Had an amazing round as HoS ruined by carebear admins at Hippy again, all because we accidentally killed a head who seen helping cultists who tried executing me. I organised the Security forces wonderfully, suprisingly they were really competent, yet the Cult we were facing was equally strong, we made a comeback by detaining each department one by one, deconverting them if possible, even going so far to place bodies of those we killed at robotics for borging. But any time you do anything or kill anyone as HoS, you get admins complaining about how you could of done something different. It's actually pitiful I had 70% of the crew as a cult, 10% non-cult and 20% security, and the cult have security gear, so we were being swearmed, yet we tried non-lethals approach to cultists unless they were proven to be hostile. I killed one head simply because an IC mistake and I get banned for two days over it. Then in the same breath, they complain that HoS is never played seriously. The day after they tried to ban someone for Nuking the syndicate shuttle when they get stomped. The reason I came to Hippie was because /tg/ because too serious and Hippie just seems to feel like /tg/ sometimes.

The security arrested everyone in cargo for someone buying an emitter, but then let me as a cultist go free while all my friends where stuck. RIP captain, ripporni

I think everyone in this thread needs to except the Hippy admins don't know how to play the game and leave it at that, it'll never change.

And it's worked as far as I've observed. Only people I really have gripes with are oldies like myself and Foos, who each have their own faults they never ironed out thusly forcing them to redact from moderation in SS13 or stay and piss people off. Just give those new kiddies on the block a chance and they may turn into a really GOOD admin (like Nernums, who will forever have my thumbs up). Though there is a distinct lack of admin-admin advice giving but I don't give a shit I'm going to go drink myself to sleep now.

And the admins told me to stop breaking the "meta" Seriously.

Unless you can give me admin names that are telling you to stop breaking the "meta" im assuming youre making this shit up. As for Incinerate/Perma. You are removing someone from the round in all entirely, if we ask you about this, its usually because they werent an antag and complained about it, explain why you did it and you probably wont get banned yeah?

Honestly I have never had trouble with the admins because when I do shit that takes someone out of the game I try to have a good reason.

Ive been on teamspeak with the admin bus quite a lot, I'm quite friendly with them but I also know how you guys talk about people bringing up issues on facepunch. Ive been in the conversations. So, no, I'm really not fond of bringing more issues to the server I enjoy playing because a few bad apples and mob mentality, the majority of posts by the hippie admins on here are accusing or trying to disregard complaints. Do you really think this many people would have issues with Hippie because they're salty? No, it shows some underlying issues.
