just noticed [t]http://i.4cdn.org/vg/1441823727867.png[/t] [sp]Big boss still has a robot arm in the trailer on the motorbike. Idk if they were trying to keep it a secret or if they changed the twist ending near the end of development[/sp]
[sp]This isn't the first time a Metal Gear game has had false and misleading marketing. There where a few scenes in some of the old MGS2 trailers that where either completely made up or changed from how they appeared in the finished gane to make it look like you where going to play as Snake instead of Raiden.[/sp]
IDK if anyone else feels this, but I can't help but feel that [sp]Kojima basically went "fuck it" and poured all the insane fan-theories into the actual plot. Because honestly, the big twists are a massive carnival of stupid that should have stayed fan theories.[/sp] [sp]Like, Venom being the real Big Boss instead would have changed NOTHING in the Pre-Mission 46 plot. It's just sort of dumped in. The "hints" ultimately worthless, since the AI Pod could have been bugged out anyway with the corpse inside it. The entire plot ultimately accomplishes NOTHING, and leaves Outer Heaven's founding a complete enigma still. How did Big Boss go and make it, WHY did he make it? The important Hows and Whys that Kojima advertised this as answering are left blank, and all we know is that Big Boss spent 11 years off screen making it. Somehow.[/sp]

MGSV is clearly rushed, with entire plot and gameplay elements missing, so I wouldn't be surprised if at least part of the twist remained the same but the entire context and scenario was radically altered and revised due to time.[/sp]
Please guys, don't ignore my question, i need that track.
I have to agree, I need that song, too.
Has anyone tried setting FOBs to non lethal? I fought a few hackers, and while they couldn't take damage, they could die by falling and get stunned. Thankfully I always carry non lethal weapons, and that Stun Shotgun came really handy. One shot knocks them on their ass, and another shot when there on the ground stuns them.
what the fuck if you play the cassette of quiet humming it works like pentazemin and steadies your aim
same thing happens if you play the soldier shitting tape on speaker
what the fuck if you play the cassette of quiet humming it works like pentazemin and steadies your aim
All of the cassettes in that category of the idroid do something when played
http://ingsoc.org/ People are saying this relates to MGS in a way
timer ends on 9/11 game confirmed to be an origin story of sundowner
So I finished the story and [sp]I haven't found that scene from the trailer in which the MB soldiers are fighting and one of them pulls a knife. Is it in the game?[/sp]
Mission 29. Fuck. That. Took me over a dozen tries.
So I finished the story and [sp]I haven't found that scene from the trailer in which the MB soldiers are fighting and one of them pulls a knife. Is it in the game?[/sp]
Low morale cutscene
If you are having FOB problems, I feel bad for you son I got 99 problems but resources ain't one, infiltrate me.
So I finished the story and [sp]I haven't found that scene from the trailer in which the MB soldiers are fighting and one of them pulls a knife. Is it in the game?[/sp]
I got it really early in the game, it's probably if your morale gets too low
If you are having FOB problems, I feel bad for you son I got 99 problems but resources ain't one, infiltrate me.
ill take all that fuel, please and thank you.
wow S rank soldiers just grow on trees at a certain point past end game, this is ridiculous
ill take all that fuel, please and thank you.
Do some FOB Base development runs, it'll easily net you 10k at least. Don't go for the successful infiltration, just go HAM on the containers.
Am I missing something or the list of people you support can't be scrolled down? I know I'm supporting more people that is shown on the list because if I remove someone a new one pops up I don't know about the assault rifle in particular but have you checked weapon customization? Usually if you have the suppressor unlocked for the lethal version you can equip it on the non-lethal one way earlier than through the stock setups
Unfortunately this rifle doesn't allow the suppressor to be switched. Might just resort to a trainer... [editline]9th September 2015[/editline]
it would be absolutely shit balance if non-lethal weapons were anywhere near as good as lethal ones shitty suppressors doesn't really make much sense, though
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad for the challenge non-lethal weapons provide, I just wish you could switch the suppressor on the AR out for something that isn't shit. [editline]9th September 2015[/editline]
I guess my game is glitched because I was able to put a suppressor on a non-lethal AR early on and was able to upgrade it to a level 2 :v:
Hold on a tick, man. Which non-lethal AR is this? I may have completely missed something.
Holy crap, this is amazing. I just made it to [sp]Africa[/sp] and noticed that the enemy actually speaks correct [sp]Afrikaans, which is very similar to Dutch[/sp]. I can actually understand what they are saying. I don't actually need an interpreter :V
Same here. It was amazing for me. I do congratulate them for using actual Afrikaans voice actors instead of using French/Spanish. Though it is very silly cause it sounds like silly Dutch, even more then I get with Flemish/Belgian languages. But yeah I could understand 80% of the words.
The White Mamba mission is simply beautiful on many levels.
There's so many weapon upgrades and variants, but it all feels so.. time-wasting. Some weapons get notable upgrades as you add another rank ontop them, others just get a scope or some minor attachment which isn't even useful towards customization since it's the same as a scope some other weapon got. Some weapons get non-lethal variants or special properties only if you've got an extremely buffed R&D team, and you might not even see them until the damn endgame. And there's like 5 different variants of the goddamn default MRS, and 5 variants of the AM-D pistol. They could've easily avoided the needless clutter by not having the Gun Customization such a specific side-ops chore to get and letting the player specifically develop parts instead of unlocking them by proxy of weapons research.
Hold on a tick, man. Which non-lethal AR is this? I may have completely missed something.
so this is what i mean by glitch. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/5imuw95nog7pcp1/2015-09-09_16-17-09.jpg?dl=0[/t] the slots with X's still allowed me to customize any attachment i wanted :v:
And by testing out some trainer stuff, I've found out the hard way that particularly powerful weapons are locked from deployment use even after you build them early-game, although whether it's staff-related or otherwise i'm not sure. And yet other weapons are not - a goddamn anti-material rifle that kills in one shot and sends vehicles into a delayed blowing up state is perfectly fine to use in early-game despite breaking developments ahead of time, and yet a non-lethal tranquilizer sniper rifle is a no-go. [editline]9th September 2015[/editline] Also even if you use a trainer to unlock all developments and make them instant as well, it doesn't actually do so. Only a lot of the essentials R&D-based unlock, all the story-based stuff (like Bionic Arms) have to be unlocked the hard way still. :v:
also someone invaded my FOB while i wasn't playing apparently, but when i logged in it said defense successful i didn't even set up my defenses or anything yet :v:
[sp]Psycho Mantis is secretly part of Civil Protection[/sp] Edit: late
Something I only noticed while looking at screenshots, mission 20 spoilers - [sp]Ginger Mantis has facial flexes on the gasmask: http://horobox.co.uk/u/Ubermunchkin_1441897185.jpg http://horobox.co.uk/u/Ubermunchkin_1441850307.jpg[/sp]
[sp]It's actually Skull Face's mask, he does this multiple times throughout the story, it's some strange thing where he takes an element of someone in the cutscene, in those picture's it's skull face for example. If you look closely in the opening mission you can see that he even has BB's horn for a little bit.[/sp]
so this is what i mean by glitch. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/5imuw95nog7pcp1/2015-09-09_16-17-09.jpg?dl=0[/t] the slots with X's still allowed me to customize any attachment i wanted :v:
Can you show me how to do that, if you know?
Can you show me how to do that, if you know?
I didn't do anything. I just clicked the suppressor slot that had the red X over it and it allowed me to put a suppressor on anyway :v:
