Fuck it, I'm going to start coding shit for SS13. I have so many ideas and fixes but I'm far too impatient for wait for others to do it

Just starts being me to death for no goddamn reason, because I threat to their order. Not only is that really fucking stupid, but this was a security player who was willingly attacking a head and someone who hadn't done a goddamn thing that entire round. I stayed in my Office and did jack shit only to get arrested for no reason by some security officer not playing security, even without a reason someone can fuck around as security and get by with it as an IC issue. I've seen many a tider try to steal my security gear for the sole reason on trying to get back at me for arresting them, hell I've been killed for it before, he's not punished. I receive a day ban for killing the captain who made a brought for a lot of "IC issues with me, in short I killed a traitor in engineering, captain arrests me, lets me go, and then rearrests me for no reason and I fight back with the traitor's ebow I found, trying to escape them. I get critted and revive and fuck off but still wanting to kill this comdom for just being a terrible captain overall, so low and behold comdom is stunned and cuffed by beepsky near engineering. Oh I take this has divine providence and kill the fucker for being such an ass to me ICly. Yet SOME HOW I CANNOT JUSTIFY MURDER, THAT WAS COMPLETELY REASONABLE ON THE ACCOUNT THE CAPTAIN HAD WRONGED ME IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE AND ICLY THERE WOULD BE NO POTENTIAL FOR ME TO KILL HIM IF I HAD THE CHANCE.
So what exactly does pepper spray do and is it worth it? Im thinking that pepper spray is way more acceptable to use liberally than say your stun baton. It can also be used on multiple people at once, and IRL the police use it to break up large masses of people. It would be really cool and useful if sec had teargas grenades, especially against greytide. Basically if you have no internals you cough and drop things, if you have no eye protection it degrades your vision or can make you go temporarily blind. Gas masks would completely negate it even without oxygen. A swarm of angry assistants mulling around outside security? Chuck a few teargas grenades at em.

It knocks people on their ass and if it gets stolen they can't refill it and you have sunglasses so it can't affect you.
Be sure to be aiming at the eyes or it'll do nothing.
Ive said this before but I still firmly believe alot of the poor opinions people have with some admins is because no one knows if any action got taken by said admin. When the only response is "ill look into it" and then you get nothing after that its fairly easy to assume that nothing got done, there really needs to be public ban/punishment messages so people actually know that someones been banned or punished for something. Last night I AHELP'd a really obvious metagaming guy (sec officer helping a traitor kill people) and at the end of the round having gotten nothing other than "ill look into it" I see the traitor still alive and well on the shuttle and im left feeling like nothing was done about it, for all I know he could have been perma'd after the game but with no way of knowing that I would just assume nothing came of it.

Admins can't really DO that so you kinda just have to Ahelp and hope, another issue is if someone WAS a traitor, even if they were banned their name would pop up in the greentext/redtext feed, Possibly even getting full on greentext if all their objectives were assassinations (which are basically a free space) I always follow a Policy of "when in doubt Ahelp it" which tends to work out just fine, although %90 of my Ahelps are due to getting killed in what turns out to be a Rev Round. Still, Ahelping a potential shitler never hurts as it does generate a log, just be sure To include a name.
So I found out about Minitanks today. They can mount a Solaris Laser cannon and taser gun, the Go-to mech for when mining are being lazy fucks. [editline]9th April 2015[/editline] Shame they die In two laser gun... yes gun not cannon, shots to the arse.
I'm thinking of tweaking with botany and Xenobiology so they can at least have some relevence in the short-medium rounds. Hell, maybe even design some new plants/slimes.

As Assistant I tend to be a shitlord who will resist security(if they arrest me for jack shit or defending myself) until I get executed. Once almost got out of perma by capturing the HoS, but it always ends with 2 gaurds tasering my ass and then beating me. I only really have a desire to play warden cause I get to sit in the chair and just guard armory. I tend to be nice as warden unless you fuck with my armory or if you annoy me too much(tend to laser people once) If you fuck with my armory, you will pay the cost.

More so just throwing out ideas here since no one else seems to want to. Every few days/weeks we just go back into the same loop of "urr admins" and nothing changes.

To be honest, Hippiestation seems like a bad place to learn the role, do to the amount of shittery that goes on even without antags doing anything. Any advice or chicken soup for the budding red shirt?

(aka, heading in maintenance, chemist is being shifty) And yeah, Hippiestation has a lot of greytiders, but just treat them harshly if they push their lhck and they'll start to recognise your name when online and know to stay being a shittler.
