If you don't want to manually record stats in a spreadsheet, you could install the Hearthstone Deck Tracker: https://github.com/Epix37/Hearthstone-Deck-Tracker It's got a ton of useful features and I'd seriously recommend it!
I already use the innkeeper for deck tracking, and I do have that installed, but I couldn't figure out how to make it do what I want it to, plus I didn't understand a bunch of the overlay options. I suppose I could ask though, how do you make the program check what decks you have? Cause my biggest issue was that it didn't recognize the decks I had, so I had to manually recreate them in the app, which was tedious D;
12-2 with droid: http://imgur.com/a/1XzWH (The 2 losses were to the same rogue that had Ysera)
I just went 11-3 as a Paladin deck that honestly deserved to go all the way, but my internet disconnected one game and I lost at the 11 mark twice to two EXTREMELY aggressive Rogue decks that won off the top of their decks. I don't have the list anymore, but it was the most premium deck I have ever drafted. The two Seal of Champions were also INSANITY in all of my games.
How the hell are you guys so good at Arena D:
Yogg-Saron hype.
Any new cards to anticipate today? And tomorrow?
Yogg-Saron hype.
You can say what you want about the Warcraft lore, but the old gods are without a doubt my favorite part of it. (And the origin of the naga is also cool but Old Gods even more) Were also some of the most fun raids in WoW simply because of the mindfuck gimmicks
As someone who knows nothing about Warcraft lore the Old Gods just look like Lovecraft knockoffs to me.
Any new cards to anticipate today? And tomorrow?
I think we'll see Roger's card today. It's the last reveal from last week's voting pool.
As someone who knows nothing about Warcraft lore the Old Gods just look like Lovecraft knockoffs to me.
As someone who knows some things about Warcraft lore, they are.
New card http://hearthstone.blizzpro.com/2016/04/04/exclusive-reveal-old-gods-common-warrior-card-ravaging-ghoul/

I can't believe Blizzard decided that a decent portion of their brand new expansion debuting in their brand new format was going to be boring flipped versions of existing cards
It could be useful in aggro matchups in pretty much any Warrior, if you can clear your opponent's board with this you get nice value and a tempo swing. In Arena it sounds eh meh. BTW that looks like an Unstable Ghoul turned more? stable.
New card http://hearthstone.blizzpro.com/2016/04/04/exclusive-reveal-old-gods-common-warrior-card-ravaging-ghoul/
Whirlwind + 3/3 body for (2), basically?
The value is kinda shit. The battlecry damaging all other minions means it's a card you'd prefer to play when behind on board control, yet 3 cost 3/3 is kinda just bad. BEST CASE (dream) scenario is you're up against someone who is trying to rush you with a boar, murloc and wolf raider, but otherwise it's nothing amazing, completely prefer the old version, and even that isn't that great [editline]4th April 2016[/editline]
Whirlwind + 3/3 body for (2), basically?
Actually, viewing it as that makes it seem kinda better, I didn't think about how this would stack with acolyte of pain and Grim Patron. I guess some decks could make it work
Blizzard is trying to push Patron and enrage on Warriors, huh? edit: Actually, this is Death's Bite replacement? Whaaaaaaat, not good enough.
How the hell are you guys so good at Arena D:
Luck. Literally all there is to it. Going 3+ wins consistently however comes from the skill you eventually get from grinding out enough games. [editline]4th April 2016[/editline]
New card http://hearthstone.blizzpro.com/2016/04/04/exclusive-reveal-old-gods-common-warrior-card-ravaging-ghoul/
This is better than people are giving it credit for. An Execute enabler on a body that can also clear 1/1s or already damaged minions that has an on-curve body is sweet. This isn't even talking about Acolyte synergy or Wild potential. It's an effect Warrior wants on a decent body. If we were to compare it directly to Whirlwind, then the 3/3 body comes at an extra 2 mana cost. I think this will see play in some way shape or form. Probably in midrange Warrior if it exists would be my guess.
In about 5 years or so, I reckon warrior will have a wild 30 card whirlwind deck
Blizzard is trying to push Patron and enrage on Warriors, huh? edit: Actually, this is Death's Bite replacement? Whaaaaaaat, not good enough.
I don't think Blizzard is trying to 'replace' anything. That's just what the article writer is claiming it is - and he's stupid and wrong for doing so. But it makes sense he wants to hype up his own reveal card for more website intrigue. Losing Death's Bite is a huge hit to Warrior and I don't think this card fills that void. But I think this card fills an entirely different niche altogether. [editline]4th April 2016[/editline]
In about 5 years or so, I reckon warrior will have a wild 30 card whirlwind deck
Whirlwind itself, Revenge, Unstable Ghoul, Sea Reaver(?), Death's Bite, and now Ravaging Ghoul? It's honestly hilarious how many different versions there are of this effect. Those cards alone make up half a deck.
Good in Reno warrior where you don't want 2 revenge and patron where you stack whirlwinds Annoyingly expensive for an execute enabler Power level of this expansion makes me happy I didn't preorder so far
Good in Reno warrior where you don't want 2 revenge and patron where you stack whirlwinds Annoyingly expensive for an execute enabler Power level of this expansion makes me happy I didn't preorder so far
I'm really happy about the power level of this expansion, cause it seems they're aiming more towards "cards will be useful for their unique traits" rather than "cards will be useful for their power curve", which always was annoying. Honestly, if they're gonna model standard the way they are (Basic+Classic being the only permanent entries) those should be like the Stock TF2 weapons, the "highest curve" cards, while the rest are sidegrades for different playstyles and combos. IMO I just don't think you should be forced to play the newest deck if you want to even stand a chance competitively. What'd be most fun would be "crazier" cards, sadly we've not seen a lot of those this expansion.
I remember someone from Blizzard saying that they might have gone a little bit too crazy with this set. Well, I don't see anything crazy or insane, so they were right.
I'm still hoping for Yogg-Saron and Cho'Gall to do something crazy. I want to believe
As someone who knows nothing about Warcraft lore the Old Gods just look like Lovecraft knockoffs to me.
Pretty much all horror take inspiration from Lovecraft one way or another.
New vote up, this time only 4 cards. EDIT: The fifth card (Dog's card) has been appearing and dissapearing, but I can fairly say that it's a Rogue card since it looks like a Thistle Tea.
New card http://hearthstone.blizzpro.com/2016/04/04/exclusive-reveal-old-gods-common-warrior-card-ravaging-ghoul/
Frothing Beserker is gonna like this card.
I wanna see something ridiculous like "Switch out 10 of the cards in your deck with 10 of the cards in your opponents" or just plain fucked shit like that, massive double edged swords. Like, that exact card would promote making decks with crappy cards but you'd be depending on drawing that to even stand a chance. Magic does that shit *really* well, with crazy cards like Door to Nothingness, a card that literally wins you the game but costs 2 of each mana type, is an artifact so it can easily be destroyed et cetera, or Barren Glory, a card that wins you the game if you manage to destroy EVERYTHING YOU HAVE except for it, meaning you need to find a card that can remove all your mana, enchantment, artifacts and creatures before discarding your entire hand (Here is an example where the card One with Nothing can be useful) and in general, while those cards are by no means overpowered, they can be so fucking hilarious if you manage to actually win using them, because the disadvantage is just plain ridiculous some times [editline]o[/editline] Forgot my favorite, Battle of Wits, wins you the game if you have more than 200 cards in your deck, meaning you need to be playing with a deck with over 200 cards for this card to even have value, which is just fucking nuts as the normal deck sizes I see are 40-60
Imagine Barren Glory in Hearthstone. Self-mill Rogue viable?
Imagine Barren Glory in Hearthstone. Self-mill Rogue viable?
Something like it would be cool. Like a 10 cost card that removes all your mana, kills your creatures, discards your entire hand but if your enemy can't kill you in 1-2 turns you win the game. (The reason for it to be 10 cost is that then the enemy has the biggest chance of making big, game-changing plays to counter your win condition)
