Man, FOBs are so shit, and it was the one thing I was the most excited about before release. What a huge letdown. What was cool on paper and seemed pretty awesome in a scripted video turned out to be one of the game's various problems but especially one of the most glaring. FOBs aren't optional if you're online, which means you're prone to losing resources and men completely against your choice once one is made, even if offline. Attackers are probably going to win since FOB AI is dumber than even the main game AI, unless the Defending player (or a Support Defender) comes in to tear you a new asshole with what is probably going to be a rocket launcher or sniper rifle of some sort. The Defenders also get their respawns and invulnerability period after respawning right infront of the goal door Attackers are headed for. An Attacker could just troll the Defender by stealing as much shit as possible without hitting the goal so long as they don't die, but either way FOBs essentially devolve into a game of sneaky Whack-a-Mole with gigantic guns. Literally, all they had to do was make the damn feature truly and fully optional and it wouldn't be so problematic. That's not getting into the hackers who are likely just bringing cheat engine or trainers into the game too, I wouldn't be surprised if there's no anti-cheat and thus someone with a trainer could go into an FOB and royally fuck over everything if they were competent enough. Just like fucking GTAIV.

There is no anticheat. I was doing some tedious side ops shit, and had my trainer set me as undetected. Later on when the game FORCED me to build the FOB, I forgot I even had it on, so when I invaded someone because the game made me, I wasn't detected at all. Once I realized what went on, I jumped off. The trainer didn't make me invisible. Just made the AI blind.

Every 'notice' the AI has towards explosions, gunshots, sight or so forth has them just stand there and fucking do these weird ass idle animations like they're drunk and partying or something instead of getting alerted.

I like how there's an actual benefit to having carbine-style weapons in this game. If I'm infiltrating someone's FOB, I don't want long rifles, they'll just get caught on shit.

Ughhghguu the FOV so fucking bad. Is there a fix for it? I saw earlier someone made a fix, but it doesn't work with the current version anymore. Please help, the game is literally unplayable like this.
