HippieStation isn't even worth playing anymore. Now that the server is more highly populated more people are coming to it and ruining it with their stupid bullshit. Nothing we can do about this I guess, SS13 is naturally attractive to 12-year olds for some reason.

See minecraft and garrysmod... this does not make them bad games. Now SS13 has a sort of tight clique mentality attached to it, this is something else adolescents look for, it also contains gratuitous [I]"Le Ep1c Memes"[/I], something else appealing to your average 12 year old. ss13 is a perfect environment for 12 year olds to come and be shitty 12 year olds on the internet, the one thing driving them back is the graphics, horrific engine and clunky interface.

i got into ss13 when i was 14, i saw some videos for it and was really stunned because this game was so unique many people working together on a space station while having to be paranoid as fuck at the disasters that could happen being able to see how such a pristine station can be turned into some macabre, on fire, filled with holes carcass filled with rotting bodies of its former crew, and filled with much more alive crew members abandoning all form of professionalism and infrastructure just to scramble over each other to make it to the escape shuttle being able to play all these cool antagonists that give you so many options to infiltrate the station and carry out your objectives being able to master a job and use it to turn against the station with devastating results such as atmos setting the station on fire or engineering letting loose a BLACK HOLE into the center of the station it is a shame and a blessing that this game is hidden by obscurity, if it was made free to play on steam (no byond engine) or somehow made into a mod for garry's mod, it would receive a much bigger community that will be filled with people just like me who are amazed at such a unique concept
