So that's your point? Don't rape? Actually, in context, I really just stunned and ziptied the guy and just quickly pasted that emote in to piss off admins, I rarely do that shit on the other hand.
I don't understand if you aren't griefing to make us laugh why are you telling us about it

we rpg now
Absolutely, 100% DISGUSTING.
Maybe if it was integrated in some special goggles but on its own meh.

dear god why
What they should do instead is just add to the end of an attack in the chat - "It was effective" or "It looks like it hurt real bad" or something. But otherwise that right there is just way too immersion breaking.
I've never cared much about being immersed in my 2D spacemen, it's just that this looks like a huge, brown stain on SS13's aesthetic. And not the good type of big, brown stain you can use to slip up security, either.
It looks silly.
Back in the days of napalm+thermite, someone got the janitor's floor buffer and filled it with thermite napalm smoke on goon. It wouldn't damage the driver, because the entity wasn't available to be burnt. The station was gone in a few minutes.
Oh god, I just know there is a video of this somewhere. I've seen it before. someone please, please, PLEASE find it. Uhh, um... sheesh... what the fuck?
I was bored and wanted to code a thing, so I coded a thing. Would it be better if it was tied to an Advanced Medical Hud or something? I'm not particularly attached to it and the PR got denied anyways, so.
I was bored and wanted to code a thing, so I coded a thing.
It's a bad thing. Don't code bad things. If you're going to code bad things, don't put them out.
Would it be better if it was tied to an Advanced Medical Hud or something?
Look at it this way: If it's tied to an "advanced" medical hud (made by R&D, I assume.) then it would almost never be used. too hard to get, limited usefulness. If it's just tied to a regular med hud, then oh joy, another reason for greytider assistants to break into medical storage every round.
and the PR got denied anyways, so.
Good.

Keep the code around in case it can be used elsewhere.
So since someone told me to "go back to vore" and another one made a rant about "creative rules abiding gimmicks over ruthless killing", me and a friend joined in as the " Taur gang", one giant minautor blue haired afro man with two dicks (friend), and me as a tiny minotaur. After some fucking around, we found out that if you ingested people through, your humm, minotaur genitals, they'll eventually reach your balls and then transform as a copy of you. So we decided to try and turn the entire station into members of the taur gang. We even managed to piss off a furry who yelled that it wanted to be a wolf again. It was all going fine until we stunproded cable cuffed our supposedly last victim, who was most likely an admin, and we fell down in crit. So me and my friend spammed the ooc and prayers with macros saying "BADMIN" which literally crashed the admins, most players, and eventually myself due to how fast the Lil' script I coded was. Was fun. [img_thumb]http://puu.sh/iw3kF/fd2c30711c.png[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://puu.sh/iw3ua/df2663956d.png[/img_thumb]
It's a bad thing. Don't code bad things. If you're going to code bad things, don't put them out.
I'm sorry, but you don't have the right to tell me not to code things. If I coded a gun that shot space bears that exploded into space bears, I'd make a webm of it and show it off, but I wouldn't expect it to get added. I honestly wasn't expecting hit numbers to get added. It was a proof of concept and a "im bored lets make X" that I was curious about what players thought of it.
I'm sorry, but you don't have the right to tell me not to code things.
what
I honestly wasn't expecting hit numbers to get added. It was a proof of concept and a "im bored lets make X" that I was curious about what players thought of it.
Then post it somewhere that isn't a PR? I dunno, man. Almost anywhere else would have been good, even here.

If we're making code suggestions, make AI clowns throw banana peals at people to mark them as a target for other clowns.
No but we do have the right to voice our opinions about whether or not what you code is stupid or good.
Yeah, you do, but you can't say "Don't code bad things" and then expect me to follow it. My definition of bad is different from your definition of bad.
Then post it somewhere that isn't a PR? I dunno, man. Almost anywhere else would have been good, even here.
The thing is, a PR allows people to steal the code, iterate on it, or otherwise tell me "hey this is a shit way of handling it do it this way instead", even if it doesn't get in like we ended up having a PR on tgstation that makes everything pool, which helps prevent lag, because a discussion occurred over the pr not pooling images beneficial crap can come of a pr, even if it's rejected
Yeah, you do, but you can't say "Don't code bad things" and then expect me to follow it. My definition of bad is different from your definition of bad.
i still have the right to though lol. this is america, free speech exists, and even if you do live in some place that isn't america (even though your location thingy on your posts says you do live in america) i'm not sure any government official would throw a hissy fit over people not liking your code and make it illegal to say anything bad about it. and yes, i know that your definition of bad and my definition of bad are different, but yours is a lot different from most people's definition, and you know what they say, majority rules.
The thing is, a PR allows people to steal the code, iterate on it, or otherwise tell me "hey this is a shit way of handling it do it this way instead", even if it doesn't get in
or you could just upload the code for everyone to see and it has pretty much the same functionality minus the backlash for making a pull request for something shitty. pull requests aren't for your unfinished work or a place for you to put just anything into.
beneficial crap can come of a pr
not from your PRs christ, i'll never figure out how some of the shit you pushed ever got merged, goofball. you and the entire tgstation coder[sp]short[/sp]bus are an enigma to me.
free speech doesn't apply to anyone but the government tho
not from your PRs
Christ, man, that was uncalled for.
Christ, man, you're just being an asshole for the sake of being an asshole now. Please go reconsider your life choices.
Tone down the flaming, and instead ignore him. He'll keep talking until you don't. You don't make a very good point though, you said you wanted to get the opinion of other people, you got it.
Jesus christ guys the feature didn't even get put in so I don't even know why we're arguing
I never did like those damage numbers in Counter Strike because they could make it tell if you hit someone through a wall
