Arcane Nullifier X-21: Electric Boogaloo, Tentacle Edition.
Why would you even print it? Would you ever play that over other 9-drops like Ysera, Nefarian, Rafaam, Mal'ganis, Cenarius, Alexstrasza or Anub'arak?
Black Knight is still a thing in both modes, also.
If it ever becomes popular people will just tech Black Knight.
Soggoth's the ultimate waste of 9 mana
It's too bad that all the interesting cards are legendaries that I'll probably never have.
Hmm, Warlock is now tied with Paladin and Warrior for most cards revealed so far at 5 each. Mage and Rogue are the lowest with 2 each
Hopefully one of those two will get the same card dump Warlock just got? Soon?
Soggoth is a pretty decent late game arena card that said
TBH people are discounting the fact that large chunks of sets are clearly designed with arena in mind. A lot of cards that are obvious "bad" for constructed often find some fringe use cases or can end up as decent picks in arena.
TGT for example, most of that set wasn't really that great for constructed but it did huge things to arena. Inspire is an excellent arena mechanic, a way to get "late game" out of a mid/early game card. Obviously though when you are playing constructed, you'd rather just put actual late game minions in.

Well, alot of the cards look good in Constructed as opposed to Arena though. Especially the Old Gods, from which only one might be actually a viable pick (Y'Shaarj).

Nice! I really like cards that can't be targeted by spells or hero powers - there's not very many of them but Faerie Dragon has never let me down especially in early game
I bought League of Explorers with real money (the first time I've sunk money into Hearthstone thus far) and I'm having a blast
the slippery slope is beginning
I feel some people are overhyping Cho'Gall.
I mean yeah, it's a nice tempo drop. It fits well with Warlock.. or it doesn't. Cho'Gall will be run only because Dr. Boom will dissapear from Standard, and Warlock won't get a better option in the 7-cost range than Cho and Gall.
Your main problem is that you have two spells that you can only really cast with Cho'Gall - Siphon Soul and Shadowflame (add Implosion if you are in Wild). All other spells are simply horrible. Too horrible to actually use with Cho'Gall (all demon synergy spells are not worth even a card slot). Sure, you have Siphon Soul which is the only amazing spell with this and Shadowflame can give you 7 mana boardclear, or on 8 mana you can Power Overwhelming + Cho'Gall + Shadowflame the PO'd thing. But that's just it.
Without those spells, Cho'Gall is just going to be too shitty. Board clears will damage Cho'Gall and deal even more damage to your hero when you don't need that. You won't run the horrendous spells which warlocks have with this. This card will be in any Control Warlock, and those won't run Sense Demons or Demonheart.
I like the legendary, but it's not as powerful as some people think. I think it's actually pretty mediocre as a whole, but from what we have seen, there is no other option in the meta where Boom doesn't exist. If we see some more powerful spells revealed that help you turn the tide, than Cho'Gall will become better in my eyes.
I think you're forgetting Bane of Doom. The stats of average demon are pretty high so 2 damage + summoning Jaraxxus/Fearsome Doomguard/Illidan/some new strong WoG demon for 5 hp sounds good to me. Even Demonheart could see some play in Cho'Gall demonlock.
Ninja edit: Damn, standard is losing Mal'Ganis...
voidwalker has purpose in zoo for just being annoying and protecting more threatening minions for a turn
This and helping with the critical mass of cheap expendable minions which Warlock can afford to run due to the class's inherently absurd hero power.
Warlock has waay too many good 1-drops available in vanilla. It doesn't really make sense that they add a new one that is as boring as this.
I like to think of it as a replacement for the haunted creeper in standard.
I like to think of it as a replacement for the haunted creeper in standard.
It's not a replacement at all. It's basically a slightly different Argent Squire, it's a bit better with PO and knife juggler (assuming the upcoming nerf doesn't impact its ability or playability), but worse with Argus. It's gonna provide with you some more choice for 1 drops in zoo, but it doesn't bring anything new to the table and just seems kind of unnecessary.
Had a shitty arena but unboxed a golden Grommash
wot wot
I did it guys

Wow, that's a free[del]Dr Boom[/del]Sylvanas!
You'd be crazy to dust a golden Gromm
You'd be crazy to dust a golden Gromm
He's used only in decks that require a lot of legendaries and other pricey cards.
And not everybody enjoys playing Warrior.

Uhh, patron warrior? It doesn't require many legendaries and it's pretty cheap to build if you already have a Gromm.
I wish I had a Grommash so I could build a decent midrange patron. Right now I'm using the worgen combo version instead. I also unpacked Justicar yesterday which would be an awesome card for me if I could make one of those Elise control decks. Now I just need to get Elise and Gromm first.
actually control warrior has moved away slightly from stacking the deck full of legendaries
control warrior is more affordable now, still expensive though
he is also used in some patron lists which is not a hugely expensive deck either
Someone on reddit made a Yogg-Saron simulator that actually simulates and takes you step-to-step with each spell cast.
Site overloaded in mere minutes.
All golden cards are a waste of dust
except my golden milhouse manastorm
only if you craft them or they're not legendary
gold legendaries are just so rare and the return on disenchanting them just isn't worth it unless it's absolutely garbage tier that will never be used
the return on disenchanting them just isn't worth it unless it's absolutely garbage tier that will never be used
or if you like, don't play the class they're for?
it's not like you're never going to play a certain class, even if you don't play them now, a deck might form that you really like for example

Nah defcon when you're f2p you need to be economical with your dust
I disenchanted: golden The Beast and a golden van Cleef. This is how I got my Dr. Boom and my Sylvana.
I'm going to disenchant (storing them till the expansion): golden Mistcaller (although it depends if I make a shaman deck after the expansion) and a golden Anu'barak.
I'm f2p and I've never disenchanted a golden card.

hmm, I never considered f2p. Yeah if you're f2p then I understand why you'd dust golden legendaries
I'm f2p and I've never disenchanted a golden card.
Why would you do that? Sure it's alright to keep the actually useful golden cards because you wouldn't gain any value by disenchanting them, but if you're not dusting the unplayable ones you're just missing out on a ton dust.
I'm probably dusting a golden Thalnos and a Hogger once the new expansion comes. Hopefully that's enough dust for me to build at least one top tier deck. I just don't have a deck to use Thalnos in, and Hogger is probably never gonna be particularly good, right?
Legendaries shouldn't be made for arena, they are too uncommon.
Lol I just realized it was a legendary
I would rather have two legendaries than a legendary with a yellow border and 400 dust.
disenchanting a golden legendary only gives enough dust to craft one legendary
Are any other classes getting secrets?
I still think it's weird that rogue or warlock doesn't have any secrets
I mean..It's a fricking warlock
