please no
PLEASE NO
Why not just 'Your spells now also freeze their targets'?
Might as well go full crazy and go 'Your spells and Hero Power now freeze their targets.'
I can just imagine them not bothering to change the Hero Power icon with that effect.
The coldest flames in Azeroth. :v:

I mean, there's already the perfect spell in WoW for it:

Why can't it be 3/5.
There must be a GOOD reason for this card to be this trash. I don't understand. It is a class card for fuck sake.
I have a feeling they've got another card waiting to be announced that would pair with this nicely. Maybe another minion whose battlecry damages a frozen minion, or a spell with similar effects.

even then it probably still wont be better than flamewaker being a 4 mana 2/4
Maybe a minion that does 1-2 dmg to frozen characters every turn start/end ? Idk

freeze is a mechanic blizzard dislikes
freeze mage got entirely shafted a while back, and they are pretty much completely scared to make freeze anymore powerful than it already is
as long as no one here says "it should freeze all enemy minions" then im happy with any suggestions, someone on reddit actually thinks that would be balanced.
it should be a 5-4 imo. It should be an aggressive card if anything.

its not fair comparing any new card to flamewaker, flamewaker is actually overpowered(and only used in one popular archetype)
this card is made for slower decks, not tempobased decks like flamewaker. I wouldn't compare them at all.
"Overpowered" and "Used only in one archetype" really don't go together. Flamewaker is a good card, but hardly overpowered. There is a serious distinction between good and overpowered that people don't seen to understand.
An example of an overpowered card would be Emperor Thaurissan. That card sees play to some degree in virtually every class and the decks that he's in are almost always considered competitive.

It's harder to gauge the power level of class cards, but I would honestly say that Blizzard has been quite good with balancing in that aspect, making sure no one class's cards just throw them head and tail above everyone else. At least as of now; remember when Mind Control cost 8 mana? That was fucking absurd.
Yes! I was kinda afraid that Museum Curator wouldn't have any Priest minions to pull in Standard.
Still hoping for a big AoE removal tho.
DOOM ! should have been made for the priest
This puts us at exactly half of the set revealed
Only 67 more cards to go!
Are we going to see the whole set before it's released? I would love if they kept some secret.

Why is there so many people with good decks at rank 20 and why is matchmaker putting me exclusively against them
[editline]15th April 2016[/editline]
Cause my 2-3 semi-competent decks sure aren't very good against people who have actually been playing long enough to have decent legendaries and it's kind of hard to get competitive with them when you get frustrated and can't complete any quests for gold

Woah. That's really aggressive for a Priest card. I like it.
However it's not the Priest card we need. The class desperately needs a board clear of some kind with Lightbomb rotating out.
Uh doesn't Priest have a ton of viable board clear options as is?

We did, post-expansion it's gonna be either holy nova or auchenai-circle as our only board clears

Do you like it competitively?
yes I ran 2 in fatigue priest when I played that

Big plays on the hearthphone today.

That seems like a bit of a fallacious statement. Leeroy was overpowered, but only really overpowered in aggro decks, and alright as a combo piece in some other decks. That's not to mention patron which was pretty overpowered in the original patron warrior deck, but even during its prime, never saw play beyond that. As a bit of an exaggeration to prove my point, Mill Rogue would love a card that was 0 mana: both players draw their decks, but for literally any other deck, it'd be horrible.
As for Emperor Thaurissan, I'm not sure I disagree that he's overpowered (especially in some combo decks), but I really don't agree with that standard of measurement. Zombie Chow, which despite being in every control deck, I also don't really think anyone would say is OP. If your opponent gets a chow out on turn 1, that's a strong play, but it's not impossible to come back from. And then there's Ancient of Lore, which is in basically every competitive Druid deck, but I don't really think anyone would say that he's overpowered. Strong? Sure, Ancient of Lore is an incredibly solid card, and maybe would be OP in some other classes, but not as it stands (as a side note, blizz pls leave my druid cards alone, you can take the combo but pls don't make beast druid mandatory).
I think I would define overpowered more as having too much value for the cost (which I admit Ancient of Lore skirts the line of, but a 5/5 on turn 7 really isn't that strong tempo-wise), or swinging the tempo in a way that doesn't really allow for the opponent to make a come back.
hoping for these Priest cards to be revealed:
-good 2-drop (maybe 2/3 with Taunt?)
-another buff like Velen's Chosen
-Lightbomb
Do you like it competitively?
It's an incredibly strong card that's both good against aggro and control decks to an extent. Problem: it's garbage mid-game and it's especially mediocre against midrange decks. It does nothing to Druid minions, for example.
Priest has this GAPING hole in it's armor when it comes to the mid game and that's the void Lightbomb previously filled. The early game can be mopped up with a variety of lesser board clears and the lategame can be conquered through a variety of card advantage and tempo effects, but anything with four power and equal or more health that comes down before turn 9 or 10 is impossible for Priest to remove under most circumstances.
Priest could probably power through that stage of the game with raw card advantage if it could, but that's something the class seriously lacks (and for good reason, I suppose). The best thing it has is Northshire Cleric, which is a super mediocre/bad card if it wasn't for the fact that it's almost necessary to run in all Priest decks.
[editline]16th April 2016[/editline]
Priest SPECIFICALLY needs strong commons so it can be relevant in Arena and some form of board-clear effect so it doesn't drop out of constructed from this set.
Apparently Khadgar have this sound for "Oops" in russian client. :v:

Khadgar's portrait looks really bad in an actual match IMO.
I mean. Look at it, it misses the bloody black outline other portraits have, it's weirdly zoomed in and the firebolt effect looks misplaced for some reason when it impacts.
The worst part is the actual art is amazing.
