Regular plasma and whatever chemical it was that sparked and made a small fire. If you add in the chem that makes smoke then even better.

Im talking goof chem, and theres like 2 types of plasma, stable and regular. which one are you talking about?

I know, there is a chem that causes a small fire when it comes in contact with anything, and I just told you : regular plasma.

Put 30u Phosphorous 20u Stable Plasma in a beaker and 10u Stable Plasma 30u Sulphuric Acid in another and add both into a grenade casing. When the grenade explodes, it'll mix the chems and make them react and turn into Phlogiston, which will then immediately cause fire.

Alternatively, add some trifluorine (3 parts fluorine, one part chlorine) to the mix. When the mix detonates and starts to heat up, the chems will actually mix at high temp and ignite into a trifluorine storm.
I made a foam nade with it once and ended up melting an entire syndie squad that was huddled around the nuke. I also added coffee and soap for the hell of it and it ended up creating a turboboosted firestorm that left a trace of high speed inducing slip n' slide that sent people flying into walls fast enough to knock them out. In front of the nuke.
Many laughs were had
Oh why did you post that. I've lost all hope for ss13 remakes after so many tries.
IF THIS GETS MADE I SWEAR TO GOD
it wont get made
I've seen many remakes come and go, I have 0 expectations whatsoever.
It's in 3D, it's going to be its own game if anything.
After fucking around for a year trying to get it to work, I managed to get BYOND + SS13 running on OSX! Just follow this guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/SS13/comments/3smt0e/successful_ss13_on_mac_os_x/?sort=new
You have to make a new account and NOT sign into it anywhere else, or it will crash after 10 seconds. You also need to go into BYOND's preferences and, under the "Games" tab, disable "use graphics hardware".
I wish hippie had the same computer system that goon does.

You're free to nag our coders about it.

Also using phlog nades on nukies is like the best thing ever, especially if they don't know how to ROLL

I'm going to assume that this was on the ops team I was on where we planned to raid tcomms but immediately lose an operative to fire, and almost lost a second one. We fail miserably because the AI locked the area down nobody had any c4 and I dropped my toolbox in maint. We lost an operative and another one goes missing during that time so we went back to the the ship and flew it to the north of the station to try and bomb the armory. Of course, I lost my jetpack and ended up on my own while I assume the other guy and the borg got completely wrecked by Security. And then the last(missing) operative took the place of some MD and never got found out in the entire round.

Were you part of the Cunnilingus team?
Were you part of the Cunnilingus team?
Yep, that was the one.
Just so you know, my entire backpack was filled with SUPA HOT FIYAH nades ready to fuck you over. I had originally made a couple for when I would be lurking around maintenance looking for treasure as some sort of insurance, then I heard there was trubble down in engineering.
Fried nukies, smells good.

I'm quite glad to see a new video from this and to hear that you are involved. I'm holding my hands up and giving you my power. Make these dreams of shiny and chrome 3d autism become a reality.

Note that you probably need an actually good Mac to play it. Even on normally smooth servers, like Hippie Station, it is super choppy on my 2009 MacBook.
Anyone know why the game makes a noise when you strike a player with a melee weapon, but is silent when you hit a hostile mob with one?
Neat little trick I learned a long while back and I'm surprised nobody ever mentioned it before(nor is it mentioned in the wiki.)
So if you get augmented you're actually immune to firebased damage. Like I said no clue if anyone actually knows this but you're fully immune to fire damage, found that out when playing Hippie for the first few times and got aug'd a security officer when a Nuke Ops Gygax shot me with a Hades cannon. Imagine to my surprise and his that I wasn't getting hurt and the fact the security officer on fire is breaking his shiny mech.

Bug or feature? In SS13 they're one and the same.

It also lets you just walk in space as long as you have internals, which probably means they're immune to pressure damage too.
A worthwhile investment really.
I was the blob on hippie earlier today and someone made a summary of the round

[editline]29th November 2015[/editline]
To put it in perspective at the end of the round my blob reached from chapel all the way to arrivals
God, Blob can be a fun round but nobody on Hippie knows how to play it without fucking over the station. People using flames and plasma and bombs left and right, while the emitters are miles away from the blob.

I don't think it helps that Hippie more or less transfer to /tg/'s codebase and the realm of fucking VARIETY BLOBS. Regular Blob rounds on hippie are fucking tragic because either the crew tries to welder bomb, bomb, plasma fire the damn thing or the blob is too stupid to play. But the specialized blobs are like the worst.
