MMH&L actually has a freight railway planned, though mostly local. A trans-server freight line would be neat, though.
The biggest issue with that plan though is how chunk-loaders currently work, as in only working when the owner is online.

Or you can stop forcing people to switch power source just because you don't like it. Besides, people are going to make lava ages short of a complete disablement of lava-based power, you may as well make a public age for it.

I'm not saying one way or the other, but is having a power source you don't have to work for, is always on, and never runs out of fuel really fun? Is that really what you want to be doing, setting up something you never have to think about?
Doesn't that sort of defeat the purpose of the modpack?

Because creating a finite and lag-tastical fuel source that requires no input other than an endertank, BC pump, and redstone engine is the perfect long-term solution, right? Besides, a good deal of people realize that lava is just an easy way to get started. If other, more efficient options are available, then why use lava?
Though in fairness, considering Henry/Woolio's statement, that's more or less what I've done with the Ethanol plant: Making a power source I don't have to think about after setting it up, though it took a good deal more engineering and planning wise than "place pump, place endertank, place redstone engines, yay power!".
We won't be bringing back the lava age it was just too easy to get infinite power and caused so many problems but a world (like the overworld) with new terrain generation might be interesting, we'll see.

I just thought of a problem with allowing age generation: Oceans of UU-matter/other difficult to obtain things, or oceans of otherwise-impossible things like Omni Power Fluid which can be used for [I]literally[/I] infinite energy, as far as I understand it.

I seem to be bugged, every time I connect, the server crashes.
My IGN is "nmdanny", I think the crashes are related to my current position(I'm in the city, right near the portal which connects to the spawn house)
What a strange coincidence, I also crash everytime I join

No, I've been at your last placed blocks. I have no idea what is causing it in that town area and the backups have been overridden already.

Aight, I've setup tpLogin so players login at spawn just so I don't have to keep editing everyone persons player file. It will be like this until that magic town crash has been fixed.

It's something right at the center of the town.
I placed 2 personal anchors in the magic town/city: one in the Ethanol plant and I think another in an engine/machine room connected to the ethanol plant by pipes. Perhaps the two anchors are conflicting or something?

Not possible, Thaum guild has several personal anchors overlapping eachother including from multiple players.

Is it located within city hall? The only recent addition to that place that I can think of is the Senate wing that Henry added, but that was a few days ago.
