However, we will have public worlds such as the mining age for quarries. We may also bring the sky islands back. This is to reduce the amount of crashes and increase performance so it's beneficial overall.
And you'll still be able to make linking books! So don't worry about that. This only affects book binders from being crafted.

A mining age might not be required, because as mentioned the Deep Dark from Extra Utilities is an permadark, mainly cobblestone cave world, with double health, double damage enemies that spawn regardless of light levels. The world however also has double oregen to make up for that.

Double [I]vanilla[/I] oregen. Tin/copper/etc are untouched.
but all the mod ores are in there anyways I believe, so it still is a good spot to throw quarries in.
If you build a miner that automatically moves itself, it doesn't really matter how many ores are generated, you'll get a shit-load eventually.
why is TPS disabled can I ask? I want to see my tick delay but I can't because /tps doesn't work and the server lags like absolute ass for me (but works fine on most other servers)

tps is disabled for regular players because a lot of people like to spam chat with the tps when the server lags a tiny bit

at -224 +220 is an island. On that is an enchanting table thingy and the portal is on there (black with white swirly things). Just right click on it and there you go.

So a friend of mine can't update the Monster pack to 1.05. He reinstalled FTB completely and the launcher still won't show the 1.07 version. Is there a fix for this anywhere?
