An assistant bludgeons a wizard to death, puts all the wizard's equipment on, and walks up to Plump going "I'm a wizard, fear me!" He says something like "You're not a wizard, knock it off." "I am! I'll prove it by making electricity fly from my fingers!" "This I've got to see." Guy uses stun gloves to shock a passing miner. "Behold!" "Amazing."

It's only fun because assistant is otherwise boring, and before you say "don't play assistant" first off, all other jobs might be filled, secondly, playing a borg makes you the station bitch and thirdly the HoP tends to fuck off after about five mins and go pretend he is the captain and thus a HoS on steroids. Heck i'd rather every assistant be replaced with clowns and mimes... at least they could spend the day pranking eachother.

Sometimes I repair the brig because engineering can't be fucked, sometimes I lay slip traps for wizards and nuke ops, sometimes I go on space adventures, occasionally I actually replace a dead guy at a given job after taking their ID, and frequently I yell at security officers to stop running around with their fucking batons out like they want to get disarmed and stripped. It is a role of total freedom and often ends up being the best job for getting involved with round events, or just generally having fun. Freedom is only as boring as you let it be.
