Then with about 5 seconds to spare before the Charon launches I sit on the throne and the plotters win. I guess I just don't realize how special it was since pretty much the only initiative I took was ask the guard to help me get to uptown. 90% of the work was done by the plotters haha.

So how exactly does crafting work in lifeweb? I was trying to make a torch fixture, but it kept saying it needs a wall despite me standing in front of and looking at one. [editline]This is obtuse.[/editline] Nevermind, turns out you need to be looking AT the tile with the materials on it, not standing on it. Even though the bloody menu tells you the materials need to be under your character.

One game of DF can be a complete book on it's own sometimes :v:

Had an interesting round as an assistant. The moment I get aboard the station there's a guy running a Donald Trump gimmick and makes sure mexicans and muslims don't get past the sec checkpoint. When I got past the checkpoint I decided to run a mexican gimmick to counter Trump, by wearing a poncho and sombrero, stealing a handheld tele, the antique gun in captain's quarters, and start shooting it wildly around Trump, who ordered my arrest immediately the moment he saw me. Then AI announced itself malf, so I stole a spacesuit, positioned myself outside sat, activated the teleporter and hoped for the best. Landed in the core, the turrets sprung to life and started shooting me with lethals, while I was blasting the AI with the laser gun I stole from the cap. I managed to kill it before keeling over myself, and became the unsung hero of the station. RIP.

spawned in as a migrant, migrants are always fun. there was another migrant that had come before me who I believe was a mushroomcutter while I was a mercenary. apparently we were stuck, but she was nice and tried her best to make the best of it. there was a small path to the surface but we never took it since the surface is dangerous. eventually we realized no one was coming for us, so we decided to take the surface route. unfortunately I was also hungry so eventually I started starving, and this drained me of energy obviously. we made a great campfire and she begun digging while I was sitting there, exhausted. since I couldn't walk, I also jumped down which really fucked me up. I was still hanging on and was alive, no bleeding, but got pretty damaged. we made some food, tried to survive, and then she started screaming that death was coming for her. I didn't fully understand, but apparently we had to run. while we ran, we were also ambushed by skinless who we managed to lose. while hiding, she suddenly died and panicked briefly right before her death. turned into a skeleton. I got pretty sad since I had a lot of fun with her, so I decided I'd put her to rest, even though I was both starving, thirsty, was in pain, and had to use the toilet. I took her shovel, but it broke right before I could bury her so I had to get more wood. took her axe and went out. then an alien ambushed me and kept throwing rocks at me, which freaked me out, but I got him eventually. after he had gotten some bad hits on me. so I went on, made that shovel and a grave marker, and figured I'd finally bury her. too bad I dug even more since I don't know how to bury, so I ruined the grave and tossed her into the lake. I panicked but got her back up. then I went on to dig a second grave, hopefully not fucking up one more time. then I had a heart attack and died while she was lying on the finished grave, just not buried. I'm so sorry Belle, I had no idea what I was doing but I tried my best :cry:

It wasn't long before some cheap unrobust traitor Scientist busted into the robotics and produced two cyborgs who he emagged later to serve his cause. Few minutes later, a survivor produces several pAIs. Me being one of them, we spend the rest of the round having our radios 100% enabled and spamming *ping and *scream 24/7. It was glorious. HOLY SHIT THAT WAS FUCKING AMAZING so I spawn in, as a sole soulbreaker. completely alone. no one to man the slave porter. I figure I'll just go to the caves and hopefully become a zombie, but I stumble across a migrant who is still choosing his class. PERFECT! I yell at the migrant but he was asleep, fuck. I went for the inqusistor, got her down, and pulled her back. unfortunately I got exhausted and fell asleep, so the censor turned the portal off since he went in first. 1 minute left on the timer, so I said fuck it and went rambo with my scimitar. a huge crowd gathered around me, got me down after I had delivered some fatal blows, but they got me down. then I start spamming ALLAHU ACKBAR, and bam, I get like 3 others with me in the blast since the timer went out at the perfect time.
