I thought Robust had to do with being aggressive When i first tried HoS i was told i wasn't Robus and i really didn't get it
I can't play Goonstation around others. Since you can hear sounds from across the map, it's a constant never-ending mix of screaming, yelling, explosions and farting. I honestly don't know how the playerbase withstands it.
Ah adventure zone stuff, though he was referring to some bug.
Funnily enough, it's no bug and it is/was unbalanced as hell. The way it works is that as soon as you die, you instantly regenerate right next to your corpse, but completely naked. There are ways to actually kill such a person (although I can't remember exactly how off the top of my head), but barely anyone on goon knew what to do so I would spend some rounds soloing the adventure puzzle in under 10 minutes, and would come back to the station as an unstoppable force of nature. One time when I got back, I was pretty much instantly knocked out by a traitor and shot in the head. So I regenerated and just kept punching him silly until he knocked me out again and spaced me. 5 minutes later, I managed to get back to the station and I hunt him down, but unfortunately wasn't able to kill him due to security guards apprehending me before I strangled him to death. They threw me into the disposal chute and after a few minutes of dying and punching a window I managed to free myself from that as well and went back to harassing this guy. I don't think I actually killed him in the end but it was hilarious seeing him panic going "THIS GUY WON'T FUCKING DIE" on the radio and we both had a laugh about it in the OOC afterwards.
Tips on soloing it please?
Tips on soloing it please?
hang on I believe I wrote it down somewhere [editline]10th May 2015[/editline] Not sure if I ever documented it or just can't find it. I did find a Sarin recipe though if you're interested
Sarin: This is what you should have when heating to 380k acetone, 5 Units. atrazine, 5 Units. hydrogen, 5 Units. phosphorus, 5 Units. oxygen, 5 Units. fluorine, 5 Units. welding fuel, 5 Units. chlorine, 5 Units.
Might be outdated though
It hasn't and I had that anyhow

What doesn't though is the blaring sound artifact some prick hid in belt hell that annoys the entire station at once for maximum effectiveness.
everyone that plays ss13 and ESPECIALLY goonstation is probably on a watchlist for talking about how to make deadly toxins.
you should totally pm me the rest of the goonchems
you should totally pm me the rest of the goonchems
Where the hell's the fun in that?
The fun is in the discovery and mad science of figuring out the recipes. Discover it on your own, FFS.
I can't believe people are actually streaming SS13 on twitch. I would permaban somebody from my server if I found out they were livestreaming on it, because it can be bad for the streamer and other players. What happens when the streamer becomes a traitor and some viewer decides to grief the fuck out of him/her? I'm not going to punish someone for that, it's your responsibility to keep your role a secret, in our outside of the game. Even worse, what happens when an actual traitor kills the streamer, and a whole bunch of people watching this stream see it happen and decide to go and metagame to attack that traitor. You're running a huge risk of ruining the game for everybody you play with when you livestream ss13. It's not like TTT where a round is over within a few minutes. I saw one with some girl who was streaming it and in her words, to 250 people watching who were interested in space station 13, "It's a game where you're supposed to do whatever you can to get other people arrested, spaced, or incinerated." Please don't bring that fucking cancer around here

about 10 minutes ago she's still streaming if thats what you're wondering
about 10 minutes ago she's still streaming if thats what you're wondering
Appears to have finished. Which server was it?
about 10 minutes ago she's still streaming if thats what you're wondering
Messing with streamers in SS13 feels like a civic duty because they're endangering themselves and others.
It was /tg/ I believe. I wonder what happens when a streamer dies in-game, do they just metaghost everything or what, I doubt they just end the stream or server hop.
only stream with 3 hour delay tia
That'd be one solution, but it would then also be pointless because you can't really communicate with twitch chatters that well. You might as well just upload it to Youtube and be done with it.
i'd be okay with a twenty minute delay enough can and will happen in 20 minutes so that by the time the stream will see you fucking tator the shit outta someone chances are you'll have been outed or dead in the time since but really streaming ss13? haha fuck off with that shit
but really streaming ss13? haha fuck off with that shit
I have to agree with this, I'm not entirely sure what it is aside from what I mentioned, but something about live streaming SS13 just seems stupid.
I have to agree with this, I'm not entirely sure what it is aside from what I mentioned, but something about live streaming SS13 just seems stupid.
It's because unlike TTT and Mafia, it takes fucking 1-5 hours to complete and attracts the worst shitlers due to the many ways to permanently put someone out the game or ruin someone's fun. This is why people say it's a game to get people arrested, and why they should most likely be banned.
I actually saw someone on Hippie who didn't just stream SS13, he fucking pasted the link in OOC every round, ignoring the requests of the admins to put delay on it or stop the streaming He ended up raging about it and going to Yogs i believe [editline]10th May 2015[/editline] SS13 is the reverse of Tomodachi life, "It's better if you play it than to watch it"
Considering how fairly smooth /tg/ is, it's a wonder how horrifyingly bad Hippie is with lag. Currently playing a round where moving a single tile is taking about 90 seconds because of something an admin did. Fire and atmospherics in general seems to grind the server to a halt as well. Shame.
remember when that jace guy from deagle nation streamed ss13 one day? he went on a goon server and 2 minutes later 20 people with names varying from "DEAGLE NATION #1 FAN" and "JACE IS HITLER" joined the server and fucking stormed the bar since he was playing as bartender he didn't last 10 seconds before he was brutally mutilated, stripped, farted on, and spaced
Please don't bring that fucking cancer around here
Clam down, it was on their own server, was extended and it was to generally teach people on how to play the game, like messing with the UI and whatnot.

I've had this odd idea for cult rounds. The Chaplin is the only person on the station that do mass deconversions of the cultist. So you take away one cult right, but what if there's a massive jugguernaut army? Well my stupid idea goes as followed. For each cultist deconverted by the chaplin he gains a point for special gear to combat the cult and item sets. Paladin Blade - Similar to cult blade, but with a blue or white effect to it. Deals triple the damage to constructs Divine Robes - Provides protection against cult magic and enables the user to withstand more brute force, same stats as HoS coat and hat Holy Tome - A bible that heals all damage and deals no brain damage. Could deal minor damage to the Chaplin with each strike. Lazarus Effect - Allows the Chaplin to bring back crew members who've been slain into red status. Makes the Chaplin weaker for a period of time after using. Smite - Could be OP but fun ass hell. If Nar-Nar is summoned the Chaplin as a one time shot to call force holy energies and smite Nar-Nar back into his realm. Has a 50-50 chance of gibbing the Chaplin or banishing Nar-Nar.
