Wouldn't work. You could place down your own lockable block and use it to open an otherwise locked reappearing door.

Seeing as I'm feeling that the guild area is getting somewhat more done now, I feel we can start taking in a few members if people are interested.
Not entirely sure how it's gonna work yet, but we'll figure something out.
We'll basically just focus on doing Thaumcraft stuff, make golem systems or just messing around with stuff.
So if anyone's interested, just contact me wherever.

After seeing my arcane bore in action, I feel like making some kind of underground settlement.
Anyone know of a good location? I'll probably make a ton of crystals so the local aura won't end up completely wrecked/drained.

If you're gonna dig out lots of underground space you might want to consider a forrest biome to get a bunch of bauxite on the go.

What is special about bauxite? I don't really do much factory/industrial stuff, so I don't really use the ores much.

Gives a buttload of aluminium, too; which can be used to e.g. increase the yield of mixed metal ingots.
And you can make a diamond drill with titanium which is really good for mining.

Or make an uber cheap Power Glove. It's really bad (joke, it's excellent) and with six iron, a gold bar, and a pinch of redstone, it'll be the best pickaxe that never breaks. Get some generator upgrades on some Power Armor and there will be no excuse to run out of power.
