow fuck Huey and to think I believed him[/sp]
I found a ton of the story threads just kinda slapped in? [sp] Okay, so, we've got Huey, let's learn that he's a bastard, okay fine, sure, but he's just kinda... around just for Kaz to scream at him, until they realize that they should have used him more.
Then there's Eli, fucking Eli, you know, LIQUID SNAKE, a character who is probably the most important character in the majority of the solid series? Oh yeah, gets like two lines outside of his bossfight, great, this is supposed to help us understand him more? Okay, he was a child soldier, but the whole past of Liquid Snake was defined by him knowing his heritage and knowing what he has to live up to, while subsequently having a dark history with his 'father'.
Wait wait no, in MGSV let's have Liquid's only interaction with Boss be getting punched a couple of times, and then getting rescued out of a shithole in the middle of Africa to a completely livable army platform. Something that allowed him to eventually grow up into a soldier for a proper army, with an actual life, instead of dying in the middle of a warzone. That is the entire extent of Liquid's interaction with boss. Seriously?[/sp]
holy shit the quiet fight on extreme is REALLY hard
(post mission 28? spoilers)
[sp]Man, that whole quarantine phase was painful. I lost about 90 men, two A++ and a few A+ in there. Could have been worse I suppose, I caught on to the whole deal at the end of the code talker mission of course, put all my Kikongo dudes away from each team which took a solid 10 minutes. Now that they're all back and cured I used auto sort but now there's no-one in my security team because they all got assigned to other departments due to the missing soldiers, great. I suppose that's a good thing, like someone said earlier?
Pretty good design though, dealing with an infectious disease which kills off your men every now and then is pretty terrifying[/sp]
I went to the medical platform to go see Quiet because Ocelot told me to but instead of finding her room, I found [sp]Paz[/sp] This game is crazy.
The first Salenthropus fight was funny. I ended up extracting literally right behind it

Are you letting Quiet tranq most of the guards?
