Anybody else wish to be able to change Quiet's hair to be down like it was at the beginning of the game?
[sp]Oh for fuck sake, Huey. One fuck up after another.[/sp]
Daily Reminder (Big Spoilers)
[sp]Fuck Huey[/sp]
[sp] I wanna send a helicopter over and play "YOU'RE A HORRIBLE PERSON" over his head in repeat.[/sp]
Also, does anyone feel like there should have been more hero/demon choices in the game? Some things like what happens to [sp]huey[/sp] or how you choose to kill [sp]skullface[/sp].
I always thought it was gonna be more of, side with miller, become a demon. Side with ocelot, stay like the boss from mgs3.
Mission 31 spoilers
[sp]I was doing great, really enjoying the boss battle, figured out MG:S' weak point and hopped in a tank, drove it off a cliff, made a mad dash to a second tank and nearly died to minigun fire getting into it, rust bomb went off but my tank survived, some really cool moments
Had to go on foot and fire rockets after that tank eventually went down, alright. Got it down to 5% life, one more rocket should do it. I've survived the spikes, the miniguns and the spike bombs, what else could it throw at me in the these last few seconds? The answer: itself. It jumped on my head for an instakill. Fuck[/sp]
Kaz...
I'm already a Skeleton.

How the hell do you S rank fucking mission 5.
[sp]I was just about to get to the cutscene where the skulls show up and as the mist is appearing (where I cant fucking controll anything) an enemy spots me and I cant get him before he alerts. Fucking game bullshitting me out of it.[/sp]
5K points lost shouldnt be enough to lose the S rank right?
a certain scene in the game makes me miss Big Boss's Humor.
During Huey's Battle Gear speech to save his own ass the first time...
"Kaz, I'm having Deja Vu, here."
I also wanted snake to ask, "How does it taste?", about an animal either in cut scene or cassette form.
Personally I prefer using explosives. A well place grenade will also knock them clean out.
Decoys are god. They will knock out anyone and make little noise.
Man on Fire spoilers:[sp]So what the fuck was the point of them getting Volgin's corpse if they are going to just leave it to rot on the Quarantine strut? I went over to Quarantine after getting the corpse ages ago, and it's still just chillin' there.[/sp]
Just finished episode 28. Are there more in-door areas? The outside is cool and all, but it's starting to feel "same-y".

Just imagine every time you use the Rocket Punch he just loudly yells and alerts everyone in the camp. Geez these are gold.

Because like 3/4 of the plot threads in this game go nowhere.
Ten years late by now, but I didn't think this game would satisfy my Starship Troopers obsession but it did. G44 with the grenade launcher (would have went shotgun, but its fucking ugly without a pump) and helicopter music set to this

non-canon music? psh

What is the point in cutting these? They actually give him more dialogue than he has in the current game
I'm at mission 30 now with everything except two missions S ranked and I have to say, it really starts getting interesting around mission 25
but one thing I miss is Co-Op
imagine how stupidly awesome it would be to have friends join your session on a long roadtrip across Afghanistan

Why is rocket punch there? I've heard him yell it.
I think I found a plot hole in PW concerning Love deterrence. How does Paz learn how to sing in Japanese without an accent?
Why is rocket punch there? I've heard him yell it.
There's quite a few things I've heard him say ingame that are in the list, like the HAAAAAA yell is from the maxed stun arm fully charged.
Alright, mission 31 complete and LORD (mission 31 onwards spoilers) [sp]Chapter 2 looks EXCELLENT. I'm glad I saw people talking about a second chapter in this thread since I would have felt cheated once the credits came up. I'm ready for shit to get real, does shit get even more real? How is chapter 2 compared to 1, no spoilers of course? I'm debating whether I should go back and S-rank all the chapter 1 missions[/sp]

and to add to this - joke codec calls and cassettes
The humor department seems to be in short supply so far
well, compared to PW and MGS3
I'm on that mission with quiet, and I have one thing to say.

It really is a shame how little Big Boss talks. For the most part I can kinda just go with it, but one part in particular really pissed me off (Mission 30-31 spoilers) [sp]Finally, we get to talk to Skullface instead of him just getting pissy and trying to kill Big Boss. But wait, no, all that happens is that Skullface has a (enjoyable) monologue that goes on for a good 5+ minutes, during which time Big Boss does not say anything, nor has any visible reaction. Then we have a really odd scene wherein "Sins of the Father" plays while Big Boss and Skullface have a staring contest (seriously, should have been a cutscene while that song played instead of a static camera). THEN Psycho Mantis takes control of the Metal Gear and wipes out everyone in the area and chases Big Boss down...and again, at no point does he speak or change his facial expression to something other than total stoicism. Really took me out of an otherwise awesome 15 minute series of events.[/sp]

I thought that scene was one of the best scenes in the entire game. It reminded me sort of:

Also currently trying to [sp]max out my demon points for the big horn. I don't want to go online and waste resources to build nukes so burning enemy soldiers is the best way, right?[/sp]

When I did that mission it just completely disappointed me massively.

Also HAIDARAAAAA from using the Jehuty. Some UI actions are in there as well but I don't think they're in the game.

Yeah, it might be because I was in a bad mood after fucking up mission 30 so hard [sp](got past 2 gates then first I got spotted putting someone into a dumpster, and then I got spotted by a sniper while hiding deep inside cover somehow. Ended up with a C-rank) But I enjoyed the dialogue, I was just drawn out by Snake's acting. I moved the camera over Snake's shoulder to put the focus on skullface and it improved things
Really though, part of Snake's animation on the back of that jeep is looking around and not at skullface, so at one point when skullface said something we'd heard in trailers that was really powerful, Snake was like "ooh what's over here? the road we were just driving on". I think when sins of the father starts playing, Skullface is the one that should be nonchalantly and confidently looking around, while if you turn the camera on Snake you should have been able to see him grit his teeth or clench his fist every now and then, or at least look like he's attempting to process SF's newly revealed master plan in his head[/sp]

Lots of spoilers marked 'end of game' in reply to yours, I guess I'll wait until I've completed the game to pass final judgement on how Snake acts in the game
