Now I'm just waiting for Gorlocs to make an appereance in-game.
I swear to god the amount of times ive lost to a reno jackson topdeck
Avatar fits
It's definitely looking like Druid could be THE C'Thun class, similar to what Reno is to Warlock. [editline]17th April 2016[/editline] The Hearthstone subreddit is most likely revealing a new card tomorrow.
Well, it looks to me as if they want to make up for the upcoming force+savage nerfs, by giving druid a strong deck in the C'thun archetype. We still don't know if these cards will actually get nerfed but by now it seems most likely.
Here's a rough idea for Reno N'zoth Hunter (or you can call it simply HunteReN'zoth) Highlights of the deck: - Unleash, Dreadscale and Reno against aggro - Unleash/Call of the Wild/Onyxia with Cult Master/Infest for card draw - Elekk to draw N'zoth 100% of the time (Edit: Warning: might contain traces of humor) - Highmane/Sylvanas/Thalnos/Twilight Summoner for N'zoth/Huhuran synergy
- Elekk to draw N'zoth 100% of the time
???????? Elekk is just a standard joust, it doesn't pull the biggest minion to compare.
Every game today I've been taken out by huge combos Freeze mage with the combo Rogue with the weapon charge combo Shaman with the wind fury double attack combo In general insane control decks everywhere, it's getting really bad. Game will be going fine on my end and then suddenly I'm dead. [editline]18th April 2016[/editline] I just want to do my dailies and not get fucked in the ass by your combo memes.
How do I get started playing this game? Downloaded it a few days ago and I'm enjoying it but there's a lot of cards I don't have and I'm not really sure what to do with my decks. Is it something that I need to spend real money on if I want to get a lot of good cards?

I don't really recommend buying packs or arena entry with real money, however the adventures are decent value although I wouldn't recommend Curse of Naxxramas as its being removed from the main play mode on the 26th. If you do want to buy an adventure I'd recommend the League of Explorers as it has quite a few good cards and very few bad ones. I got by without spending money on it for around a year so its not something you need to do however
???????? Elekk is just a standard joust, it doesn't pull the biggest minion to compare.
That was a joke.

Is it something that I need to spend real money on if I want to get a lot of good cards?
Yes, and at the same time no There's an upcoming feature where the games are split into two formats: Wild: Anything goes, all collectible cards are available. Standard: Only expansions released the last two years are available (so no Naxxramas nor Goblins vs. Gnomes). But even then that's quite a lot of cards. You either gotta be patient, or succumb to meta decks and cough up the dough (which hopefully isn't the case, but could be). One way to go about it would be to stick to two or three main classes; it's better to actually have key cards on a few classes you're comfortable with, rather than to have all classes have some pieces to their decks. Since you can have up to 3 Daily Quests, you have a good chance to reroll for said main classes and not getting frustrated with playing subpar decks. There's probably a better way I'm not thinking of, but that's the best I can conjure up without paying money. :v:

All in all, you'll either: 1) be a filthy casual and not care about getting good or making great decks, you just want to have good old fashion fun with that one single deck. 2) be patient, build one/two solid deck and grind dailies in ranked (never go casual, for starters) and Tavern brawl for gold, buying packs and / or adventures to slowly broaden your collection. It will take years before you can build any deck you want. 3) go really hardcore and rapidly learn high-level tactics through guides, play and observation. Then regularly hit the Arena to win big and cash in. 4) let Blizzard have access to your credit card so your problems go away. 5) give up because you blame matchmaking for making you fight bullshit decks that is "totally unfair because that guy got like, 6 legendaries".

Is it something that I need to spend real money on if I want to get a lot of good cards?
short answer: yes long answer: no, you can very slowly build up a collection of good cards over time for free, but there are many factors that complicate this. How good are you at arena? How often can you play? What are your goals for your collection? The time period you're looking at could be anywhere from a few weeks to actually never. If by wanting a lot of good cards you mean you want a solid collection that can build many decks without compromises/substitutes, you're definitely looking at a long time. general gold/card grinding tips: -always reroll 40/50g quests, never clear them unless you have to -don't buy packs from the shop, always play the arena provided you can get 3+ wins consistently -try to hit rank 5+ each season for that dank golden epic, even if it's shit it's free 400 dust (quite hard to do without a viable deck, especially if you're new) -always get that dank free pack from the tavern brawl each week It's pretty obvious stuff but that's all you can do. For adventures, grinding the 3500 gold is fucking miserable and you need to be an exceptional arena player to make it any easier (turning a profit from the arena on average is significantly harder than breaking even or saving gold on average), I can't recommend it, you may want (be forced) to buy them.

It's like the worst feeling to have a burst combo and having your opponent play him.
I do have Loatheb.

[editline]18th April 2016[/editline] I just want to do my dailies and not get fucked in the ass by your combo memes.
Generally speaking in card games, combos are the prefered win conditions because it's incredibly hard to disrupt them without directly attacking a player's hand, mana sources, or the cards themselves as they are being cast (counterspells). Heathstone lacks ALL of these ways of interaction, so combo is more prevalent than it honestly should be and there's no real way to change this. If you don't like combo, then you're going to like standard a bunch more. Smaller formats restrict the card pool, which usually makes combo decks significantly weaker since they (usually) need so much synergy in them in order to work. Expect Wild to be an entirely combo format with a few of the-grindiest-decks-you've-ever-seen thrown in. I personally LOVE combos and have always been a combo player in Magic: The Gathering. Something about going from 0-to-DEAD strikes me as hilarious and solving the 'puzzle' to cause it is always enjoyable.

Just expect it to take a long time to grind out the required dust for rares/epics/legendaries.
Nothing more satisfying than destroying a greedy warlock with a full board of minions with Equality and Consecration.

So...after a single turn?
So...after a single turn?
It will keep on shifting until you play it.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/DnKwUi7.jpg[/t] :-)
Innervate nerf please.
Sounds fun!
Not practical. Why would you run a random minion which might be bad and might be awesome, when you can just consistently run something set in stone? But hey, take a look at it from the bright side. Casino Mage and Randuin Wyrnn have got a new tool to play with, so that's awesome. EDIT: Might be good out of Elise.
It will keep on shifting until you play it.
Guessing it transforms entirely, so you have to deal with shifting mana costs as well? Wonder how they're gonna do the UI for that, since it was already confusing for Blizzard to have more than 9 deck slots. EDIT: Ah found it.
It changes every turn until you play it. It has a special glow on it and a tooltip if you mouse over it to remind you that it is Shifter Zerus.
https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/4fdqla/daily_card_discussion_thread_271_shifter_zerus/d27y40z
If you play a deck where you keep a bunch of stuff in your hand waiting for a chance to use it anyways it could be good I don't know what the chances of getting something worth it would be, but I could kind of see it in some control decks [editline]18th April 2016[/editline] By the way, are all the Neutral squiddles like Zerus and Soggoth canon? I know the Boogeymonster's not but I'm curious about the named ones
