I decided to visit TG after a while of being on Hippie and as a player who has grown tired of the pseudo-deathmatch that is Hippie it was pretty refreshing. Firing pins seem a little silly though. Only thing I like Hippie over other servers is the added polish hippie has

At the same time I like some of the new changes in TG, the teir 4 upgrades and the bluespace RPED for example, with a camera monitor and a bluespace RPED you can upgrade all the machines on the station without ever leaving the science wing.

Gets salty when we stop him and stun him. He comes after us again as we are gibbing ling, accidentally hit him with a lethal once while changing weapons. He calls Security out and orders all our executions, tries to get crew to lynch us. So, we execute him rather than throwing him in perma and I get banned for it. Is this bullshit or is it just me?

That's complete bullshit. Trying to get security killed and release dangerous, violent prisoners is grounds for a severe beating or death [I]regardless[/I] of job.

I was stunning him as I lacked cuffs and I was dragging a ling. I was waiting for my other officer to cuff him but both of us lacked cuffs. When it switches to lethal, he was being executed. Posting logs without context nor logs merely paints a picture of who won the fight. The officer asked for permission to execute someone for grand theft and being a suspected ling and was denied permission to do so. That is not killing. He wasn't chased to the Captains Office, the Captain spent the shift trying to hunt me down, however he relocated to his office to keep telling the crew to kill me. I spoke to him on the radio and he still tried to get me lynched along with my other officer. Which the other admin has left out. [U]Post all the logs, including chat logs rather than selecting a specific set of information[/U] including a bias quote from the banning admin, vague combat logs with no citation nor context and a brief comment I rushed to say before being banned. But of course, that would allow people to make their own judgements with all the presented evidence.

However this is one of the few times I truly and adamantly disagree with the ban. I appreciate the sentiment of posting evidence to clear it up, however posting combat logs is pretty much useless, The issue is, if you simply choose the word of an administrator over a player without providing evidence or transparency. You get a "Us vs Them" mentality which is prevalent in a lot of communities, past and present.

A little unrelated, but has hippie made a rule against stupid/shitty names yet?
