Anyone having the server refuse to connect for the last 15 minutes?
My friend still hasn't been whitelisted even though he asked yesterday. I'd appreciate if he was added.
Well, it seems I broke myself. I join and I crash, and I believe it's the lever at the front of the thaumguild causing it because my client doesn't know what to do about the drawbridges interacting with the fake blocks created by paving stone of warding.
I entirely blame kiwi for setting them up in the first place.

Yeah, the Thaum Guild is fucked, anytime someone enters the area the server crashes.
So I had grandiose plans of playing minecraft again and doing mad nuclear reactors and wiring and railway switching and stuff like there used to be in Tekkit, and figured I may as well enjoy the company on a server whilst doing so - is that achievable on the server? Even if it requires a whole lot of mining?
I mean I've joined the server fine, and I can see the list of mods in the launcher, but it's hard to know which are the most important ones... judging by the odd post I've seen in this thread Railcraft is the main thing for automation and, well, rails? I've found the wiki for that, but are there any other crafting/explanation websites I should know about?

You should look into Thermal expansion, industrialcraft, and buildcraft for automation.

So, kind of a griefing report. I was being followed by some invisible dude(s), they were breaking grass and blocks around me. No big deal, found it kind of funny. But then he threw shit in my cauldron and created a bunch of taint. Right now, not really a huge deal, but I have no idea how to remove it, and honestly it's kind of a dick move.

To remove the liquid flux, just use a piston. Set it up so it pushes into the block the flux occupies and it will remove it.

Oh sweet, thought it was a pain in the ass to remove. I'll do that tommorow.
So I pretty much finished MMH&L (Magoo, Minimal, Henry & Lard)'s Steamworks building. I'm not normally one to worry much about aesthetics, but I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out.

It almost looks like someone set up a quarry and stopped it once it hit the ground, thats kindof a sick thing to do to someones home

Not as fucked up as some of the things I would do to people on an anarchy server, but still pretty fucked up.

A chunk reset wouldn't leave the wood and cobble on the floor, wouldn't go to perfectly flat ground like that, wouldn't be deeper one area than another, and chunk resets would cause it to revert to natural ground, while it's in complete disagreement with the natural ground right next to it instead.

The fuck is up with random destruction lately? I mean, worst I had was a greatwood tree that was half broken. What Mastfire is getting is a tad worse than that.
I'm guessing we've got some griefers, and the admins haven't figured out who they are yet.

Is fine for me, I can get there without crashing anything
also if we do update and you're using Better Storage, make sure to take everything out beforehand, since they took out the mod in the newer versions

Yeah, I have no idea what happened but somewhere along the lines it became visitable without a server crash apparently, and die_hard went and removed the drawbridges that were causing the client crash.
