I'm an FTB scrub just looking for a dazzling senpai to knock me off my feet~
I'd like to be added to the whitelist, please. IGN is macdoo99.

Oh wait hold on I'm an idiot with the reading comprehension of a toddler and I'm, in fact, posting in the wrong place and probably also already whitelisted. This is a good start.
Yay, DRM.
Because you actually have to buy the game, and Mojang has to have a way to authenticate that you did, in fact, purchase the game.
As an FYI to everyone, the server currently crashes if multiple people are on.
It's not your player-profile just because it crashed when you joined, it's just because you joined after someone else.
im like crashing when i log into the server and it not the more than one player crash

Can't even log in, server isn't responding.

And now it says I haven't got dyeblocks installed?
I'm doing tests with the server and have updated it to 1.0.9 though the error remains and have found out that its happening to a lot of servers so I'm still investigating.
It will remain down for now.
Edit:
Alright, fixed! Server has been Updated to 1.0.9, the problem has been resolved and if you're interested in what 1.0.8 and 1.0.9 brings you can read the changelogs here. It turns out this crash was happening to a hell of a lot of other servers as well so MCPC+ has been updated to the latest 1.6.4 version. Here's the download link in case another server host reads this.
In order to join you'll need to select Monster 1.0.9 in the FTB Launcher, click the 'Edit Mod Pack' button to the left of the version drop down box and then enable BiomesOPlenty-universal-1.6.4 and ThaumicTinkererKAMI_j6.

So just to clarify, do we as clients have to download anything?
I just selected 1.0.9 in the launcher and enabled BiomesOPlenty, KAMI and Opis. Works fine.
Yeah, works fine for me too except I can't seem to re-equip my BetterStorage back-pack no matter what I do. I've tried sneaking while breaking it, tried placing it in the armor slot, backpack slot, nothing seems to work at all.
-snip didn't read
-resolved-
can any body help me out with this
Coming online... Now.
Server seems to get frequent lag problems, have you tried having it auto-restart every two hours?
Well as of right now I cannot see any problems but if you have specific times then feel free to post them else we can't do much about a problem we can't find. Posting who was online at the time also helps a lot since it might be their base.

It seems to be when ScentTreeDown is online, despite having no reason he'd cause such problems. The problems also persist when he moves away from his base, which is odd.

What are personal anchors?
We seem to have a mystery on our hands!

Zoinks!
Can we have a second Mining World that is forest based for some new worldgen in 1.0.9? (In particular, Unusual Hives had a low spawnrate in 1.0.7 and there are now dye trees to be found in forests as well as their own Rainbow Forest biome)

Or hell, a mining world that has regular ol' terrain generation and not featureless desert, so there's a chance for an ocean and, as a result, abyssal stone acquisition.

Forest/Rainbow Forest/Ocean age.
That said, oceans are common, huge and abyssal stone is STUPIDLY common at the bottom of the sea. I took a mining trip less than 5 minutes outside the Thaum Guild and ended up with something like over 1000 blocks of it.
You know, considering we have a grand total of five-ten people on the server at any given time, I wonder if it would be feasible to enable age creation.
You know, considering we have a grand total of five-ten people on the server at any given time, I wonder if it would be feasible to enable age creation.
I believe age creation is disabled because of the sheer mess of lag it creates when you load into the world the first time and all those chunks are generated, as well as to prevent people creating private lava-ocean ages and pumping them out with a normal buildcraft pump, lagging the server merely from visiting as was the case with Ultimate
Surely the people who do play now know not to do that sort of thing, right?
Surely the people who do play now know not to do that sort of thing, right?
Eh, I can easily see it devolving into generating a dozen ages to get one you like, lagging the server the entire time.
Mystcraft could do with its own way of generating dimensions. Would be cool if the dev found a way to slowly generate an age, so it wouldn't strain the server, while the player waits for the book to be ready.
how about we disable bc pumps being placed in the server
how about we disable bc pumps being placed in the server
Can you even do that? If we can, I for vote the re-implementation of a public lava age so that we don't end up with 20 private lava ages and 500+ attempts at creating a stable one.
Hm... You know, I used to play on Hamcraft, and they had a really decent system for handling Mystcraft.
They had a few public ages, one for farms, one for normal mining, one for ore mining (higher ore spawn rates), one for lava, and one personal age per player. It was a 15 player server, but there was never any serious lag or anything.
Maybe we could do something like that?

Orrrrr people can get off the lava titty and invest in alternative power. MMH&L will gladly provide those who are starting out with ethanol to get started.
In other news, this can't just be me, right?
