Ahahaha, yeah, never use ME Interfaces on Agriculture blocks. They have different interfaces depending on where you click and it functions really badly. Best case it just doesn't work, worst cases include chunk corruption and chunk reset.
That block was just glitchy as fuck anyway. Half the time you couldn't get beer out of it, and if you piped the beer out it would still show it being full of beer even though it wasn't.
Oh well, there's always IC2 and Forestry for the local pub.

If you're asking about obsidian pipes' ability to suck things in, use a Vacuum Hopper.
Or an Item Collector.

You don't need to. The pearl cost is disabled on Profan's server since they're the replacement for chickenchunks' chunkloaders, which were free, but are disabled due to server-crashing reasons. This is why there is no GUI to the chunkloader telling you how long you have left. If you feed it pearls via hopper, it will take pearls at the default consumption rate at no benefit, and will continue to load even after the fuel has "expired".

Correct, but that's the case whether you give it pearls or not. It's the point of Personal Anchors, and the reason that World Anchors (which load forever) are disabled.

How do I get link books? I can make the inkwell and link panels fine but when I try to craft a book binder it wont let me
Book binders are disabled because of something to do with lots of ages clogging up the server.

Combine link panel with leather to make a link book, book binder is for descriptive books which are disabled.

Whew, good thing I've been slacking off on Minecraft and NOT building that algae-fueled hydrogen plant after all!
Saying that got me thinking about how well an Algae-Hydrogen plant would actually work. So I loaded it up in single-player and started tinkering. This is the result:

36 Photobioreactors being fed by 85 Autonomous Activators set to left-click on Algae, which has its growth boosted by Lilypads of Fertility (Lamp of Growth might also work, haven't tried). The system is currently generating enough Hydrogen to heat-up 12 36HP boilers, and generates enough surplus to last it through the night as the system absolutely WILL NOT run at night, no matter how much artificial light you throw at it.
Algae is harvested by Activators set to left-click as previously stated, then the Algae falls through Thaumcraft Item Grates onto MFR Conveyor Belts, which leads to a chest connected to 2 Vacuum Hoppers. Itemducts then feed the Algae into the Photobioreactors, excess Algae is simply trashed.
Each Photobioreactor generates 1 bucket of Hydrogen every 20 seconds, so 3 per-minute. Multiplied by 36 that's 108 buckets worth of Hydrogen fuel every minute, meaning that during the daytime you're generating 1080 buckets total, assuming it's not raining.
