Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft V4 - We're gonna be RICH!

I pulled The Boogeymonster and N'Zoth in consecutive packs.
Unfortunately I may have to hold off on running the N'Zoth Midrange Hunter I was interested in cause that's expensive as fuck.
N'Zoth is honestly one of the single most powerful cards they have ever printed. Before the set released, I was wondering if they would take power creep seriously and weaken the set down, but that flew straight out the window apparently.
I can't imagine future sets matching this kind of insanity with the Old Gods.
Holy shit, wish I had been recording my last game. Against Shaman, he had a board of a Totem Golem, 2 Feral Spirits, Thunder Bluff Valiant, and a buffed taunt totem, with Doomhammer equipped. I'm at 2hp, drop a 13ish spell Yogg, and it was the best one I've ever had, one of the best I've ever seen. Frost Nova + Blizzard + Cone of Cold + Holy Wrath clears Shaman's board, then Bashes my opponent's face then my face. Yogg Blessing of Kings himself, Cabalist Tomes which gives me Mirror Image (I had drawn an innervate through a Slam Yogg casted), and he finishes it off by playing Bear Trap & Get Down!.
Shaman drew a Thunder Bluff Valiant and procceded to eat Yogg to the face :v:
Hearthstone has been less frustrating for me than playing Overwatch since I crafted Yogg, presumably because I don't need to depend on potatoes for teammates in the former.
What has the world come to?
It's the opposite for me. I don't play many games anymore, and Overwatch reminded me how insanely great a tight competitive game is with no RNG. It killed Hearthstone for me, for the time being.
I'm so happy I didn't DE my golden Malkorok for twin emperor
I was greatly considering it, but cthun decks bored me so I ended up not doing it
now cthun is bad outside of warrior, and Malkorok is actually an amazing card
I've gotten pretty much every weapon so far, and they are all generally fine no matter which one. Cursed blade is obviously awful, but every other weapon is typically fine. I've gotten the gorehowl dream, as well as the new shaman weapon multiple times.
The new shaman weapon is SO fucking good in tempo warrior.
And here I am, sitting with Cho'gall and hoping Blizzard prints useful spells.
(And Mukla, Tyrant of the Vale, and N'Zoth who was crafted, and Yogg-Saron who was crafted)

That's-a spicy funnelcake
She should've bought one.
Hmm. I just played a game where I had Thalnos and Fandral on board, and I played Wrath on a Doomsayer. It should've done 6 damage and drawn a card but it only did 5. :v:
As an aside: Doomhammer is a fucking stupid weapon.
2 oozes and Harrison in every deck forever
Also, is it weird that the more I think about Standard and Old Gods and what not the more I get super curious about what the next set is? What's the normal timeline on these? Fall next?

Summer. Most likely another adventure.
Yeah it's always adventure-expac-adventure-expac etc.
I finally got to rank 20 after 2 days struggling to win! I was so lucky today that all my opponents were dumber than me, so I managed to hit face with my Shaman and win.
Too bad I quit after reaching rank 20, so I still need to win one to get my free 5 packs.
Summer. Most likely another adventure.
Oh, I realized it would be an adventure! I'm just curious about say, whether it will be based on a Raid like BRM or Naxx or original like LoE
Also now that Standards here I'm curious about whether or not they'll start designing sets with that in mind
Like, knowing what's leaving next year and just what they can do without having to worry about broken synergies in standard
introducing league of old gods

Ync'theaarnogg-Jackshaarj'on, the Corruptor of End, Hope's Unbound Rage
At the end of your turn, if you have only one copy of any card in your deck, you opponent draws cards equal to the Attack of Ync'theaarnogg-Jackshaarj'on, the Corruptor of End, Hope's Unbound Rage and the number of spells cast this game and put a random minion from a random deck into the battlefield. Battlecry: Summon a random Deathrattle minion that died this or last game, if you have only one copy of any card in your deck, restore your hero to full Health and cast a random spell for each unique card in your deck (targets chosen randomly, wherever they are).
New Tavern Brawl collided with this post.
CART CRASH AT THE CROSSROADS
"You collided with another Hero and your decks are mixed up! Pick another hero at the start of the game: your deck will be a random combination of the two classes!"
Special Rules:
1. You will have to pick a class, a-lá Encounter at Crossroads. You will get a pre-made deck for that hero!
2. At the start of the game, you will Discover three out of the 8 other playable classes. Choose one to fill your deck with additional random cards of the second class you chose.
Pick Warlock, get Renounce Darkness, technically you now have three classes
Dual class cards incoming
A new patch is rolled out, 5.0.1

Why C'thun's eye and not the nice, square Hearthstone app icon?

Realistically, what are the "Must-Have" legendaries for Control Warrior? Or is it unrealistic to try to play that until you have a sizeable collection?
Whats the "Bare bones" for control?

I'd argue Justicar and Grommash. Grom is almost eternally present in CW lists and Justicar has proven extremely powerful. Rag is also an occasionally staple because it's a win condition.
It's possible to play a more affordable version of Control Warrior, but the fact that you typically need to supplement your Legendary Neutrals with a bunch of Epics means Control Warrior is sort of a lofty initial goal until you have a larger collection.

C'thun Warrior might be a good avenue to persue since the two decks play similarly and you can get C'Thun for free.

"Hearhstone Subforum Rules" is missing a T, just a little heads up.

grom + justicar = the main 2
both are pretty much a win condition
you obviously need his epics, like brawl, 2 shield slams, and a gorehowl
sylvannas = amazing card, pretty great on any class
ysera = pretty great card vs control, game winning if they don't have removal
baron = amazing vs aggro, decent vs everything else
cairne = great card, bad vs rogue and good vs pretty much everything else
rag = amazing card, works vs pretty much anything and is great on multiple classes
elise = another win condition, very good vs control and ok vs aggro since it's a 4 mana body
harrison = solid tech card, obviously not a must but pretty great vs weapon classes and an ok card vs others
obviously there's a ton of other options (nzoth, various dragons, etc), but those are the main ones you see in the decks.
Gadgetzan and Conceal is fucking busted and the definition of anti-fun.
honestly, gadgetzan isn't even the problem
it's mostly conceal
stealth is just a bad mechanic when you can apply it to any other minion(especially when it's cheap in a class full of cheap spells) there's a reason master of disguise got changed. There was a plethora of really good cards for it with this new expansion.
I love the idea of stealth, but it should be expensive and mostly a gimmick when applied to other minions. Master of disguise will never see play as conceal is 10x better.
conceal on a leeroy
conceal on a giant edwin
conceal on just a normal board
Frost nova is an INSANELY good card, and conceal is basically rogue's version of it.
It's like a frost nova for 1 mana most of the time, and even better as it blocks your minions from spell damage(that isn't aoe)
Yeah, stealth is definitely the issue here. Whenever a Rogue drops Gadgetzan I think to myself "well he's gonna have a huge card advantage but I should be able to kill it on my turn." But then they Conceal it and that thought becomes "oh...well, good game."
