Well I guess 800 of my dust is gone to two goldens of that
Brood of Y'Shaarj, C'Thun and Yoggy when? Baby Yog would just have a gazillion pacifiers. :excited:
https://www.twitch.tv/playhearthstone new card at the asia championship sometime this weekend, confirmed by frodan.
New Card [t]http://i.imgur.com/ZEenEUO.png[/t]
RNG as heck but seems viable in constructed. Just make a zoolock with a bunch of 1-2 warlock drops, play this and pray that you get decent cards and out-tempo the fuck outta your opponent. Or just play it on turn 2 if you have it (instead of Life Tap), from there you technically have a 1 mana ramp.

This card is useless. The Gruul of Classic packs, the Hemet Nesingwary of GvG packs, the Skeleton Knight of TGT packs. Blizzard has a weird habit of having one useless legendary per whole set, but this one sets the bar really high, it makes Hemet look playable. EDIT: English name is "The Boogeymonster". More like The Boogeydust.
Ever wonder if Blizzard intentionally design some wacky, inefficient, bad cards just to spice up the RNG? Every single revealed card is only assessed on the "constructed or arena" level. Maybe bad cards are destined to be tokens.
This card is literally a worse Gruul, wtf. Not only does it starts with less attack, it also won't grow as fast even in the best case scenario (unless you give it windfury I guess). What on Earth were they thinking when they designed this?
Holy shit Gothik is so OP. I just won two games in a row by literally not playing any cards other than Gothric, Duplicate and the hero power. When Rafaam starts taking 10+ damage a turn just from the spectrals there is no coming back. Edit: Three
What exactly does it mean by 'monstrosity'? It could be referring to C'Thun, or something.
'The Boogeymonster'? I know Hearthstone is supposed to be lighthearted and wacky, but really? N'ZOTH, THE CORRUPTOR and The Boogeymonster. And 8 mana? Yes, I'd love a worse Gruul. Ragnaros the Firelord? Nuh-uh I'll take the Boulderfist. Tirion? Get that weak shit outta here.
I don't play Hearthstone at all, but is there a general conscious on Blizzard trying to make it an e-sport? (compared to your opinion on e-sports in general, because I mean if you hate the idea of an e-sport altogether then you'll probably hate this too) I don't know a lot about the game I just hear it's very RNG-ey, but if someone with better game knowledge can tell me about the e-sport aspect that would be great
If it buffed cthun it would be even worse
it should buff itself and cthun at the same time. and even then it wouldn't see play
it should buff itself and cthun at the same time. and even then it wouldn't see play
It could be +4/+4 per kill and still wouldn't see play.
I don't think blizzard have ever been trying to turn hearthstone in to an esport. They just started supporting it after high level competition became popular in the community. I don't see any issue with it. There's a big audience for hearthstone esports, and it hasn't damaged any other part of hearthstone. Hearthstone isn' too RNG-ey for an esport, the consistently best players manage to get around a 60% winrate in tournaments. Which is a bit lower than other esports, but not really too low.
If people enjoy Hearthstone as an esports that's perfectly fine and it can be fun to watch pros against each other But couldn't you lose due to things outside of your control? I imagine that would be soo frustrating
It could be +4/+4 per kill and still wouldn't see play.
it could be +20/+20 and it still wouldn't see play card doesn't do anything the turns its played, needs a very specific thing to proc, and kvaldir raider is much more consistent.
I made a tutorial for the current brawl, pls rate 5/5 favorite and subskripe

I imagine that would be soo frustrating
As someone who came from Magic: The Gathering, the RNG puts me on such tilt I'm surprised my head hasn't exploded yet. It is what has convinced me that Hearthstone is actually just inferior for competitive play. But at the same time, the RNG has made some of the single most fun games of Hearthstone I have ever played. The game is casual and that's what Blizzard was aiming for when making it, and I think that's perfectly fine. It's so easy for people to access, which I honestly can't say the same for Magic. [editline]25th March 2016[/editline] I also like how both Magic and Hearthstone aren't mutually exclusive. I literally go to my local game store and in-between matches of actual Magic I play Hearthstone on my phone. :v:
Everybody keeps saying that Rafaam is terrible and can't win but most of my wins have been with Rafaam. Maybe it's my RNG with the staff pieces or that my opponents can't play, I dunno. Also in the first Rag vs Nefarian brawl I won as Ragnaros a lot more consistently while everyone was saying that Nefarian is OP. However when they used the brawl a second time I suddenly started winning as Nefarian a lot more and losing as Rag.
if you're winning a lot with Rafaam then you're playing against terrible opponents. It's almost impossible for KT to lose if someone competent is using him.
Can we conclude that KelThuzad is the better endboss then? Blizzard be biased.
How to be unbeatable as KT: only play minions that don't pollute your resurrect pool with low value crap. Then just resurrect shit and overwhelm Rafaam because he doesn't have enough boardclears. That means you only play things things like Gothik, Faerlina, Feugen, Stalagg, Loatheb, even Dark Cultist is pretty decent. Big minions that spawn smaller ones aren't worth playing unless you absolutely have to or you're setting up lethal. I'm 8-1 as KT so far and I lost one only because I had absolutely awful draws. I didn't get any of the good minions, so I had to play the one that spawns 3/1s and I kept resurrecting those little shits all the time. It didn't help that my opponent got some godlike RNG with his legendaries, he got Paletress, then a Tirion and Sylvanas from her before I could establish a decent board, and I couldn't clear any of his shit. Every other game I've played as KT has been a clean sweep in my favor. As Rafaam, I've only won one so far. I upgraded my staff fully pretty early and my opponent blew his "destroy a minion" spell early, then I played steel sentinel and kept controlling the board with it. Then I RNG'd my way into Saraad, got Dark Wispers from it, so my sentinel became a 10/8 taunt. I also had a bunch of other trash on board so I could clear his Maexxnas and other shit that would threaten my sentinel. I was still far away from lethal but the dark wispers made my opponent ragequit because he had no way to deal with it :v:

I'm not sure if the Toxins are that powerful, but Deathrattle Rogue is seemingly getting a big push this expansion and I think it will perform exceptionally well there, as well as in Miracle Rogue. The fact you can get a one mana cantrip (which is insane in Rogue) or a Holy Smite/Arcane Shot (which again, is actually good in Rogue) and the worst you can get is reskinned Finicky Cloakfield gives me very big hope in this card, I think it's one of the best cards so far revealed. Oh and also a Blessing of Might (Briarthorn Toxin) should be extremely good in Miracle.

Combo Enabler: The Minion Fuck yes
Nice, better spare parts.
Insane card. Helps you combo shit later, each toxin is really good. Meh stats, but I think it's passable here.
The class Legendaries all seem super cool so far, I'm super optimistic for my beloved Warlock I do hope we don't learn they're all neat on paper but terrible in practice for some reason nobody thought of
