I just got 24 hr banned from Hippie by Sonador for being flamethrowered during some cargo tech's rampage in medbay, and then attempting to use his own weapon against him. Ironically I missed both flamethrower shots and noone else was injured by my actions - only his (the guy set the HoS and a lot of braindeads on fire, maybe a doctor too). I had high hopes Sonador would take a chill admin/investigative admin reputation but it looks like he's a hard ass newbie like a lot of em are these days.

On the subject of Bans today I accidentally Icked in Ock... Granted I made that slip up twice today but usually it was just minor stuff, nothing round specific as far as I remember. Although during an Nuke ops round I was telling a story to the other ghosts about a previous nuke ops round I accidentally let slip part of it in OOC, and Swandr banned me for 24 hours. You might direct me over to the forums to lodge a complaint but I'm kinda conflicted. On the one hand, yes IC in OOC is bad and YES I probably spoiled the round and YES even though it was accidental I did do a few accidental slip ups that day but on the OTHER hand 24 feels a little excessive, mostly because it's as good as a two day ban on this end because I won't be able to play the rest of today or any of tomorrow, although that's something specific to my situation personally and i can't really expect admins to account for that. Most importantly it WAS a genuine accident and I did not mean to IC in OOC and (this is starting to sound too much like a Ban appeal) Ok cutting to the point the reason I'm not making an appeal out of this (just yet) is because I'm not sure it's actually worth all the fuss and I get this unshakable feeling I'll just end up making things worse. Semi related note but is it possible for players to read their own notes at all? Kinda like how it works on goon, it'd just be nice to know the sort of mistakes I've been making and account for them.

Just love it when your work is cut out for you. I spawned in the middle of the round as a traitor CMO with directives to kill the RD. I get a poison pack and fill a bunch of anti-toxin/epinephrine bottles full of polonium and erase the rest. Walk 3 feet out the door and a brutally injured RD asks "CMO HEAL ME". As he willingly lets me inject him with 15 units of polonium. Immediately after the escape shuttle arrived. The RD passed out on the way there. If you make an appeal and don't be a jerk, you'll get it granted. The IC in OOC bans we're issuing at a rate of 1440 minutes right now solely for the shock value. We're getting people about twice a round doing really major, round revealing shit, so we're running the bans hot to ensure word starts to spread that if you do it, you'll get fucked up. So far, I've unbanned everyone that's appealed it.
