Amnesiac's Elise Warrior list ran a grom though. It's still ran there as a strong removal card, board presence and sometimes you are able to use him +bite for 14 burst to win
That's the thing though, he isn't necessary in that list. I've seen people run Deathwing over him.
It's a Shadow Rager, 3 mana 5/3.
There's a good chance a card with those stats is playable. I shudder the thought.
It's probably-ish a spell.
I remember there being a statement somewhere saying there was only going to be one Dragon in the set, which we've already seen. Gotta be a spell.
Random idea for a card : 7 or 8 mana, 7/7 that summons two, 2/1 "slaves" when played. If the 7/7 dies, the slaves are now controlled by the enemy.

Warning: Slaves may explode.

Forsen already revealed his card though.
Why is the art for a cup of tea so intense though?
Imagine the golden version of that card, it's gonna look like the fucking deathstar.
For more intense tea cups in Blizzard games, check out the Shadowpaw Li Li skin in HoTS. Li Li is a cute pandaren girl throwing healing tea but for some reason she has a "badass" ninja skin with black clothes and a menacing, dragon-patterned black tea pot (0:25).
Back to HS, I guess Blizzard thinks zoo decks are becoming really strong, maybe something like murloc Paladin with Steward of Darkshire. Shadow Word: Fear looks like it's targeted towards bubbled low attack minions and IMO the only case where Spreading Madness is better than a Hellfire is a field full of bubbled squishy enemies. This expansion has some "odd" 1/1 minions (like 4 mana Faceless Shambler and Twilight Summoner) I'm thinking we'll see more Hobgoblin/Steward type 1/1 buffers.
Free dust. Yay!
But.. maybe WotOG will have a really strong pirate meta??
But.. maybe WotOG will have a really strong pirate meta??
This excuse is as old as the idea of "new Hearthstone cards".
Pirate decks still suck.

Well no sense doing anything with it just yet, since we have no idea what the Standard meta is gonna be like
[editline]12th April 2016[/editline]
Also, if someone could add Trafficman#1183, so I can complete that quest to spectate a friend winning a game

I'm probably going to play in Wild. Just for the crazy combos Blizzard can get away with thanks to Standard format.

It's good.
I don't really play Priest so this is a genuine question, why would you play that over Auchenai? Just because it's cheaper I would assume?

It's cheaper (turn 2 flamestrike) and can't be stolen as easily as Auchenai.
I'd maybe run it in Reno Priest. Overall I've barely got issues with manacosts as a Priest since it's such a reactive class, especially against control.
I'd gladly pay 2 extra mana for a 3/1 since that either forces a trade or a 2 mana ping / small removal.
Sometimes Auchenai locks you down from actually healing yourself if they don't remove it though.
It does make it somewhat easier to do a Thaurissan/Velen-combo, maybe viable?

It could also work in some weird combo priest that's all about bursting down your enemy with heals.

Auchenai Soulpriest sacrifices 0.5 Mana (1 stat point) to turn your healing to damage while it's alive.
This card costs 2 for the same effect, but only for one turn.
At the very least, because of the lower mana cost, using healing as reactive damage becomes easier (5-Mana Bomb Lobber sacrificing a damage for precision, 3-Mana Ironforge Rifleman sacrificing 1 Health for +1 Damage, 2-Mana Flamestrike, etc.) and when you only need it for that turn, but other than that, I'd still pick a 3/5 body.
maybe we'll see some crazy burst priest with emperor and velen, but I don't like the card
It's cheaper (turn 2 flamestrike) and can't be stolen as easily as Auchenai.
Getting your Auchenai stolen is very unlikely, and fairly inconsequential, so I don't know why you'd worry about it.
I don't think I'd even want the Circle of Healing combo on turn 2, I'd rather wait a bit to get more value out of it. And Auchenai + Circle costs more mana but it also leaves you with a 3/1 Auchenai on the board.
I do like that it's just the Auchenai Soulpriest on the card, I love continuity between multiple cards
One of my favorite things about Yugioh was that there were a bunch of mostly unrelated cards across multiple sets that kind of told a story in the art
Not that I, uh, not that I ever played Yugioh :pudge:

Edit: Hey, this doubles as a review for the new card!
the more I think about it the more I realise burst priest might be insane
Maybe I'd play this in some sort of combo deck with Zombie Chows, etc.
Actually this card might be their justification for the new Healbot come to think of it
You could do some pretty insane stuff with this new card that Auchenai couldn't do though.
Thaurissan with the following cards in hand:
Prophet Velen (6m)
Embrace the Shadow (1m)
Flash Heal 1-2x (0m, 10dmg)
Hero Power, Upgraded (2m, 8dmg)
You could also topdeck one Flash Heal later since the combo costs 9m.
Overall, 4 cards + Hero Power for 28dmg

That new healbot plus this card = a more easily controllable auchenai effect that doesn't cost as much mana
More cheap hard removal for priest oh boy oh boy
That new healbot plus this card = a more easily controllable auchenai effect that doesn't cost as much mana
Not really, you would have to either have it on board already or waste atleast 5 mana playing a creature you immediately kill for 8 damage burst.
It's just not worth it.
THE NEW DEATHWING IS INSANE

...But why do we have two Deathwings? Couldn't they have picked any other dragon?
