Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft V4 - We're gonna be RICH!

The new Brawl is literally Karazhan chess boss battle.
The Black King has the same Hero Power as the Heroic White King - to move a minion left, and both have 10 Health.

I was wondering when we were going to see this. Neat.
In my experience so far, whoever draws the healer first wins.
Things I'm not going to miss soon, number 1:

Im somewhat new to Hearthstone and I have pulled my third Legendary (First 2 came from the welcome pack: Prophet Velen and Onyxia)

Playing a bit of chess, people seem really obsessed with getting their 3-mana minions out early, while having a full board very quickly is much more important. I've won a lot of games by simply tanking damage with bishops and pawns while putting rooks or queens at the sides. 10 health is gone really fast.

God dammit, playing at low ranks can be surprisingly infuriating. You find all these seemingly awful decks/ones that would be awful at even marginally higher ranks (like this Priest who played nothing for 5 turns and then played Emperor, Resurrected him twice, and is also running 2 Mind Controls...), and then you lose to them.
:suicide:
The trick at low ranks is to just play aggressive decks and get the hell out of there ASAP. If you play aggro, it's the easiest games of your life, they can't handle it at all.
Just don't try to mess around and build slow, grindy decks, rank 20 players will always find a way to outgreed you. Especially don't try to heavily tech against aggro, that's guaranteed to lose you games. You can try new deck ideas once you reach higher ranks when there's an established meta to build against, at low ranks you'll just get memed on by the most unexpected shit.

Play a minion before turn 6? You better believe that's not happening. Play PW:Shield on my own minion? You better believe that's not happening.

Do not play this deck.

What are you supposed to do about epics? I don't want to spend half a legendary to craft a set and it's kind of difficult to unpack them
[editline]12th October 2016[/editline]
Also how throughout my entire hearthstone career (off and on since closed beta) have I never unpacked an Azure Drake or a Wild Pyromancer???
As it turns out Medivh into Firelands Portal into Firelands Portal in Arena is pretty good.

Luckily most Epics are pretty garbage
That being said you should just bite the bullet and craft the ones you need
Things like Doomsayer and the Warrior Epics are too important to the decks they belong in, you can't just ignore them
Getting all the giants was a long and miserable struggle

:tableflip:
My last 2 epics have both been for the Paladin, a class I don't play. ;_;
3 out of my last 8 legendaries have been The Beast.

The other 5 included Illidan, Anomalus and Captain Greenskin.
Holy shit, The Beast + Purify VALUE???

I feel you man, my last two legendaries have been a second Barron Gheddon, and a second Deathwing v2.
Is it even possible for Miracle Rogue to beat Freeze Mage? Jesus fucking christ.
How's shadow priest in the current meta?
How's shadow priest in the current meta?
Way too slow and still not a thing, sadly.
One day, perhaps
The only somewhat viable priest deck at the moment is Dragon Priest.
I'm really hoping control becomes the next big thing in the next standard/wild rotation
I'm really hoping control becomes the next big thing in the next standard/wild rotation
Good aggro decks are basically always going to dominate the lower part of the meta as it's just faster to ladder with them
Why play a control deck where you win your 30 minute games when you can fit 3 wins and 2 losses in that amount of time with an aggressive one
Aggro decks are also just cheaper
They require way more Epics and Legendaries to be good and like TrafficMan was saying earlier Epics especially can fall by the wayside when you're growing your collection
Shaman just needs to not exist for the game to have a reasonable meta.
