Fact of the matter is, is that it's paper.
Giving a cursory glance with a search? Oh look it's blank paper.
No one should fucking flip about paper unless people have been very fucking suspicious beforehand.
rune paper isn't blank
Anyone have a good guide to atmos on tg code servers? One of the few things I never got really into.
Here's a guide:
Step 1: Get a RPD from one of the lockers.
Step 2: Mess with disposal piping until you figure out how to break into ANYWHERE.
Step 3: Become the 3rd person on the station with "all-access".
[sp]Step 4: Get banned for powergaming/metagaming.[/sp]
My favourite thing to do is to grab all the strange objects in maint, then break into science via disposals to activate them all. Then run around doing meme shit with them.
You can also break into the captain's office to [del]steal everything[/del] say hi, fly into chemistry to make some drugs, and break into cargo to start sending tagged packages to people. Also I haven't tried but there's disposals all over security too, you could probably say hi to the warden pretty easily or get some security equipment without people noticing if you're quick.
This is only half of the potential to atmos, since everything I listed has nothing to do with air. Guides for that would be more complicated and less fun.
On goon, you can break into the brig by reversing one pipe junction outside of the test chamber in research. Pretty useful for getting into the armory or staging a jailbreak without going through sec proper. The chute that you pop out of is also a reliable way out.
I wish someone would code musical instruments so a band can play the same midi from different instruments in time, I want spess bands.
All I want is a jukebox system that lets you play your own midis.
Can anyone join /tg/ station? I don't know why but i can't join for some reason.
Perhaps to be more specific: When I click on to join Sybil nothing pops up & BYOND doesn't load.
Plasma is a better grief gas than N2O still, Atleast plasma spares you the misery of just sitting there and you can still get people with masks on with it
why does N2O even exist
Not sure if this is a d20 only thing, but N2O can be used to enhance the power output of the TEG, along the lines of a nitrous system in a car engine.

I meant actual atmos. Disposal pipes operation is pretty basic.
I meant actual atmos. Disposal pipes operation is pretty basic.
Think of atmos as of a single "highway" of gasses coming from scrubbers, which get filtered, and eventually go to the distribution loop which sends the gas to the vents. With an additional air mix loop which you can modify to your hearts content. Just don't put too much oxygen in there, otherwise fires become VERY harmful.
Just look at the pipes and trace where they go, it's really not that complex.
You can literally break into Captain's office by replacing a single pipe in the disposal system. Disposals is way OP if you actually know how to use it and have access to extra piping

It's not even metagaming, too, since as an atmos tech you SHOULD know the layout of the disposals system. It's part of your job.

You can also reroute the entirety of Disposals to be flung from Xenobiology's space chute.
Fun times.
If you didn't know already, goon has a special suicide for handcuffs now.

Oh man that's a new one.
The table one is also pretty brutal:
John Spaceman contorts himself so that his head is underneath one of the wooden table's legs and his heels are resting on top of it, then raises his feet and slams them back down over and over again!

Cause surgery anesthetic tanks
Taken out of context this will sound terrible
But what is the use in giving people anesthetic? It lets you talk with them and make sure there not dying and such, tell you where the pain is and shit, so what if you hear them scream or shit, does anethetic not hurt as much or something?

Security should come with admin Boink sound effects everytime you enter perma.
It seems every time I perma someone for being a mega shit Lord, I have to give the admins a 400 page report on why I did it and justify it.
All when I have to deal with around 2 to 8 more people who are doing the same as shit Lord mcgee I just threw in perma
Nothing irritates me more than an admin team which complains about grey tide and a lack of security. Then in the same breath questions every single thing they do against greytiders.
If they're a shit Lord ICLY. They should be able to face the punishment security sees fit ICly. Not spit out a dummy and ahelp because they get perm brig for trying to coup security or empty the armory.
Note: some admins are chill. But it's blatantly obvious that hippie needs some rule changes revolving greytiders and security
I saw a service borg on goon called CLOEN BORGE
gives me some ideas
on hippie
got massively fucked at engineering
some dude who knew his shit started sabotaging everything from singularity to gravity to shard
not even comms were safe, fucker uploaded a script that replaced words with jontron related terms (ecchh jontron) and one of us engineers didnt manage to fix it
everything went to hell

So I know that /tg/station codebase servers have the violin and piano to which you can play on. I looked on /tg/ wiki and found that there is a way to turn .midi into whatever the piano uses. (Titled 'midi2piano'.) The thing is that the program never seems to work right, like sounding nothing like the intended song and more mashing a piano or not playing any sound at all. Is there any better program, or have I managed to do something wrong? (Likely) Or is there some place where I can get compatible midi's/good midi site?
Thought I'd post it here, as it's a major update:

Also, something amusing that happened during testing:

An NPC was building in a cold biome, stepped on ice, faceplanted and slipped into the water, causing her to drown.

Cool! Think you could host a server for it?
Cool! Think you could host a server for it?
Unfortunately I don't have the internet connection to host a server, however, you can download the game off the hub or the latest version here, and host a server for yourself/friends.

I seem to be unable to download it from the Byond site, it says that the installation of DragonRoll failed every time I try.
Also I wouldn't be able to host a server anyways even if I knew how my internet is kinda crap.

Try downloading it directly from the GitHub link instead, and compile it yourself. I'll have a look into why the hub version isn't working.
