In retrospect, my windmill looks even worse in the default textures.
So I had the misfortune of coming across quicksand covered in snow. I don't think there's a better example of pure evil. Luckily my friend was there to save me.

Server's shitting itself, it was acting weird for a while before crashing when I tried connecting two liquiducts.
It initially started when my client crashed when I placed an electronic furnace, after that, cables didn't connect properly, blocks didn't drop and everything in general just acting glitchy.
Have enough people started with bees that it's worth setting up a few trade stations?

Ahh yeah I couldn't get my rotary macerator to hook up to the MFSU I just built, it must have to do with that.
A useful tip to any players that have quad core
Open up task manager while FTB is running (ctrl+shift+esc). Go to Javaw.exe and check the affinity. If all 4 cores are checked then try only checking Core 1 and 2. This made my FPS so much better in FTB and im guessing explained why optifine never worked for me

Still doesn't mean Minecraft has multicore support. Just adds it to post process effects.

Can somebody suggest a way to fix this, those disappearing blocks have been refusing to reappear for days.
