sorry about your doggo bro but it *IS* just a game. hearthstone is so full of bullshit I wasn't lying when I described playing it as like being in an abusive relationship. If you're down, I'd suggest another less-RNG based game that you can win at- or just become the cancer yourself.
RNGstone is not a game I'd recommend when you're depressed, nor is probably any team-based game. Try something like Warframe, Diablo, or Rocket League (not the kind of team-based game I was saying to avoid).
Just lost 12 games in a row against Shamans. Literally all aggro shamans. And they all killed me with no cards in hand with either a Lava Burst or Rock Biter with a Doomhammer in play off the top when they were dead the next turn. Every time, not even an exaggeration. No matter what deck I played. Just look at this shit. How lucky does everyone against me have to be. [t]http://i.imgur.com/INuBgjE.png[/t] Feels miserable. I've been trying to play Hearthstone to cope with and forget the fact that my pet died a few days ago and this shit just makes me want to off myself even more. [editline]26th May 2016[/editline] I fucking hate this. Aggro Shamans are worse than Freeze Mages.
Hearthstone as a "FTP" business model is a conservative's wet dream. Earning cards requires that you can win games, which generally requires that you own some cards in the first place. Replace card in the last sentence with money/wealth/*insert term here* and you get the same catch-22 that keeps people trapped in crippling poverty. The only way out it to either own cards in the first place, pull yourself up by your own bootstraps, or pay into the game with real money (the irony).

If it makes you feel any better I've been losing all my ranked games and dropping like 4 or 5 levels by playing aggro Shaman. I mean even after reading, on this thread, that c'thun decks were bad, and miracle Rogue decks were amazing I proceeded to lose to ALL of them playing aggro Shaman.

My problem is that today I have had the worst luck I've ever had playing this game... I even played against the same Shaman player 3 times in a row and he lucked out in all of our games. It wasn't even good games, topdecking double Rock Biter off of Ancestral when he had a Doomhammer out. [editline]26th May 2016[/editline] I'm putting Yogg in all my decks here on out as a final panic button for this nonsense.
Justs play lifecoach dragon aggro warrior and leap up the ranks
So happy I crafted Yogg. Even when it sucks (which out of ~5 plays I haven't had a strictly bad one), it's still just hilarious. Only played him in a Hallazeal Shaman so far. Gonna try Druid soon. edit: the post-ToG-Shaman is easily more cancerous than Face Hunter ever was.
Decided to to play arena again and my first choice is this: [t]http://i.imgur.com/n3Ba2Qu.jpg[/t] Hmm, help?
You've already lost, you picked Priest in Arena. But any case, that is a good start. Look up Heartharena stats for help and the rest is your own intuition. In any case, Vol'jin is absurd. The stats page also agrees with me. I say pick him.

I actually don't think any class is completely fucked in Arena right now Nothing as bad some classes before LoE Also, I wish Vol'Jin had been as good in constructed, I love the character himself and think he deserved better
Priest is very solidly in the bottom-tier of Arena. The problem with calculating Arena stats is that such a large number of people never complete arena runs, thus making the average winrate in Arena over 60%, which doesn't make any sense mathematically speaking (if every arena run had to be completed, it would be like constructed: 50%. If you win, that means someone has to lose). So in order to really see how the classes are doing in arena you have to look at the subtly of the change in winrate over time. Priest is in a better place than it used to be under LoE, with Paladins, Mages, and Rogues getting easy access to premium cards and spells galore. But its still doing pretty awfully. Currently every class (outside of Warrior) has a +10% higher chance at winning when versus a Priest compared to other classes. [editline]27th May 2016[/editline] Though I DO have to say Priest's high end is much higher than all other classes in Arena. If you get fed good Priest cards, those cards are head and shoulders above the other classes best cards. This is why you often hear people like Kripp talk about the 10+ win Priest decks you occasionally see being absolutely oppressive. [editline]27th May 2016[/editline] Like, just imagine getting Cabal'd in Arena. You're not going to play around it because it is an epic card, and it is such an absurd tempo swing it can straight up lose you the game if it happens at the right moment.
I'm definitely not saying it's good I just think it's playable if you want to play it There have definitely been times in Arena where I've thought classes weren't even really playable
A 10+ win priest/hunter is the scariest shit
What fun decks are you guys playing now that Whispers is out? [t]http://i.imgur.com/jezOtdK.png[/t] Here's something I've been enjoying.
What fun decks are you guys playing now that Whispers is out? [t]http://i.imgur.com/jezOtdK.png[/t] Here's something I've been enjoying.
I'm surprised to not see Ice Block.
id cut tourney medic for ice block for sure [editline]27th May 2016[/editline] you already have two refreshment vendors
How's that working for you/at what rank?
Playing at around rank 9-10 and it's pretty average. I mostly play when I'm on the bus so I don't have a lot of sample games. Antonidas has been under performing a little since by the time you reach him you're usually out of low cost spells. Mana Wyrm does a lot of heavy lifting as to be expected. Sorcerers have been a lot more relevant than I expected. I feel like it needs a handful of tweaks before it's optimal but right now it hasn't been disappointing. I've enjoyed the games a lot though which is different because I dislike constructed usually.
id cut tourney medic for ice block for sure [editline]27th May 2016[/editline] you already have two refreshment vendors
I'll keep note of this. Medic has been average so far but not in a way that I'd rather have Block.
What fun decks are you guys playing now that Whispers is out? [t]http://i.imgur.com/jezOtdK.png[/t] Here's something I've been enjoying.
i've been playing reno nzoth yogg cthun mage it works as about as well as you'd expect
What fun decks are you guys playing now that Whispers is out?
Yogg & Load Hunter, only problem is that Call of the Wild is too damn good and I rarely get to play Yogg-Saron himself. I want to win/lose with style, damn it
i've been playing reno nzoth yogg cthun mage it works as about as well as you'd expect
What's it like at Rank 1 Legend on all servers?
There is a surprising amount of Yogg in legend right now. A few streamers did exceptionally well with Yogg in classes with fairly bad board clear and lots of spells so it has caught on. [editline]27th May 2016[/editline]
What fun decks are you guys playing now that Whispers is out?
Miracle Rogue / Yogg decks. I enjoy combo decks and Yogg is the ultimate combo card :v:
I don't have enough of a collection to really do fun decks :/ Unless something like N'Zoth Hunter counts I have been thinking about doing some kind of N'Zoth/C'Thun/Reno thing, but I don't know the first thing about building an effective Reno deck
I don't have enough of a collection to really do fun decks :/ Unless something like N'Zoth Hunter counts I have been thinking about doing some kind of N'Zoth/C'Thun/Reno thing, but I don't know the first thing about building an effective Reno deck
Well the first thing involves having little to no duplicates. Thank me later.
Goddamnit why do I always have to queue into fucking C'thun warriors when I'm playing ramp druid. The billion fucking armor they manage to generate always ensures that the game's gonna go on till the last few cards. And the worst thing is, the 20+ minute game literally gets decided by 1 card. If they're being super greedy and have doomcallers in their deck, they win, otherwise they just run out of threats to play and I win.
I got another legend called "Hallazeal the Ascended" is THIS one any good?
I got another legend called "Hallazeal the Ascended" is THIS one any good?
Hallazeal + elemental destruction is like 4-5 heal per unit damaged, which is basically a "Reno" heal effect.
Hallazeal + elemental destruction is like 4-5 heal per unit damaged, which is basically a "Reno" heal effect.
The first time my friend pulled that on me when I had a full board I shit my pants.
