Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft V4 - We're gonna be RICH!

So the next card revealed from Whispers of the Old Gods is going to be the Aquatic Faceless One weilding Shadow Energy. Anderonie is from China so is anyone speaking Chinese?
I've played three games so far - lost twice as Rafaam and won once as KT, it's much easier to keep board control as the latter and the former really needs a few whole board removals
The upgraded hero power is super cool but it's really impractical to play the upgrades early on if it means you don't get to play anything else that turn
Yeah it's really clear who this Brawl favors.
Unlike the Rag vs Nef brawl where either could win depending on how you played your side, here it's summon good minions, then play Necromancy to bring them back. While with Rafaam it's upgrade the staff two times, then pray to god you get good legends.
Hmm, even if I pretty much never plan on playing warrior, is it worth it to keep this Geddon I just got? Like, is it useful in any decks outside of control Warrior?

Nope.
He might see some use in standard format but that seems unlikely.

Hey, I finally won as Rif-Raf! All it took was:
1. Getting a Blingtron from my hero power and it giving him Power Mace
2. Him being stupid enough to summon Rasuvious while he had the Power Mace equipped, thereby replacing his hero power
3. Continuously managing to get taunts
4. Kezan Mystic getting me Counterspell instead of Dupe or Disintegrate, which nullified his eight mana monstrosity
5. Him never attacking me with his Hero Power three times despite me being at 6 health for most of that game
So in other words, PURE SKILL

Hearthstone commisoned another episode of Lore of the Cards from SixGamers (go watch that series if you want some WoW lore connected with Hearthstone cards). It's about N'Zoth.
It shows the full artwork of N'Zoth.
Patiently waiting for this card to get sent to the grave

I can't stop thinking about how silly N'Zoth's First Mate is.
Chuckling every time I scroll past it.

Nice art, but the lore described is different now according to the new chronicles. It was Yogg who corrupted the Emerald dream initally for example - not N'Zoth.
Also, you can open that puzzle box. It is a very low chance to do it though.

Would you still have been annoyed if they'd played this against your Edwin instead?

Like I don't mean this in a snarky way - I'm curious as to how people view removals cards in relation to BGH
BGH also gets a minion on the board that trades favorably with other minions, all for 3 mana
At least I am given to understand that that's the problem, I'm always so behind on cards that I've never actually crafted it to put into my deck and I don't actually see it that often myself, so I could be wrong
BGH is the most annoying card ever, it removes a big threat and gives you a body on the board that is quite intimidating as it hits for 4, all this for 3 mana which leaves you with enough mana to make a huge swing in boardcontrol. this single card either forces you to never play big stuff or play a deck so full of big stuff removal runs out before you run out of targets which will probably make you lose long before that since you have a very small chance to get an early presence in the game.

Assassinate both costs more mana and doesn't but a body on the board. That's fine.
if BGH was removed handlock would be so much harder to beat lmao
that card exists as a failsafe for turn 4 giants or turn 3 8/8 edwins
it needs tweaking but its a card that needs to exist
It limits design, and I think it's too easy to use. It does so much for next to nothing.
jesus fuck

i'm a god
Also stole his counterspell the next. Pretty good.
Did you... Build a deck around that? Or did you just put that many secrets in anyways?
Did you... Build a deck around that? Or did you just put that many secrets in anyways?
full gimmick deck around that
actually was on a 7 win streak with it lmfao
also have a full mage deck like that
I can post a decklist if you'd like, the hunter deck basically revolves around confusing the fuck out of your opponent while killing all their shit with infinite eaglehorn bow charges
if you don't get MC off grand crusader, there's some other decent shit. Paladin secrets are actually good, since they are more charges. Full gimmick, but its fun.

Really looking forward to TGT 2.0!
Edit:
Never mind, it's been confirmed to be fake.

Call it crap, but I just love the idea of a Turn-5 Polluted Creeper + Cold Blood. You basically get a 6/5 for one card and a random-Fireball for another :excited: (Even if that's unreliable)
It's Rumbling Elemental!
but... worse?

Why make it a 2/5 instead of a 2/6 like Rumbling elemental? There's less cards that exist with Combo than there are with Battlecry, and you need to use at least one card a turn before you can trigger the creeper's effect!
Also missed opportunity for not calling it "Foul Creeper" or something.

Cheap Combo cards coming in this set maybe. Maybe some 1 mana combo cards that can be cheated in for sick tempo plays.

It's an Axe Tosser, but worse!

Anderonie got a pretty interesting card tho.
(If it's translated correctly, that is.)
Faceless Shambler
4m 1/1 Taunt, Battlecry: Copy the Health and Attack of a friendly minion.
Loving this new brawl. RAFAAM THE SUPREME ARCHAEOLOGIST! is a beast in the late game. You just have to hard mulligan for Entomb, Blood Goblet, or Lady Naz'Jar to remove Hagen, Feugen/Stalag, the guy who gives everone +1/+1.

If it limits design, turn 4 giants do too.
so a 4mana faceless with taunt that can only target friendlys? tf?
