Played a blob round at Hippie's, it stretched to 1-2 hours due to robust blob who took the coincidence to expand itself in the Xeno while we were dealing with another blob in the arrivals. The blob in arrivals was a quite quick job, but rest of the round was spent on trying to exterminate the second blob. It lasted for very long until many started moaning and demanded the admins to restart, so they did. To be fair, the game was really starting to clog upon itself so everyone started to experience massive lagging.

I've had like 2 rounds where I've started out as the blob, and both times I was someone who only had medical access. First time I was Paramedic, second time(last night) I was Virologist. Both times, I just hid in Virology until I blew, then spent the next 30 minute slowly expanding while the crew was distracted with the other blobs. And then greytide happened and I got killed. First time it was straight up greytide, too many people for me to handle, second time a telescientist dropped in right next to my core and took me out before I even noticed her.

Without giving away too much, since half the fun is finding stuff out, the essential path is this: - Find all the keys - Give all the keys to the automaton - Do something to the server - Laugh manically as the round restarts and everything goes to hell - Go back to the solarium - Do things - Fix the sun. - Scratch your head because no-one knows what to do from here.

It's what happens when you overestimate your server's quality, think your staffing is any good, and stay extremely misguided with everything you do.

so i lied about there being no antags on the marathon round in sybil holy shit, the station was SO FUCKED that everybody moved to the derelict to escape the shitstorm there were abductors preying on people in the station, there were like 10 changelings working with the abductors, there were nuke ops trying to nuke the derelict, there were a total of 4 wizards (i was one of them and died on the station because it was so fucking impossible to survive in), there were aliens on the mining asteroid so you couldn't hide there, there were times when admins made every corpse a blob zombie so you were basically playing left 4 dead if you walked onto the station, there was a deathsquad, and there were about 50 slimes in medbay. there was a ladder in arrivals which teleported you to centcomm. there was a safe place where you could afk and nobody could bother you well that was until somebody suicided in there and his corpse got revived as a blob zombie which killed all the afkers at the end when the shuttle had 40 minutes to come, the admin spawned in 4 fucking blobs (i was one of them too) the blobs began moving towards escape to make sure nobody could leave, but then one of the admins pressed the "petsplosion" button about 10 times and caused every mob in the game to double, so the server went at 5 ticks every 8 minutes and eventually crashed and then i went to sleep the end

So Whatsup with the Meat Pizza monster that eats people and spits em out via teleportation Is it a reference to something or some schizophrenic coders idea?

Aww yeah, that 8 hour marathon was SO FUN. I was a clown refugee on the derelict, but then a bunch of nukeops killed us all to steal the nuke beacon. After they secured the nuke beacon on the derelict, they sent us in as deathsquad to get the nuke beacon back. apparently everyone except one other guy and me in the deathsquad forgot what they were supposed to do. We teleported over to the derelict and had a big fight with the syndies (there were only two left, which was weird because there were about 5 when they killed us originally) and we focused them down one at a a time. We didn't know how to defuse the nuke beacon, so we just spaced it so the missiles would go into space instead of into the derelict. And then we fucked around on the mining station for a bit trying to fix things there (some ERTs were stranded), we rescued them, there was a massive bluespace event (button mashing) and i got teleported back onto the mining station. Thankfully the cell in the APC was still working so I could use the mining shuttle again, but then a bunch of wormholes surrounded me when i got off it and i was xray lasered to death by a ling. RIP. After a while, a nukeops team was sent in to deal with the blob, but we couldn't even get off the shuttle due to the massive lag where you could only move one tile about every 20 minutes. th-thanks sticky

I've been playing scientist for a few days and I gotta say. Science is THE place to go when you're an antag wanting to rack of your kill count in a nice quiet area :(

SO I never get to make any of the fun stuff. In these situations I nab a space suit and fuck off with a GPS to find new Co-ords to add to my list. 2: Just as I max R&D and that one really good mining borg brings back a treasure trove of matts like 10secs into the round the chaplain or the mime will bust in with an esword+Ebow and flush me down the Xenobio disposals, and try to escape down XenoBio disposals only to space himself.

Not really a effective escape plan unless you were trying to escape your own life. You get points for the brutality of space depressurization though.
