I don't play Arena very often because I never get past three wins but decided to give it a go - got two Firelands Portals and this happened my first game

The other day while playing Arena, I ran into two rogues in a row who BOTH played turn 1 swashburglar and BOTH got Tirion from it. The worst part is the second rogue played turn 5 ethereal peddler on top of that, meaning he got to drop Tirion on turn 6. Let's just say that run didn't get very many wins
Arena is in a pretty bad state, but I had stopped HS for a while and farmed the whole adventure in arena week by week, it was kind of fun since it was for an objective (the adventure), not just for mindlessly stacking gold.
Can't wait for the changes though, those awful cards won't be missed at all.
Also if you can't consistently get past 3 wins my recomendation is to download some tier list helper, like the Hearthstone Deck tracker plugin (by ADWCTA and Merps) or the HearthArena Companion, pick the most valuable cards and the most op classes (Rogue, Mague, Pally), trade smart, play around literally nothing and you'll get 5-6 wins consistently in no time.
I tried downloading Heartharena but it didn't seem to work :(
I don't know, I can barely get to 3 wins consistently but sometimes I just hit a streak with a deck I don't think is very good and get like 8-9
I should try HearthArena again though

Drew violet illusionist and just whacked every single minion he played while being immune, worth it
I just had a burgle Rogue vs. shadowform Priest match where my Yogg Astral communioned 3 N'Zoth's (Thistle tea), he cast 4 Shadowforms (2 normal, 2 from Yogg) and I ended up outhealing the priest with Flash heals and Darkshire Alchemists that were bounced back to my hand with Priest's Sap (that was discounted by 2 Ethereal Peddlers).

Welp, that tournament almost sounded really cool, but then they went and gutted Rogue for no reason.
To be fair those are bans picked by the competitors, so whoever that guy is must just [I]really[/I] not like fighting Rogues

Struggling to word what I mean but it's kinda bothering me that a lot of the competitor ban choices are tools? Banning Innervate and Preparation is weird

Chakki, StrifeCro and Tides are all there and fairly well known, although Tides has been busy doing other things and being generally kinda odd.
Fire Bat himself has said this is more just the first step in what it hopefully a string of tournaments with varying formats and rules, similar to Challengestone.
Anyways, I'm bored, so enjoy some poorly thought out DC Comics characters as Warrior Legendaries!

What do you mean by unsheathed? Like if they hit your Hero they take damage?
The "Opened Treasure Chest" reminds me of the "Pharoah's Treasure" card from Yu-Gi-Oh. If you play it, it shuffles back into your deck. When drawn again, you get to choose any card from your graveyard to add to your hand. We haven't seen any "choose from your deck/graveyard" cards yet. Wonder if it would be too strong.

Blizzard said they dont have graveyards, when a spell is played or a minion is removed from the board it's in mtg terms "Exiled" gone for the rest of the game. they want to keep the game simple.
