I only ever managed to get cargsing to work once on hippie because theres always that one dickhead who see's me building it and runs off to tell the HoS.

We say fuck it and try to order a maruder... find out there isn't enough ops to pay the TC cost so order a gygax. I buy a few stacks of C4 with the leftovers and tell the dudes "you guys run off and have fun, Imma blow up the Tcomms and the AI" Tcomms down, gygax pilot runs off into the station with cries of "YEEEEHAAAAWWW" IIRC he gets a face full of ion rifle 10 seconds later. Meanwhile I potter down to the AIsat... my robust senses tingle and I hear an airlock open. I quickly duck behind a bit of wall and wait. I pop back around and there is the captain... no Space suit, just by the AI sat maintainece area down the bottom, dying to space related causes. I take out my sketchkin, unload a clip for saftey, grab the disk and plant a bomb under the AI's camera for good measure. I meantion how I fluked the disk and fluked it hard, I tell them to get back to the ship... they keep talking about how the Gygax is down and "quick get dat disk, the captian is by the AI sat!" In the end due to their bumbling around it's just me and other other guy on the other side of the station. He tells me he's gonna try and escape but get ready to go. like he's some brave hero sacrificing himself. THere's me talkng like a impatient cab driver "Look mate, I can't sit 'ere all day, bombs gotta go off soon ya know." So that was the story of how I flu'd the most fluky flu of flu cops and still every other agent managed to get themselves killed. Almost as bad as the ops where we subverted a borg to our whims, got dat disk but the ONE lone operative decded to run off and blow the borg to cover our tracks or some shit. One of our number was injured enough that the blast put him into crit and then nearly instantly into dead so HE blew up due to his implant. These two explosions was enough to knock out a third member who blew up and by now there was a hole in the station so a FOURTH guy blew up soon after. Only the guy who messed with the robotics console lived and the disk was lost.

Ya know the more I think about the best idea I just thought of. Team antag rounds like Cult,Rev, and Nuke ops should have flags checked if there are the max amount of heads and security staff. Understaffed security team = easy Rev and Cult wins. [editline]23rd February 2015[/editline] Better yet, start removing cult round from Hippie station. I don't know why but 10/10 cult rounds I've seen on Hippie are cults murder boning and wondering why nobody is summoning nar'nar or they don't have many converts. Better yet I'd rather remove the ability for Cults to win on constructs alone for shit like escape with 15 members.

I don't get it, he's just bringing up a discussion about how to add more roleplay to the game via changing the gamemodes (not "HEY LOL IM CHANGING THIS SHIT TO SOMETHING I LIKE FUCK YOU GUYS", just starting a discussion). See here's the thing, I'll assume you don't play at /tg/ or hardly know who he is. Paprika in recent months has forced completely unneeded,unwanted, and hated changes to /tg/ to the point of it not being /TG/ at all anymore than just a lite version of Bay Station. They added goonchem and despite it breaking so much shit and being universally hated by many players in favor of a revert or at least bringing back simple Trekchem with some goonchem,chemicals in it they just keep on the server(unneeded and universally panned). Removed donk pockets for the reason of "Someone might dupe chemicals!!11" which literally, not even the most robust players knew about til they removed them instead of removing said ability. Removing stun revolvers, combat change, no more holding big oxygen tanks,and other various stupid changes. It's made even worse when he would put up a poll to gauge player reaction and the results of each poll being highly negative, and then would implement the feature anyway because "Fuck the players' input on anything!" The main thing being is the fact the coders at /tg/ DO NOT know what the Players want and instead enforce their changes on things that THEY (the coders) not the Players want. Any negative criticism is met with douchey attitudes and the typical "Well if you hate it so much fix it yourself." which is basically saying "Go fuck yourselves." because they cannot be touched at TG for being codermins.
I said right in my post that I play at /tg/ a ton, and I don't know about the histories of the coders, but I haven't noticed anything awful as a player
And here's something I see the /TG/ Devs do all the the time, this line right here i've seen at least three differen't devs use and paprika has done it on more than one occasion. Lets use the warm donk pockets as an exaple, I'm SURE he did it there. Pap- "I'm removing donk pockets becuase possible bug." Tgplayer- "Instead of removing them outright, why not have te microwaves spit out unheated extra donk pockets?" Pap- "Thats not my Job, my job was to fix the bug which i did by removing it, if you wan't anything different you code it!" In short the devs ham fistedly impliment a change and call it done saying they met their self set requirements and if anyone wants anything else the can fuck off and do it themseves. In fact some of the biggest and stupidest changes have been from MisterPerson, including telescience's removal and slowspace. Paprika gets thrown around a lot because of his toxic and no-compromises attitude, along with his idea that because he's a good programmer, he's therefore a good game designer and sprite artist.
Hippie station best station, quit arguing about something bad getting worse and focus your attention on making something great better.

They do not handle criticism well at when they make awful changes, their arguments are always counter productive and always lead to them saying. "I'm not going to fix this, why don't you." near exact words coming from Mr.Person when there still was a slowspace thread up, he outright refused to change the movement variables back to what they once were because this was his baby that he made. Paprika is just a hostile ass who when you go against he changes he tells you to get on coderbus and fix it yourself. So clearly not good game developers at all, let alone that they NEVER play on Sybil or Basil at all.[/QUOTE] To be fair this is what happens when you end up with an open source game like this, ideally you'd have a lot of people creating things that other people can decide if they like or not (and with github adding or removing features is really easy), however in reality you end up with either everything going in or a bunch of stubborn fucks pushing their ideas in without thinking them through enough.
