I think the CM admins took away my Ushanka rights. RIP Ivan Sakharov, surviving veteran of "the Great War", most patriotic and courageous comrade marine to ever live. Probably a tad crazy, but any man with access to flamethrowers and more explosives than most people are willing to carry would be just a bit crazy at least. The annoying part is I never griefed or anything, I literally played a character who was nothing but 120% beneficial and helpful to both the atmosphere and gameplay objectives, I actively worked to help everyone, followed orders to the tee, etc.. Possibly sorry I wanted to enjoy my time playing a game and my lack of [I]super serious[/i] dedication to being[i][B] super serious 2d spacemans[/B][/I] I guess? My bad for trying to actually have fun and do something more interesting than being generic speeshmuhreen #273. Fuck why do we even have names if that's the attitude toward being more thoughtful in our characters than that? Especially because people with blatant video game names who don't do shit, ignore orders the entire round, etc.. aren't banned or anything. I'd be less grumpy if I had simply been asked to stop instead. Guess that means hello to H.P. Harrison, incredibly strict corporate suit or RO that makes everything be filed in triplicate before being acted upon. If we're supposed to be faceless and boring, I can do both of those reeaaal well.

The generator isn't on at the start and the rooms have a randomised (extremely finite) amount of air. Every crew roles id card can't access all doors so if you can't open a door try with another character. To power up the generator go to it, check "automatic temperature control" or something like that which automatically regulates the generator, then pump up maximum temperature to something like 3000 to give you enough energy to get the ship functional. The sub will begin to get filled with air at this point. Now you can turn on the radar at the navigational computer giving you a sonar map of your surroundings and control the sub either by turning on autopilot by dragging the waypoint kind of thing around. I think if you want to use the railgun or have some spare emergency energy for the motor then set the batteries connected to those to recharge. Also setting a pump's drainage rates to a positive percentage will actually route water INTO the room and if you put more than two uranium rods into the generator it seems to instantly blow up.

Woah that subsurface game looks pretty damn good, gonna try it out in singleplayer. Hopefully it becomes something actually playable on american servers as an european, because it doesnt look like a game that will have that big of a community. Great that it has singleplayer mode too. Sometimes I am just not up for SS13 because its either sirius arpy or total chaos with regular adminbusses, or god forbid: Yogsstation. Nah fuck it. I'd rather just go back to playing goon. I could still "play" CM but there's no fun to be had at this point anyway without my ability to play fun characters. There isn't one, I am being punished for a rule that literally doesn't exist and goes against conventional logic) Man people were playing along, other people became my comrades, the bridge officer on OW and the commander even played along with it. Even better because GUESS WHAT SURPRISE SURPRISE, Russia still exists in the Aliens universe. Huehue, good going CM admins, can't even pull a "muh immersion" on this one either. This wasn't like cuban pete or anything either, I didn't go around trying to incite a communist takeover, bomb random shit or anything, I was literally just playing a character, and I'd like to think I did it very well. It wasn't meta robust, I often would loose use of one of my arms and just keep fighting and never evac simply because it wasn't in character for me to do. I lost 9 fucking limbs during the great war, courage and patriotism are the only limbs I needed! Didn't need no metal hat either, because metal hat can't protect from greatest enemy, cold of winter. The occasional gas mask was to protect against facist gas attacks or to keep the fumes from burning facist bodies from tainting my patriotic lungs, and only when I got specialist. It was actually fun. I directly gave other people a good experience. I honestly can't find any fault in what I did which sucks because I'd really like to know if/how I can improve. Idk why I'm so mad about it because it's almost inconsequential at this point but I hardly ever do RP stuff and I finally got into something that wasn't borderline just creative fucking with shit (like I do on goon, I pretty much just fuck around building shit or help random people with whatever) and I'm basically told "no, fuck you, don't have fun." I play games to have fun, not act out the npc roles in someone's laggy byond speeshmuhreens vs aliums theatre performance. Besides how can I improve as a member of the community if there's no explanation for what is going on. That's why I like FP so much, if I get banned there's a reason and that reason is linked to a post and I can figure out how I can improve as a poster and member of the community.

I think the junction boxes display generated power in the sub vs the amount that is being used. Also once you have enough power to move around you have the option to turn on sonar at the navigational computer which allows you to locate the enemies.

It's a coincidence if it were removed from the codebase, but I have no proof of that being the case either way. I'm not mad they took it away, I'm mad because of the precedent that taking it away sets because by doing so I have been punished for something that A. was never clarified as not allowed and B. actually constructive toward people's experiences. I'm mad because people like "Alucard Cruz" or however you spell the name from Castlevania who joins as SL or other important roles every round and literally ignores orders from BOsn, the CO and does literally nothing anyone in his role would do, he breaks into the RO's office, lets his squad get slaughtered or otherwise since they have no leader. I adminhelped about it and you know what I am told? It's an IC problem. A guy purposely playing detrimentally to the experience of others is perfectly fine. But a guy who plays a character who isn't generic sheeshmuhreen isn't okay? That's the precedent being set. It's got nothing to do with my restriction from a cosmetic item, it's the lack of communication and precedent set by restricting it. Which is why earlier I asked if anyone else still had it in the event they just removed it from the game all together.

If they were going to ban you they would give you a heads up. And have you actually asked for them to clarify why they took it?

I asked and got no response the round after it happened. So I was left with only assumptions. Like I said I don't even give a shit about the item, it's the lack of communication about it. It's an odd coincidence that it was removed after I had been playing a character who always wore one, hence asking here if anyone else lost it. That part doesn't matter, it's the fact nothing was said about it which is why I asked earlier if it was removed for anyone else, which would signify a removal from the codebase. The reason? for having taken actions against a specific player IC for IC reasons (He went on a fucking shooting spree and held a doctor hostage, I wasn't about to let him get away with it and when he shot me (a bridge officer) I asked the CO and we decided lethal force was authorized if required.) as he's apparently friends with one of the other admins and bitched about it, with my IC character conduct as the justification for the ban. That's not really much better news but at least I can say I am partially right about the situation, I apologize for jumping to conclusions. For the sake of not starting drama I'd like to keep this as the end of it and not mention names since I really don't care anymore now that I've found the answers I needed.

Well, just had one of the more fun cult rounds on Bay, entire security team aside from me and the head of security get converted so we haul ass to cargo and fortify there while the Captain calls an ERT, just as we lose atmos, two juggernauts rush in and a blind rune goes off.
