Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft V4 - We're gonna be RICH!

Super old school control warrior is still insanely strong, even without the fine-tuning Naxx brought. That'll probably be the first standard deck I make.
I have no idea what's going on anymore.

RIP Maexxna.
I'm excited, honestly. These changes sound pimp as fuck.
Little odd you can't buy old adventures, but fuck it, I bought that shit already. Feels bad for new players without money for mass packs for mass dust but eh.
Oh man..
echo
duplicate
both gone
no more infinite value mage
:(
echo
duplicate
oh, fuck.
Duplicate needs to be a common card imo; it adds a ton of gameplay value to mage secrets
I won't miss Avenge though
Good night, sweet prince.

Yea, I really hope they reprint some cards like duplicate.
No one ever said "wow duplicate is cancerous, its killing the meta"
same with echo
They are just fun, but good cards.
Cards like duplicate, echo, brann, scarab, ethereal conjurer I don't ever wanna see go. They are some of the most balanced HS cards imo.
No more healbot is silly as well. I'm hoping some older cards make it back in somehow, either as new reprints or blizzard allowing them.
It will kinda suck to not even be able to play old adventures
At least I own Naxx, I'll just have to get BRM before next year
Also, they implied that they're going heavy on the balancing for classic cards; Knife Jiggler nerf incoming?
Likely candidates for nerf-batting are Druid Combo and Knife Juggler.
I could definietly see both being changed, but we should hope that those cards are not entirely stomped to ground like with recent nerfs.

holy fuck that card art is terrifying
calm down there robot jigsaw
And here I was thinking I was being smart not buying TGT packs because I was missing many staples from GVG. Oh well, I guess I'll start saving up for the remaining LOE wings and classic packs.
Edit: Thankfully Handlock uses mostly Classic cards, that's one deck I could see myself using in Standard once it rolls out.
Edit2: Naxx is out. Literally.
With the soon to be removal of shredder, boom and unstable portal I really hope blizzard throws their future card designs in a different direction and seriously tone down on RNG that can decide an entire game.

Polygon did a video breaking it down and they said the devs specifically cited Druid combo iirc

Oooh, that's a good idea
Maybe I'll finally save up the dust to do that
Hopefully dis enchanting boom and the Naxx legends can get me up there

Although I should probably save Loatheb for Tavern Brawls

I do wonder if they'll go so far as to make carboncopies of Wild cards for the Standard format, and then when those eventually get phased out into Wild as well, they make more carboncopies for Standard. They basically get to sell you the same/a very similar card multiple times.
Wouldn't count it out after stuff like Dr. Boom, Huge Toad, Ice Rager, etc.
The current way Blizzard has tried to balance was addressing old meta issues was by printing new counter cards (Lil' Exorcist, Healbot, Mad Scientist), so if they take some of those solutions away, the same problems will pop up again, so there may be a need to always keep very similar cards in rotation. Heck, maybe they'll even swap out some useless Classic/Basic cards for these, since they decided to revisit those card pools and they'll never rotate out of Standard.
Oh, also RIP Dreadsteed shenanigans with Rivendare gone
Face Hunter may actually be better when there is no Healbot/Belcher.
Someone talked about reprint, and it got me thinking: What's going to happen to Kezan Mystic? As far as I know, she is the only all class counter to secrets, and when GvG closes down she won't be there anymore. Do you think they'll "reprint" her and let her exist still in another expansion?
why the fuck can you only disenchant for normal dust value? when cards get changed, dont you get full dust? why should it be different for when cards become un-standard?
i like the idea of formats but i think this is being done a bit too soon. theres not enough sets, too many decks are gonna lose huge staples.

without mad scientist secrets are mostly unplayable now too. they fix a problem just to bring it back.
mad scientist was not a wise addition to the game in the first place
it made secrets viable however. they will go back to being never played again outside niche decks like freeze mage
a necessary evil, if you will.
RIP warlock, my favourite class. Now it lacks good spells even more than it used to. How the hell am I gonna replace Imp-losion, Darkbomb, Healbot and Belcher in my Renolock? And zoo without Nerubian Eggs and Creepers? Damn.

just play wild
I mean, it's not like they tore down the theme park and built another one on top of the rubble; they just built a second theme park next door. everybody's meme decks will still be perfectly functional.
Seems like I chose an interesting time to get into Hearthstone.

Good old vanilla handlock.
so would Naxx actually be a good investment for the $25 at this point, even if you plan on playing standard? What's the dust/dollar conversion rate?
I think a legendary is worth approximately $4, if you craft them from packs that you purchased with money
okay so the whole of Naxx, if you disenchant everything, is worth somewhere just under ten dollars. I think.
RIP Lightbomb
If the new expac doesn't have viable sticky taunts I feel that Black Knight might become very popular again.

How the duck are you getting 400 dust out of $4 worth of packs
A standard pack with no goldens and nothing over rare here's you 40 dust
Also it might be different for you since I play on mobile but $4 gets me two packs since it seems you can't but 1 individual pack with money
Combo druid (probably) getting nerfed, 18 deck slots, formats
I didn't realize april 1st came early this year
