(Corrupted Seer is a card I've been surprised by it's usage lately, apparently some people have liked using it as the Murloc in Curator packages? Seems kinda sketchy to me but it's not that bad a card so I dunno)
Playing some deathrattle rouge, got a Moat Lurker from Journey Below and the return to hand toxin from my Xaril.

this deck is fun.
Just lost to a Hunter playing a deck with no minions but Barnes and Y'Shaarj. Entire gameplan I assume is to Barnes into the big man, get the real big man, and watch your opponent concede.
Can't imagine it's very consistent.

That doesn't even sound good if you pull it off? Like, you get a big minion that doesn't do anything, vulnerable to any removal whatsoever

Unfortunately I was playing a Reno Druid and didn't have my one Mulch on turn 4.

Yeah, that's kind of why it's good
nobody keeps hard removal against hunter, and a 28 spell hunter deck works well independently of the combo
I know I'm beating a dead horse, but I need to get this out of my system:
Fuck Shaman.
Fuck Tunnel troggs, Totem golems, 1 mana 3/3 Fiery war axes, 1 mana Arcane blast powercreep, Tuskarrs with 3/3 or or card draw, 0 mana 5/5, 4 7/7, 1 mana 3 damage Rockbiters and fuck 5 mana 16 face damage hammers (999 damage with rockbiters).
Edit: Just played 2 mana Fire elemental and Ragnaros Lightlord as Rogue, which kind of returned 10% of Shaman's bullshittery back to them. To heck with Shamans anyway.

dr boom isn't really a problem in wild
nearly every class has an easy way to deal with it without little resources (some require killing boombots but that shouldn't typically be too hard).
priest -- lightbomb
warrior - any whirlwind effect + execute
shaman -- maelstrom portal / hex
rogue -- xD!
paladin - aldor / humility / equality + x / keeper of uldaman
hunter -- deadly shot / hunter's mark / call of the wild with literally any minion on the board cleanly kills boom, and can soak up the boombot hits
druid -- mulch. swipe + wrath. Yogg (good design blizzard)
mage -- Has the most tools, no reason to list literally every mage card.
Warlock -- Has actual healing in wild...so control decks are a thing. Has a lot of ways to deal with it.
also dr boom isn't nearly as tempo swingy as yogg or a good barnes

Finally got the Spire, after not having enough when it came out and getting impatient and spending all my gold on packs
Anybody have any good deck ideas for Medivh? I want to try him out, but I'm coming up blank for any decks that wouldn't be served better by Ragnaros instead
I know they're not directly comparable, but they're both big 8-drops for slower decks and will probably end up serving the same purposes with my limited collection

I wanted to use some of the new cards and see what I could do, this is the result:

My favorite thing about [B]discover[/B] cards is you are more likely to get a legendary card that you don't have but will save you. I discovered Ragnaros, Lightlord, managed to heal me and put the enemy hero in a bad situation.

i wasn't on board with the whole 'do something about yogg' train, but after getting to rank 3, and losing 4 fucking games in a row because, with lethal on board, my opponent with nothing, and then playing yogg and just winning the game, holy shit, something needs to be done

Really because like 70% of the time when I play yogg it either draws me to death, heals the opponent or buffs all of his minions.
I've never played a burgle Rogue deck that hasn't got insane legendaries or game winning conditions from stealing mechanics.
I hate playing against this deck, its not fun at all.
I had an opposing Warrior last night in a fatigue matchup play Yogg. He was at like 8hp and into fatigue. Guess what the first card is that Yogg plays? Sprint.

i DE'd every single naxx and gvg card i had when standard came out (haven't regretted it so far), but i don't think i'll do the same next year. loe and tgt have some of my favorite cards; i'll be sad to see reno, justicar and brann go

I really like the embodiment of some of the character concepts in the card effects, but oh boy would some of those be trash tier if they were real cards :v: I'm assuming you went more with form over function.

I kind of agree but also I don't think I'd be able to keep up with getting new Legendaries if I don't disenchant my Wild Legendaries
As much as I love my Brann, him + Reno/Elise/Finley is 1600 dust alone

Summon Gold Phantom and Invade Minion are actually really cool ideas, although they would probably be pretty weird as is
Abusive, Rockbiter and Execute should have been already changed.
Call of the Wild and Tuskarr Totemic should have been printed this way from the beginning (and I say both cards will still see play just because they are so good, even if your Tuskarr can't instawin on turn 3 since it keeps fueling your 0 Mana 5/5).
Poor Charge. Atleast it can be used as a board control tool now???
Tuskarr's probably dead now, it just doesn't seem very good
Call of the Wild still seems good, and now Medivh curves into it cleanly! (I am probably the only person who plays Medivh in Midrange Hunter)
Abusive seems fine, it'll still see play in zoo type decks but it isn't an auto include in aggro anymore
Rockbiter and Execute still seem like they'll see play, I agree with pip that they should've been changed a while ago
I dunno that Charge was actually a problem? Combo Warrior wasn't [I]that[/I] annoying. At least it was a sidegrade rather than a straight nerf
I kinda like the Yogg change. Keeps the randomness intact for those who play it for fun while making it less competitively viable
I agree with most of those nerfs, but goddamn why'd they have to butcher charge? It made one of the most fun and challenging to play decks possible, and it wasn't even too powerful. I really don't like this "fun and interactive" idea that the game should be all about minion on minion combat, when 90% of the ladder decks right now already play that way.
