My method for saving gold has been to just play every three days to clean up daily's, ideally around Tavern Brawl. Now that the expansion is basically confirmed I've stopped buying arenas and I'm sitting on the 2k gold I've got. I had a really good method back when I was in College and LoE came out where I could somehow get the 700 gold almost weekly but I was probably just playing a lot on the bus. Getting a big boon in arena with like 8-12 wins is usually a prime time to stop buying stuff and just sit on gold.
Enchanted Raven power creeeep Also those Legendaries seem, er, situational
1 mana 2/2. Time for another few months of Hmm, Well Played.
anyone list the cards i missed the stream
I nabbed the cards revealed on stream and made some quick notes. I'm pretty tired so I may have missed something. Here's all the cards revealed in the stream: [t]http://i.imgur.com/yfHi2Nx.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/odJmKf9.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/LZHjKPK.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/HpGHKVE.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/alyputP.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/Ul2maLs.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/huQWr3p.png[/t] Note: There will be five total portals according to Frodank. Tower Adventure Ascends upward rather than downward and has a free prologue adventure creating a total of 5 wings. Adventure has 45 total cards with the two free cards being Firelands Portal and the Raven. Expansion launches in two weeks from now on August 11th. Purchasing the whole expansion on week 1 will earn you a cardback.

The Curator is the ultimate Tutor card and I love it.
Official Karazhan site: http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en/expansions-adventures/one-night-in-karazhan/ [t]http://i.imgur.com/fZHz4wv.png[/t] tbh this is how I feel at parties most of the time.
I wish they released full versions of their trailer songs. They really do them good.
Ivory Knight looks really good on paper but Paladin has plenty of 1 mana spells which might make it fizzle enough to be less desirable than the other healing options. Probably my favorite card revealed so far tho.
Now that I see that Karazhan has a disco theme, I'm not feeling upset that it isn't a panda adventure anymore.
Portals Everywhere: This party is so intense, it’s warping the very fabric of space and time to bring in more guests! Use the new portal spell cards to unleash the magic and summon random minions to the field.
:disgust:

Enchanted Raven seems really good. Curving that into the the buff that draws a card could be insane Barnes seems... Bad? Like unless you have very few minions Curator seems neat, and I'm sure there will be more Dragons and Murlocs released this expansion to go with it They talked a big game about Kindly Grandmother on stream but the Midrange Hunter 2-drop space is super competitive right now Ivory Knight seems neat, more consistent but less efficient Tuskarr Jouster that also gets you a spell Firelands Portal seems like a great effect for a lot of mana. Would it fit into any real Mage decks? I dunno, but getting off of Ethereal Conjuror or something could be good The Rogue card seems mediocre
Rogue cards seems to be leading into something else. It's way to specific for just Huckster and Burgle. I imagine there's going to be some kind card that gives you a copy of a random card from your opponents hand/deck at the end of your turn. [editline]29th July 2016[/editline] Ivory Knight will be trash I think, Paladin has more 1 mana spells than anything.

Straight up better Pit Fighter for Rogue? Not that people really use Pit Fighter
As I said, Curator is the greates Tutor card, and this is because of it's flexiblity. It's also the first real multi-tribe supporter card, and it's mainly a powerful draw Engine. The deckbuilding possiblities, flavour, amazing art. IMO Curator wins this for me just because of design, no matter how competetive is it going to be. Barnes has amazing potential for deckbuilding and Malygos decks especially, a 4 mana Malygos could be great, or even just an Azure Drake could be good enough to run him there. Otherwise I can see him in Deathrattle decks since he will most likely summon an additional Deathrattle card to fuel N'Zoth, and even if it doesn't I think most classes can live with a 3/4 and a 1/1 (a.k.a the split Yeti stats). They have to release more Burgle and Huckster-like cards (minimally in the future). I doubt they would otherwise even print Ethereal Peddler. That being said, the fact that it has great stats and effect when it goes off makes me hopeful for it, but I do not think Peddler alone will be enough to even consider running the Rogue deck it has to be in. The effect just doesn't seem to be much impactful if not stolen by Priest. Ivory Knight just looks weak to me. A 6 mana 4/4 guarantees a tempo suicide so it's a control-locked card since there are not many spells that can give you tempo back. The dream is Lay on Hands, picking anything of cost lower than 6 Mana is already going to make the card be weak, you might be forced to pick a dead card (Anyfin is Awesome comes particulary to mind), Paladin has many 1 cost cards.. unless they introduce the other two cards as high-cost spells, I don't see a future for this card anywhere. It has too much quirks to be competetive. Only Beast Druid is going to play Enchanted Raven, for all other decks Living Roots is way better. Atleast until Living Roots rotate out. Card is otherwise going to be absurd if you have a Mark of Y'Shaarj as a followup, it's definitely going to be awesome in Arena. Kindly Grandmother is a reverse Huge Toad, except you can aim the 1 Mana ping at the cost of initially playing the 1 Mana ping instead of a 3/2. I think it's going to be on par with Huge Toad if anything, those two cards will swap depending on what class is going to be dominant. Firelands Portal is the dream followup to Faceless Summoner.
Nah with toad and elekk grandmother won't see play until they cycle out. [editline]29th July 2016[/editline] Its a huge temp killer. Play 1-1, attack (non face only) get a 3-2 that you can't use that turn, attack. Toad has guaranteed 1 damage whereas people can deal with the 1-1 and 3-2 before they can attack.
Anyone want to guess the othe Legendaries? We know Curator and Barnes, and Moroes is listed as a new Legendary on the site I presume Malchezzar will be one since they always have the final boss be a card, but then I dunno? Netherspite? Assuming there will be five in four wings like LoE I assume the fifth would be gotten at the same time as Malchezzar much like Elise and Rafaam
Shade of Aran or Netherspite for a Legendary minion. Would prefer Shade of Aran.

He's 'missing' throughout the adventure and on one of the teasers of the wings the final boss was the only character whose portrait was not revealed. Malchezzar is also the first technical boss, being the character you fight in the prologue so he's out.
I wonder why blizz wants RNG mage made pretty much only out of common cards to be a thing. They release a new card for it every single expansion. There's unstable portal, flamewaker, spellslinger, ethereal conjurer, faceless summoner and now the firelands portal. They also all happen to be great arena cards. It's like they just don't give a fuck about arena balance, they somehow have to be common.
ethereal conjurer, faceless summoner and spellslinger are alright imo. but if it was up to me, flamewaker and unstable portal would never have made it into the game

[sp]They showed a face covered in darkness, and it was an eredar face and it had green stuff coming out of it's eyes and the things eredars have on their chin. Malchezaar is returning in some way, but it may feature Medivh as a component.[/sp]
It occurred to me, regardless of who the final boss is, Malchezzar will almost certainly still end up being a card right? Would he be only the second neutral demon after Illidan? That could be fun Also hopefully Bane of Doom buff? :v:
Literally the first card he draws after I play Iron Juggernaut (on turn 1, btw) is the fucking mine [editline]30th July 2016[/editline] He conceded right after
The reveals are neat so far but I'm worrying priest is gonna get garbage
Barnes seems... Bad? Like unless you have very few minions
I have to disagree with that. Midrange hunter has Fiery bat, Huge toad, Kindly grandmother, Infested wolf and Savannah highmane so it's over 50% chance of synergy, and that's without adding independently strong deathrattle cards like Sylvanas. Another great candidate for Barnes is the N'Zoth paladin. Imagine getting Tirion, Ragnaros (normal or Lightlord), Sylvanas or Twilight summoner and even if the coin flip fails, 3/4 + 1/1 for 4 mana isn't terrible. Maybe some rogue shenanigans with Auctioneer, Xaril, tomb pillager, N'zoth as a shadowstep target etc. or Malygos Shaman with a semi-reliable mini-Malygos... I'm not saying it's going to game breaking or anything, but I can imagine it being strong especially in deathrattle decks. Edit: And who knows what new Barnes synergy cards we'll get? If the first seconds of the trailer are correct and we'll get the 7 mana 2/4 almost-Juliet with crappy stats so the effect will be really strong. I'm guessing a Stalagg & Feugen type of twin synergy with almost-Romeo and almost-Juliet where the Barnes clone will also trigger the synergy.
I can't wait to try out the Curator in a Reno hunter deck, that card will fit in perfectly. Hunter already struggles with draw, so being able to draw 3 (or even 2) is pretty amazing. It's also a defensively statted taunt, which is what you want in a control deck. When you think about the cards that you want to draw with it, you're always gonna have some beasts and Finley in your deck. The 2dmg AOE murloc might also be worth considering, and Azure drake is another easy include. I know Reno hunter will probably never be a viable high tier deck, but it's always fun trying to turn the meme into a dream.
