Hello Neautral(?) War Tree
10 Armor? Fatigue C'Thun Warrior has become a reality. Also Midrange C'Thun Warrior, since Shield Slam and Execute exist and both are pretty good removals tempo-wise. With the buffing cultists that have vanilla-test passing stats we may see a midrange Warrior.
I am completely reading it wrong. Holy fuck definite Control Warrior.
yeah I don't think control warrior can fit all those C'Thun buffs + C'Thun himself in the deck.
Reno warrior with c'thun maybe. Having brann with it too would be hilarious. I don't think you'd run shield slam in midrange decks, (patron proving this before, save a few odd lists) making that new card pretty meh. Maybe we get more cards that use armor though.
its gonna be more of a midrange deck because of all the low cost cthun minions.
Again I fucked up and confused the effect with the War Tree.

The eye for an eye one is perfect.
I don't think C'Thun decks can be viable. Once those minions start coming out and you see C'Thun get buffed through the portal, any sane person will save some removal to instantly deal with it the moment it comes out. It's basically just a "10 mana: deal X damage spread over all enemy minions" spell.
yeah but shooting out like 10+ arcane missiles is pretty strong, especially in a midrange type deck where you will have been keeping the pressure up on your opponent the whole game with the cultists

Right now Druid and Warrior seem to be the only "viable" decks for these, by either getting them out early or stalling for them. At least C'Thun has immediate board impact, so it still does something before being removed.
We've only seen the Druid/Warrior interactions with C'Thun so far, we've got no idea what the other classes might get. Like how Mage was pretty much the only class using mechs thanks to Blastmage & Chugga Chugga.
C'Thun decks seem like they're all going to be samey.
tbh a 20 dmg cthun coupled with pyroblast could really fuck someone up
mirror image vs c'thun decks

Very VERY fun times ahead. Please add some armor piercing cards holy shit.
Did nobody post this one yet or am I blind? [editline]16th March 2016[/editline] Not blind but apparently I can't copy/paste image urls for some reason :v: Cthuns Servant?
already posted 4/2 with divine shield right? [editline]16th March 2016[/editline]
Also, a new card was revealed from a Chinese fansite: C'Thun's Minion 4 Mana 4/2 Neutral Common Minion Divine Shield, Battlecry: Give your C'Thun +2/+2 (wherever it is).
.
Drafted Kodo Rider, 2 Murloc Knights, 2 Mukla's Champions, and Maiden of the Lake for Arena. I feel so dirty at how often I can flood the board and how well it's working out. [t]http://i.imgur.com/ed7ndga.jpg[/t] [editline]16th March 2016[/editline] Yesssss My first 12-win Arena run (albeit with a cancerous Paladin deck): [t]http://i.imgur.com/SChDEdr.png[/t]
So I found this cute art on r/gaming [t]http://i.imgur.com/1GkiD6t.jpg[/t]
I hope not every cthun card is give +x to cthun I want something that gives him divine shield or a deathrattle. Rogue w/ shadowstep + cthun might end up being pretty good.
The Mistcaller's buff and Bolvars buff disappear when they are returned to your hand, I doubt cthun will be any different. Also, I don't think divine shield will do much on your 20/20 minion.
Wasn't it confirmed that C'thun would keep it's buffs when it's bounced back to your hand?
interestingly enough i think that reno doesn't work amazingly well in C'Thun decks if you're relying on c'thun, unless we're going to see a lot more buff creatures, you absolutely NEED to draw those ones that you do have, meaning you're probably going to be running 2 of them judging by the minions that BECOME effective when you have a buffed C'thun, if you don't draw those buff creatures then the C'Thun deck basically loses because you'll be playing on vanilla value alone
So I played the new tavern brawl and got Beneath the Grounds, which I played pretty much the moment I got it. 2 turns later I got thoughtsteal, which I played and got this in my hand: [T]http://i.imgur.com/MpxHgzb.png[/T] I played it the same turn (for science). Turns out, if you play Ambush from your hand it does nothing...

Forbidden Shaping is a nice card to fit into the Randiun Wrynn archetype. In all honesty I have no idea where else I would fit that in Priest with already so many good cards on the table. Forbidden Flame looks like an interesting addition to Mage in general, but I'm not sure if X mana deal X damage will be viable enough compared to the Top-Tier clears that are Frostbolt, Fireball or even Flame Lance if we go that far.
I can honestly see the Priest card working in any deck, whether late game or the first few turns - sometimes you've got nothing to play on a turn and this could be an interesting fall back I mean, stuff like Museum Curator may not fit every structure but it's still nice to usually include one
hnnng that priest card
