MCPC+ is now called Cauldron, and is infact included as an optional mod when you go to set up a server.
Still doesn't include LogBlock/LWC/Permissions and other Essentials (heh!)
Still doesn't include LogBlock/LWC/Permissions and other Essentials (heh!)
Yes, but Cauldron is essentially Forge + Bukkit, so you CAN get those plugins installed. And then it's just a matter of configuring it.

...Didn't say it was? But you sort of need the server actually there to start setting it up, and...is anyone doing that? :/
Setting up the server and configuring the mods, generating the world and doing small tweaks takes a short afternoon. This isn't the problem as without at least one active administrator the server will decline (as it has already). As Profan said I have no interest in Minecraft anymore so the motivation is not there. It is also time-consuming to fix a lot of the errors with minimum damage to the world. However I will gladly help out until the lucky person(s) get comfortable with administrating.
I think an Anarchy server would last longer. PvE gets utterly boring when everyone reaches end game contructions/items/armor etc. and the population dies off fast. Just a thought :)
"Hey guys I have a great idea! How about we- Seriously this is EPIC XD! How about we have an anarchy server with limited map gen and SUPER OP endgame items?! IT'LL BE EPIC WINSAUCE!!!111eleven"

Hey StarToad, did you figure out which line it was in the dungeonlootconfig that could cause crashes?
No, sadly. We'll probably have to wing it or get chocoquest disabled, which thankfully isn't too hard to do and will actually help with lag issues in YCP.
can we time torches please :)
nop
Ignore me
time torches are apparently quite resource intensive and easily abused/op. i don't think i want them to be enabled
i want them enabled so i can farm and fight the wither dragon ball z speed
Time Torches actually force another tick to happen for each time torch. Basically, it'll kill any server with them enabled.
fine we get digital miners from the start
fine we get digital miners from the start
gl powering those [editline]15th June 2014[/editline] also in place of logblock, look at PRISM.
logblock is working though?
logblock is working though?
how well does logblock work with modded blocks? because I know PRISM handles them fairly well.
gl powering those [editline]15th June 2014[/editline] also in place of logblock, look at PRISM.
i have ways;) there exclusive to tech guild aka engineers ball z
i want them enabled so i can farm and fight the wither dragon ball z speed
For a second I was horrified at the thought of a wither dragon. Now I kinda want that to be a thing.
how well does logblock work with modded blocks? because I know PRISM handles them fairly well.
it should handle them perfectly [editline]16th June 2014[/editline] i haven't tested rolling back, but it tracks modded blocks like 'xID' so it shouldn't have any problem putting them back
i want them enabled so i can farm and fight the wither dragon ball z speed
StarToad and I were discussing various metals and the weapons you can make with them. A Tardarite battleaxe can kill the Wither in 2 hits.
Nice. I figured out a Refined Glowstone rapier does a shit load of damage as well.
Nice. I figured out a Refined Glowstone rapier does a shit load of damage as well.
Refined glowstone is pretty fucking overpowered. It's easy to get and offers 2.5 base hearts of damage - sharing the spot for "highest sword blade damage" with 2 other swords - at the cost of durability. It's so easy to get though, that's fairly irrelevant.
how well does logblock work with modded blocks? because I know PRISM handles them fairly well.
I cannot find any mention of PRISM handling microblocks and I know LogBlock cannot handle them either. LogBlock seems to do what we need for now. May as well stick with it. Edit: Will admit that PRISM has so much more support but a lot of it seems unnecessary.

It does 3 hearts of damage on a Rapier no matter what parts you slap on it, the battleaxe does 6 hearts by default. Quartz modifiers amplify it so much it's hilarious. Hell, it's so powerful, Tartarite Battleaxes do a lot of damage to the Hydra. From hitting it's body. The only downside is that it requires Atlarus and Adamantine to make. Adamantine is somewhat uncommon, but Atlarus is rarer then Emeralds. And both of them are in the Twilight Forest.

It does 3 parts of damage on a rapier minimum because you get a half-heart of damage with every sword blade out of nowhere and I have no idea how. How much damage does a tartarite cleaver do? Also adamantine is laughably easy to get hold of because of a bug with it's liquid metal form. Atlarus, not so much.
I forget exactly how much it does, but it does around 8 hearts of damage if my memory is right. It's either 7 or 8.
