As far as most of us are concerned - it's not true.
Well the amount of machine changes and updates this update has,i think it will better to have a map rest rather than replacing shit load of lost stuff.
With all the updated stuff in 1.5.x I'll probably start over on a personal scale if we were to update to it, map reset or no.
I don't know if FTB Ultimate 1.5 will have Redpower...which will make some people cry.

There's no indication that Ultimate won't have it. The FTB team just said that [b]some[/b] pack might update without it.

Honestly we have no plan to reset the map anytime soon especially if there's no RP2 so don't worry about losing any of your stuff. They'll be releasing a small update to the current Ultimate pack but it will be for 1.4.7 as far as I'm aware and mostly for the separate mods having minor updates.

Bees are really hard to get into. I dont know why but forestry and bees in general is really big pain to start. I need to make a shit load of apiary's here soon for my bees. And the whole mutations and different species just makes a newbie procrastinate starting bees. Also i heard bees drain so much time out of playing it is ridiculous.

Is that all you need right currently? I got a few Bee machines in the factory, about 12. Use those for the advanced bee machines. I want these bees up ASAP.
My nuclear reactor is up and running finally. Do need to add a heat failsafe and then I can leave it running forever.

That's an inefficient design for that farm since every time a melon grows 4 stems attach to it, making them unable to grow more until it's harvested.

Think this is supposed to be a setup with speed of growth in mind, not the amount of melons to be grown at one time. Trying this out one time, there was always a melon somewhere in the farm. Adding xysoil to it makes it even quicker.

not gonna play until it's 1.0.2 or higher though, a lot of designs i have are centered around that (looking at you, MFR)
It is still 1.0.1 launcher wise but is different on the server I think.
I was playing earlier today and I walked past about 20 sheep and my frame rate dropped to zero. I am really not sure what happened. Did anyone else have any issues, or is it just me?
Holy shit. When i was out exploring looking for bees, I approaches a jungle not far from my own factory. I suddenly got a huge FPS Lag spike entering the jungle. I was timing out almost every second. But luckily I got a glimpse of why this was happening.

Lava. It is so efficient. Also if u have a lot of minium shards. You can macerate blaze powder and re transmutate it with the minium stone to get infinite blaze rods.

The straw golem runs around harvesting like crazy so that isn't much of an issue really.
Also it looks neat.
