The engine is still pretty gross and it'll take a rewrite to fix that. (who uses sprites for something like that when you already have the models for it?)

For all movement directions. It's an incredibly terrible way to handle things. You can still use sprites just UV them onto the body. It's absolute garbage.

So adding one object requires a 64x64 sprite for every single frame of animation in all 8 directions you move in. Also gorgon doesn't really support 3D real-time rendering. Yeah it's pretty gross but it was a work in progress haha!
