Is there any way to get a node close to your base and actually keeping it there? It doesn't even have to be a big one. All the nodes in the remote area of my base have disappeared now so I can't do any thaumcraft related stuff. Pretty annoying.
silver something trees (the ones with the blue leaves and white bark) are a small thaumcraft node. Placing several together combines the nodes into a somewhat bigger one.

Yeah i know, but apparently the created node despawns after a server restart. All the nodes around my base disappeared, I tried moving one from outside the walls of my base with a Crystal Core which was a painfully slow process, that node disappeared before it even was in range. I build a node with a ton of silverwood saplings, disappeared too.
Now I have to go miles away to get some vis for my wand, which is rather annoying. I have some silverwood saplings left, but what's the point in planting them if the node isn't going to stay anyway.

I found one of these too. Mine contained roughly 300 buckets worth of oil so far in a chamber at the bottom, and I still haven't gotten around to installing a pump to get the rest of it. I think it'll be around 500 when it's all done.

Oh and if you've not noticed we've been having a lot of instability lately. Right now it's been put down to incompatibility between mods but we'll try to fix it as soon as we can (it has something to do with MCPC+).
