we can never get the server up from a crash until I have to sleep therefore a days of work I could have done is gone if it crashes (part of the reason why I haven't built my homes exterior yet.)

Sorry for taking so long to reply, but I created an account for you under afromana (I Pm'd you a password, change it in your settings.) On the front page it says you can create an account by sending me an email. Currently working on a better system to get confirmation. The bots got really out of control.

In the mean time, the FTB section isn't really complete and is still under construction, but hopes to remove templates for an easier-to-edit experience. As long as you read [url=http://fedorafellows.com/wiki/index.php?title=HumbleWiki:Policy]the policy[/url] and put ftb: in-front of your page name anything is acceptable.

Well I want to quarry and I tried finding an unoccupied space, but if where i did is bad, where can I? I'm sorry for making that above ground and ill fix it back if I get unbanned. And my house WOULD have an exterior by now but the crashes and my terrible connection (along with crash = can't play server for rest of day due to having to sleep) sort of delay it. I was almost ready to fix my house too.

Twilight forest is a better area to quarry, hills have plenty of resources, and there tends to be more stuff in general anyway.

The only problem with TF is that it's low ground and copper doesn't spawn there. I'm considering just going below the ground and quarrying? that's fine right, the landscape above will be unscathed.

okay since I'm terrabad at making houses look good and since my place is huge I don't want to do it manually either.
It's doable with a filler (placing right amount of specific resource in) but I am not sure how to make it look
I don't want it to be expensive (I have a shitton of iron though), and the reason I'm asking is because I am terrible at aesthetics.

I would consider using a tunnel bore instead of a quarry. Some set up time required but is well worth it.

I do not want to run the risk of ending up frame boring someones house. Also getting high up ores (tin/copper) is going to be hard if I want to get lapis/redstone too. (not so much hard as it is going to require forth/a HUGE one which I'm not going to do.)

Well copper / tin can be had centrifuging lava. Iron, gold, and diamonds can be have via enderpearls. And redstone, lapis, rubies, ferrous can be the tunnel bore job. And the power situation is easy, thermal generators. Lava is so easy it funny.

Perfectly reasonable. It takes so much time/ resources prepping it up. Lava is a amazing resource. Pump, mj power, 2 ender tanks, 2 energy tesseracts, and a tank. You got yourself reliable power and valuable resources.

Have you been my house? I have enough biofuel being generated to fuel about er, four 36hp boilers and still have a net gain of biofuel
that's a guess but I'm pretty sure it's accurate.

Just too intensive on resources (especially if I have to make it smoothstone etc.)

- any stone bricks/stone
- rubber wood
- jungle wood
- glass
