Chron here, and I'll agree that you can't always take what an admin says as pure fact, they're as human and prone to mistakes or terrible judgement as anyone else in the world. On the ban, the captain was being an asshole, and I had straight up told him after he had gotten cloned that if he continued to scream about killing you that I wouldn't be able to deal with his case. I'll agree that he was acting like an idiot, and I wouldn't have had any issue with you permaing him, its just that you having stunned the captain and having the proper tools to take him in should've been what happened here, not you stunning then killing him in his office. I'd have no problem lowering the ban if you went and made an appeal on it though. I don't play ss13 much anymore, but when I do I love being on the medical staff. Especially when I get to be a surgeon. Mostly because since I don't play a ton, I forget 90% of everything, so reading the wiki as I'm doing intense life saving surgery. Ao I make a point to roleplay out my dude pulling out a copy of "heart surgery for dummies" and going like "okay so I make a cut here an- wait no that's the brain fuck. Where is the heart again?"

Lord" just show the quality of hippie's playerbase. It's this kind of "low-effort humor" like MLG Parody memes or racist jokes that shows that the main kind of people who play hippie are the kind of people who say "lel" or "top kek." It's why goonstation has a rule against homophobic/racist jokes, to scare off these kinds of people. I know it can be brushed off as me "getting worked up over spacemans" but it's really a lot more than that.

I'm kind of glad that at least they're staying on hippie and not going to other servers. It's pretty much just become a containment server for these kinds of people. I don't know if I should thank Lawli for creating and handling a server for them, or if I should hate him for giving them a place to stay.
